That's it. That's the only point change in any army I play or care about.
This feels like they went to an AI and told it to change something that wouldn't actually do anything to say they changed something.
We now live in a world where an Exorcist is equal in points to 20 guardsmen and a Commissar.

I feel like they're going to remove miracle dice as a whole and give Sisters a new army rule, with the Triumph change as a "last hurrah" sort of thing. My source is my ass hair, as per usual. You could at least pay me for using my ideas, James.

FDM still have annoying lines while resin printers can print models with lines that are nonexistent at best and become invisible after priming before painting at worst.

>>
>>98831415
They were mediocre at best. There were already like a half dozen 3d printable versions that were cooler months/years before they announced the models. Fuck I could just put extra guardian or dire avenger helmets on Cold one knights.

GW effectively missed their own market due to spending all their time/effort on marines.

The design could be better but GW is honestly botching their own aesthetic so often these days that mediocre or uninspired is probably mindblowing to half their audience
>>
>>98831383
Going to post again because I just remembered Nids vs Eldar is really interesting

You have one faction that is literally on deaths door vs a swarm of mass that continues to grow and adapt.
Now for meta reasons you can't really have them fight too much without the nids losing but it's a really cool concept
>>
>>98831459
they wanted more money so they cut corners, put unsavoury shit in the box, and raised the price, knowing people will eat it up anyway and even praise them for gracing them with long awaited exodites and 10 pages of lazy jungle terrain making tutorials that noone who will buy the box will even actually use.

Clanblade is kinda bad for what he does, but the rest are great. I like the models a lot. The only problem is we're going to waiting a long time for a standalone kit, which is fine my favorite recasters have them :^)

Nids vs Eldar is kino. Nids vs anyone else is kino desu. In Valedor the elves had to abandon an Avatar of Khaine on a planet (was a maiden world I think?) to the nids to the great shame of the Autarch leading the mission. They were getting overwhelmed taking huge losses and so had to bail. They return later only to find the Avatar still fighting atop a smouldering pile of dead nids hyping up all the elves. The Craftworld (Iyanden I think it's been so long) had to get help from Vect and the Harlequins to cleanse the world using an ancient super weapon and help defend the actual Craftworld, much to their consternation.

I'm not really sure who Dark Eldar fit thematically best as opponents for. My instinct is to say Black Templar but that's only for meta reasons. I guess Salamanders, White Scars, Guard, Tau, and Craftworld Eldar make the most sense.

Reading comprehension
I explicitly said no to minis, but yes to vehicles.
FDM printers play very well with boxy designs. Guess what all Imperium vehicles are? Boxy designs. Update your own knowledge base from 5+ years ago before calling other people retarded.
I literally said it's a waste of time trying to get good-looking minis (read: anything not a vehicle) on an FDM printer; I probably should have used a different catch-all term for the "not a vehicle" category, but my point stands.
>>98831460
Closed ecosystem that is very heavy-handed on trying to get you using their cloud system for files where you have no privacy or legal ownership of what you print (because Bambu makes a local copy of anything you print over their network and they're Chinese). You *can* get around this, but again they don't make it easy; path of least resistance and so on.
Also their printers are grossly overpriced and the "ease of use" argument falls apart when you realize the clones are made in the same factories or off of the same technical design (because both are made in China) and are by-and-large identical in all places where it matters.
>>98831470
>I'd just like them to look a little better
That's how you're wasting your time.
FDM printers cannot do "people" size minis very well because of the geometry required. Resin printers are better for this purpose.
You can get "decent" looking parts for vehicles on an FDM printer with minimal effort, which is why I specifically mentioned that as a caveat. If you sit and really tune your printer you can get really good parts too, but they'll need to be larger and boxier to avoid the production method's shortcomings.
>>
>>98831498
>Reading comprehension
I said tabletop anything as in using an FDM printer at all for tabletop related stuff. It is a terrible idea to use an FDM printer when the context is about tabletop anything. Including miniatures to miniature scale vehicles.
Unironically "no you" in a context that perfectly works.
>FDM printers play very well with boxy designs.
Barely. If the design isn't boxy it begins to show issues.
>Update your own knowledge base from 5+ years ago before calling other people retarded
My shit is up to date. I'll enjoy your next floundering(s).
>>
FDM printers are great for terrain is about the over major advantage they have over resin. You can print a bunch of cheap terrain quickly or drop down to .2 nozzle size and get some much nicer terrain, still much faster than resin, and the material is generally better for terrain too.
>>
>>98831498
Okay, but I'm not looking for perfection, just something that looks a little better so I can slap a few colors on it and start playing
>>
>>98831415
The dinos were sculpted by that gross queer scalie in the modeling studio and reek of furfaggotry- repulsive aura, very disrespectful.

