Re: the terminator discussion, I realized that the setup I was planning to use is really difficult to push of point. My plan is, 5 assault terminators lead by librarian and ancient in angelic inheritors detachment. If they are on point, they can hide in the terrain and almost certainly get benefit of cover if not fully out of line of sight, plus -1 to wound from ancient, and if I really need, angelic inheritors have a strategem that makes it impossible to shoot at a unit from more than 18 inches for that shooting phase. Then once the enemy gets close I can advance and charge with marine army rule, reroll both from angelic inheritors rule, keep point control from ancient, and kill basically anything in the game that doesn't have the titantic keyword. All of this with 30 total wounds all covered by an invuln save.

Klaws or Saws? I wanna keep the combis for the flexibility but the melee weapon I am unsure. WS4 sucks but with bully boyz they are getting sustained 1 so it offsets it a little and it's D3 so it's better than klaws against TEQs. I don't think dual saws is worth a lot because at S10 you're already wounding TEQs on 2s so why waste the shots for a re-roll ?

Instead of just highlighting the edges, you instead lighten natural high points on surfaces and blend out the colour a bit more. Once you figure it out it can be easier than the edge highlighting and often faster. But you do you. Some people prefer the super crisp edges and that’s perfectly fair.

It seems like GW is trying to remove WYSIWYG from the game. Sternguard's weapons turning into combi-weapons no matter what you modeled them with. All the point defense/pintle mounted options on tanks turning into Defense Arrays. Reivers no longer having to choose between pistols/rifles/special knives. We even saw it in the revealed Custodes datasheets; banners no longer replace weapons for them. Do you guys like this direction for the game/hobby?
