While searching through the dust-choked archives of an abandoned magistrate’s estate, the party comes across a thick scroll case bound in worn brass.Inside isn’t a treasure map or an ancient spell, but a remarkably well-preserved print on heavy linen paper. At first glance, it looks like a traditional woodcut of a folk legend. Upon closer inspection, however, it’s clearly something far more calculated: seditious political shitposting in its purest form. It is a lubok; typically printed on cheap, coarse paper and passed between street children, the poor, and cynical commoners fed up with highborn snobbery, used as lowbrow entertainment or hung as decoration in modest homes.

"These memes suck." I said, crumpling the paper and tossing it over my shoulder. "Now where's the elf pinups?"