GW also clearly repackaged them last minute with beast snaggas to clear excess stock when they were meant to be a versus box with the cadian spectres that were instead given a box with the red terror that was supposed to release with the tyranid codex. Money grabbing greedy dick move, again, disrespectful. They moved around all these different releases just to force us to buy the beast snaggas they cannot sell alone. Many completely lost interest in the box but woukd have bought for exodites vs the new guard operators.

Terrain templates instead of plastic. Lazy.

Claims without evidence (even an anecdote) can be dismissed without evidence. You have not provided anything beyond "you are dumb because FDM bad for minis" despite my own anecdote saying that FDM printing CAN be used in *certain* ways.
>If the design isn't boxy it begins to show issues
Which is why I EXPLICITLY said to use it for boxy designs.
Reading comprehension
>>98831515
If you insist on using an FDM printer, a coreXY printer and a .2-.25mm nozzle printing at like 50mm/s is the best you can reasonably get. You'd still have to do a bunch of test prints to dial in your settings like retraction, feed rate and temperatures of course.
FDM printing is limited in its efficacy on miniscule details like faces, so it can only go so far with present tech, which is why I say to avoid smaller models.

It was a massive success, despite box being shit, without terrain and no 2nd Kill Team, just excess stock snaggas of whom there were more in box than Exodites

Maybe if they made eldar s4 so their fragile asses could actually- err S5 I forgot about the stat creeping- at S5 with S6 or S7 shuriken catapults they'd probably do okay with AP-2. Probably scale most of their other guns up too. Scatter lasers going down to S5 is a joke. They used to wound marines on 2s, now it's 4s/5s and they don't even kill the marine when it goes through.

What I actually expect is the usual 5-10% cost reduction so you can bring more shit.

They all kinda inherently knew that they were all the most loyal brothers outside of Horus obviously and trusted each other to always do the right thing so when major decisions were being made during the heresy Wars they were always talking strategy with each other. Leman did have a major disagreement with him and Malcador about staying on Terra to defend it which Russ ignore and went after Horus directly and that pissed off some of his brothers but he had good reasons.

Can you please provide proofs that FDM printers can be serviceable even in the context of boxy vehicles on the chance I'm out of date on FDM?

Seeing FDM being compared to resin printing quality is usually a big red flag that someone is trolling to newcomers to waste their money, but your mention of basics like XY printer and nozzle sizes makes me think you might actually be genuine and knowing what you're talking about here.

I have a resin printer. Pic related is a model I haven't gotten around to filing for removing any missed supports yet or fixing any mistakes I may not have noticed. My issue is that I've somehow been made into some "master of 3D printing knowledge" at the LGS and people go to me for help that their prints failed. It is usually the same shit of the printer bed being misaligned or not giving the resin print the proper UV curing time.
Seeing misinfo spread (usually through repeating wrong AI answers) sets me off easily as you have seen in real time.

The model is from Anvilindustry called "Priest" from their Daughters of the Burning Rose line. The model is for 4th ED play.

>Seeing FDM being compared to resin printing quality
Where did I do that?
I have never said the detail quality will be comparable; in fact I've said the opposite of that during this entire conversation, both with you and the original anon. Anon specifically wanted an FDM printer for 40k and wanted better visual quality than what he has on a bedslinger, so I tried to steer that from the get-go with saying he'd be wasting his time trying with the sole caveat of boxy vehicles as one of the only things where FDM printing's shortcomings can be worked around.
I think you think I'm making an argument that I'm not making and have never made. I started my argument by saying that resin is better for fine details, and that you *can* get away with it on certain things that don't stress the medium's limitations.

