So I will biteIn my setting, it try to give the comfy and cozy world but really has a bit of a peak and dark underbelly. From monsters in the woods attacking travelers, bandits raiding farms and villages, orc camps and goblins nests kidnapping women and children for status, food, and pleasure.To evil cults, witches, and vampires attacking people in cities and towns they currently occupied. However, you do have groups adventures and heroes trying to stop the endless horrors that people don't even know are happening in the shadows.I don't like the misery porn that people act that is grimdark. Grimdark is you can't SAVE the world but you can still save the day. Just you're always are on guard, you're not able to end the problems just keep them at bay. Maybe you prevent others from even knowing about them or more about them so they can sleep better thinking everything was solve over the fact even if you stop this event another might be in the shadows waiting for a chance to get them and their love ones.
