Building the command squad for my tech guard out of skitarii, they're going to be getting the rifles regardless because they look the coolest, but should I give them ranger hoods or vanguard helms? Hoods look cooler, but even the force commander isn't a true mechsnicum officer so it'd feel weird to give them hoods, those feel more for the clergy, at least at this point in time anyway.

>>98828207Forgive the photo of my 40K trash, but for his injector pistol I sliced off the front end of a plasma pistol and smoothed the coils flat. I recreated a bit of barrel with some plastic tube and then used plastic rod to make the needle by heating it up and pulling it apart from both sides until I made a thinned section. Hold it until it becomes solid again and then I cut a suitable section of it off, cutting it at an angle for the tip. Hopefully that makes any sense.

Bringing the sicaran conversation back because im still a bit stumped. How do you make them work, especially for two sicarans with the same loadout. Someone last thread suggested naked sicarans with all bolters and autocannons, which does seem interesting. Ive also seen someone swear by the omega elsewhere. 60pts over an equivalent predator for +2 movement, +1HP, a heavy bolter and +2 rear armor seens a bit steep though.

They probably didnt know where it went so they just stuck it wherever and prayed it was right. Figure they wouldnt have had any reason to just look at the pics/instructions because it was going right from forge world bag strait into the mould making machine or whatever and not actually being built...
Do you guys use artillery now? Idk somehow it looks useful this time. Back then they were stronger, yet they felt pointless.