>provide proofs
I'm currently doing a bit of a test for a few pieces for a Leman Russ to make 2 tanks out of 1 kit (the hull bottom, track assemblies, and the hull gun mount are all you need beyond the box's contents). The right track is on my printer right now, so I'll have photos to compare (probably) tomorrow to see how it goes.
I've also printed models of WW2 vehicles at scale for Bolt Action, they look the part next to injection-moulded ones with any issues like top surfaces being resolved by prime+paint or tamiya putty. The layer lines on sloped surfaces work really well there too to make the models look like they have a zimmerit coating for German vehicles, which is good because that's what I play.

Don't even joke about it, partner. GW could use that aspect as an excuse for licensed crossovers beyond HH/WH40k (if you believe they're separate settings) and WFB/AOS with 40k.
Don't even joke about it. Also Warhammer 40k fans are now the horse cartoon fans of today. You could probably look up any sci-fi video on Youtube with something loosely "connectable" to 40k and there will be comments mentioning it.
I remember a Star Wars "Solo" movie comment section about Han on Mimban as a soldier and people were mentioning 40k because of that scene.

Probably not as annoying and unavoidable as back when looking up any fictional character image would have a horse redrawing. But the 40k online fanboys are getting there.

I'm sorry I'm being retarded, but why does GW keeps pushing erratas for custodes if they are going to get new codex in 3 days? Are these going to still apply?
>>

>>
>>98832015
GW probably doesn't do any playtesting. Or their playtesters are more biased than they should be (as everyone is biased on anything) so stupid goofs slip through and last minute changes have to be made. But books are analogue and not digital so they can't be updated in a digital sense so downloadable erratas are pushed out.
>Are these going to still apply?
Probably not. Those inks and papers cost money and GW wants them sold to get their money back.

Rules-wise Vanilla Marines have always been the best performing on average. For much of 10th the best way to play Templars was to play them strikingly close to Vanilla Marines. The other Marines are there if you like their special units for other reasons relating to lore and aesthetics.

I got 1 of these boxes, you need at least 3 for all the characters and the units. GW kind of sold this box barebones, lacking an Ork Kill Team Squigga Wigga Riderino elites the normal Kill Team big box shenanigans of buying and selling the team you don't want or splitting it did not work. The hardcover bookis nice I guess. After 3 months I'm still trying to make the plasticard terrain 'work' but some of it can't be replicated according to what they've got on the box.

The art they've got there shows a large pyramid that has no directions in the book. "Just build it yourself!". If the cost of the book is a big factor in the box because it's hardcover, I expect them to cover all the possible combos you would possibly build.

It will be months before GW just releases the kill team as its own box and it will cost like 79 bucks because their pricing is out of control.

I am thankful kill team armageddon has terrain but I note it lacks a bunch of ork boyz as npos, which makes me think GW is once again doing a "remove content, charge 5% more" scam.

I’ll try them out. It’s too obnoxious dealing with Russian recasters due to the war. I’ve had great recasts from WTG, but they don’t have everything I’m looking for.
>>
>>98831519
also the thing that annoys me, if the terrain had raised the price of the box I wouldn't care, if the book was like "you can make more" I wouldn't care, but the wombo combo of there being NO terrain sprue, when they clearly have a sprue (and thus, a mold, that goes unused) means it's not ever going to be released at all in any fashion. So not only did they move these releases around, they cut corners to get it to production.

There is also a small add for more beast snaggas at the very back of the book- the snagga boss. "plz buy".

NTA but being unable to afford the high prices
GW sells luxury goods (luxury meaning "not essential to life", ie "voluntary purchase"), so they don't have guaranteed sales like they would if they sold foodstuffs and therefore have to actually consider the value proposition of their products vs. their competitors. "Their competitors" are not just other tabletop games, it's all other forms of entertainment; video games, movies, TCGs, and so on. GW's prices are on the upper end of all entertainment mediums, especially when you consider the ROI on fun/dollar. A movie can be watched over and over forever any time you want (assuming you have a copy instead of a digital license), but those space marines can only be built once and might get sent to legends 3 years from now.

Thing sold =/= the originally intended buyer bought it
For example, scalpers are people outside of the space (or at least outside the target audience) who usually have more capital to play with than the intended end consumer, and thus will pay a higher price than the intended end consumer, because these scalpers then turn around and resell at a higher price that they themselves caused by artificially limiting supply. Basic economics with a supply/demand graph.

