>Paizo removed all their old Dungeon and Dragon mags from their store when they updated it>even before that removal, numerous issues were missing>still not on dmsguild>you have to buy them in print at ridiculous markupThis is absurd. Why can't Paizo and WOTC just both get some money for sales? All I want is OEF copies of every magazine so I can ctrl-F them, and I'm willing to pay good money for it.
They really are the last remnants of a bygone age, it's a wonder that White Dwarf still exists.
>>98760860it isn't happening, anon, magazines are dead and gone. You can get them from Internet Archive and other sources, it's what I'm doing to get old modules and whatnot
>>98760860>Why can't Paizo and WOTC just both get some money for sales?Because they're retarded.Pozzio is fully distancing themselves from DND by investing in the gayest sci-fi setting ever conceived that literally nobody wants.WOTC is so out of touch and oblivious that the CEO thought Baldur's Gate was a VTT and that there's never been a DND MMO (there are two and they're getting regular expansions), there's no way the higher ups even know Dragon or Dungeon magazine exists.
>>98760860Potentially rights issues, and the effort to correct them isn't worth the pitiful return.
>>98760860If you cared, you would've already pirated them long ago.
>>98762119Where I work (not gaming related) we had a bunch of stuff we couldn't reprint from the 00s because a lot of it was in typefaces we hadn't paid for. It was the wild west back then and you could just download a bunch of copyrighted stuff off DaFont and go wild. I believe we received a C&D over it and since then a bunch of stuff stays in the archive and won't come back out unless they can justify the effort of reformatting it all.So yeah, rights issues can fuck up a project like this even on the minor stuff.
>>98760874>>98760860This is depressing.
>>98762818I HAVE pirated them. Most of them aren't OEF and are bad scans
>>98763554There is a good chance the original electronic format for some earlier magazines no longer exists, or is no longer compatible with the software the company has.Publishing is a pain in the arse.
