Have you ever ran/played in a game featuring actual ERP? More than just a fade to black, actually going play-by-play, motion-by-motion. I got the chance to do some recently in an online game (vidya), so I've had it on my mind.

>>98826058I found it shockingly easy to rp extreme fetish stuff, since if you're into it you already know the genre conventions and tropes, so can just tap into those if you find yourself hit with a bit of brainlag.

It can take 3-5 minutes per post (assuming full paragraph writing with two players that are very fast typers) and if you do an extremely short scene where each player posts three times each that's 30 minutes everyone else is just sitting around doing nothing. Unless your ERP is literally one sentence low effort trash it's going to bog up the gameplay so much that nothing will ever actually get done plot wise, and if that's the case why even pretend to play a ttrpg at all and not just all ERP straight up with no system?
>>988265413-5 minutes per post is pretty crazy.I usually go for 30-60s per post and that gives me up to a medium-sized paragraph. Albeit I am a 100+ wpm typist.