Or on the other hand, just because some people are not willing to pay $72 for 10 Ratlings, doesn't mean there isn't someone else willing to pay that price. GW is fine with pricing out consumers because they think they can simply replace the priced-out customer with consumers who are willing to spend more money. Brand loyalty and consumer goodwill are not ideas that GW believes in, they operate on a high-turnover churn system.

It's worked to a degree, but cracks have also begun to show in a few different ways like the Armageddon box still being available at many 3rd-party vendors (online or otherwise) and many exclusive or FOMO models still sitting on shelves or in inventory.
Just because GW is sold out of something doesn't mean there are no problems, GW isn't the only seller of their products.

Trying to come up with a color scheme for a blood angels successor. How does this look? Left would be a normal Marine, right is for veterans and command
>>
>>98832655

Depends what sold out means. GW sends most of its production out to third parties, they don't really want to have that much stock on their own balance sheets, so GW itself always being sold out isn't an indication of anything. Secondly, how many kits are they actually making? If they make 100 boxes then if course it'll all sell out. If they make 1000, then maybe not, and then they'll have unsold stock on their books which doesn't look good in quarterly reports. Their business model is artificial scarcity. How long has everyone been waiting for a stand alone Red Terror or Exodites, or other KT kit? Those limited boxes make lgss and GW a lot of money. You don't think they aren't buying the boxes from themselves and then scalping them? Or just skipping that step and selling above MSRP?

Nice Blood Ravens, bro
>>
>>98832752
What does “good thing in the long run” even mean?
Such a stupid argument
>>
>>98832747
It's all basic color theory at the end of the day. Generally you want 2 of your colors to have contrast, and then your third to complement both. White complements everything but black, but constrasts darker shades of everything as well. Gold complements all shades of red. You just need to go for a darker red to get contrast with white, the gold then works well.

Pure gold has more of an orange hue to it than yellow, so that then would blend oddly with a bright red as well. Maybe a splash of a darker color beyond the red (not necessarily black, but maybe do a darker gray or medium blue for your pauldron emblems?) to give more contrast. That shade of red with gold trim, white pauldrons and gray emblems would look very clean.
Not being on a pure white background will also help with the overall design's feel, fwiw.

>>
>>98832790
I'd go white on the knees themselves and then either red or black for the squad number, depending on which you like the look of more (I think black personally). The white would help get more contrast on the lower body to help tie the whole thing together as one instead of "head and torso on top of unfinished legs."
Another thing to consider is making the belt buckle face (the circle on it) white to help break up the monotone red from the waist down too.

Not needed at all, but if you really want to have a visual "pop," go for a bright "plasma blue" for the helmet lenses.

>“IP getting ruined” doesnt mean anything other than you like it less
I like it for very good reasons, and if I stop liking it it's because what makes 40k good and what it is gets betrayed

you sound like you're defending change for change's sake regardless of whether it's good or not for the setting as long as it's good for gw's stakeholders, but those interests aren't identical, you can't assume any change that brings in money, or is done in the hope it brings money, is good, because it isn't, there are things that are good and bring money, things that are bad and bring money, and things that are good but don't bring money as well as things that are bad and don't bring money

if you protest this much it's because you just know that the race to make shit popular is one that ruins IPs more often than not

Severe lack of SEX, though anyone who seriously expected that was being a little retarded.
The designs are inoffensive in their loyalty to Jes' older concept work, but I still would have preferred a little more primitive of a look. More unique helmets and at least some bare arms would have done a lot for them.
Bundling them with Sniggers was a low blow, but paypigs bought out the whole stock immediately anyway. Same with the lack of terrain. I wish GW would be better about this kind of thing but the market continues prove they'd be foolish to bother.
I actually like the way the rules were done for 40k. They should go back to the Corsairs and make all those Voidscarred special squad members split off character units in the same way.

>They're just mounted craftworld eldar.
That's what they've always been, the models of the eldar themselves are remarkably accurate to Jes Goodwin's concept sketches from way back in the mists of time. The helmet is different (though the one in the sketch is extremely similar to another CWE helmet design, namely the one included in the war walker kit) and the fur on the shoulders is gone but overall the two are much more similar than they are apart. The problem is that decades out in the wilderness allowed headcanon and fanart to take over and the disconnect between what people thought exodites look like and what the designers at GW made them actually look like became massive.

