>>98810960>Someone is making 3p content for my TTRPGs? Fucking why?
>>98810960Based
>>98810960Why not? Particularly if its published on something like drivethru and an independent designer is getting a buck or two.
>>98810960Objectively correct position for a DM to hold to stop unintended synergies but also go fuck yourself, unintended synergies is why I'm here.
>>98815365I'm very permissive, even for homebrew, but I reserve the right to veto or alter any cross-company/writer synergies.
>>98810960Dropping that GM so hard.
>>98815365a lot of the most broken stuff in some games is in the core rules
>>98821261Well, to be fair. Some 3P are broken AF. So if I GM, I have to read it first and think about it. Not just give them a yes or no. However, some of them one look and you can tell it's better off to say no. I swear remember a group of homebrew/3p that was just ripping off old homebrew but adding gay/woke art in it. I fucking called it out too saying this shit is just the homebrew I used but with gay art and they even fucked up on some of the rules. (Sounds like modern day game developers.)