Neat bit of new Custodes lore, Assault on Kol:

The smallest and most singular division within the Legio Custodes was the Moritoi; the "honoured dead who walked." Just as with the Legiones Astartes, it was possible for a Custodian Guard, having suffered injuries so terrible that even they could not recover from them but within whom the vital spark of life remained, to be interred within the cybernetic life support sarcophagus of a Dreadnought. Custodian Dreadnoughts are exceptionally rare, however, for the injuries that lay low a Guardian of the Throne often kill him and leave little to salvage.

The first of these was made while the Unification Wars were being fought, in a modified Ur-Gholem Pattern Walker, the first iteration of its kind intended for use within the Thunder Legions. These ancient machines were crafted to salvage crippled or wounded Thunder Warriors, sending them once more into battle in the name of His will. These walkers were viewed as the servants of a vengeful Thunder God by the inhabitants of Old Earth, but as the need for gods faded in the wake of the Emperor's war, the people of the home world came to view them in a more rationale sense.

Though they remained relatively rare, with less than perhaps a hundred Dreadnoughts of the Legio Custodes in service at the time of Magnus the Red's folly and the subsequent attack on Prospero, they represented a phenomenally powerful concentration of force.

Most had their chassis upgraded to the Achillus Pattern and less advanced, easier to produce variants of these machines would go on to form the basis upon which the Contemptor Dreadnought's of the Legions would be created.

I really just don't understand what the perceived point of girl marines would be; a space marine is basically a monster truck version of a man, so there wouldn't be any residual femininity after the ascension, and they're all aroace and autistic so it wouldn't even open any narrative possibilities, and would close others off—e.g., Kol Rakhul from the Vahl book wouldn't have been separated from his imouto if the Night Lords could've just scooped up all the kids at the orphanarium instead of just the little boys.
I genuinely can't read the push for female space marines as anything but the usual culture war bullshit where women want access to male spaces but can't tolerate the converse—after all, nobody is seriously demanding Misters of Battle.

You lack in AT beyond that Hippogriff, and it's not much to shout at on its own either
I'd drop your 4th HWS in place of another Hippogriff at the very least. What are you putting into the 4 Chimeras anyway? I get 1 for each squad of 10, is the 4th for 2 HWS or the command squad and a HWS? You're leaving some of your units out to dry either way with 4 transports, you have enough bodies to want 5 if you're planning to use them as buses.
Or swap both Hippogriffs out for Armored Sentinels with Lascannons
And don't forget your HK Missiles on the walkers and Chimeras.

So if you're sent in via a boarding torpedo, once you're done is there any way you can actually get back to your ship?
>>
I think GW should have leaned into the “cool” instead of the retro for the new edition. Something like Aethon Shaan should have been the inspiration. Leaping into battle at an unseen angle, the first thing your opponent feels is the lighting claws through their torso. Thinking about it, they could even still do retro by bringing back Beakie helmets too.
>>

Teleportarium
>>
>>98833850
Being "done" means taking control of the ship, so your parent ship can just send over a Thunderhawk or something to pick you up, or you can just get in formation with it and come back aboard at your next stop.

If you take the enemy ship and seize their on board teleportarium or allow your own ship to pull up in it for a large scale boarding action you probably can. Otherwise probably not.

>>
>>98834118

>>
>>98834118
Buy the Combat Patrol box of whatever war criminals you think has the best drip, unless the answer to that question is Space Marines, Tyranids, or Orks, in which case the 10th or 11th starter box might be reasonable
>>
>>98834118
Kinda legit (if vague) question, the real question is what faction you're interested in, but also
>Is the 10th edition starter set better
Why would you think this?
>>
>>98834122
Don’t know shit!

>>
>>98834125

Should I just buy an army of what I like and learn that way?
Also what’s the difference in 10 or 11 edition.
Is it like a ban list?
>>
>>98834133
well you could either split a box of space marines vs orks which is the 11th edition box set, or pick up 2 combat patrols instead

I'd suggest looking up youtube lore vids and deciding on an army that way. If lore isn't your thing then check out army playstyles and stuff.
Or pick whatever looks cool
>>
>>98834133
Just look at singular boxes to begin with, find an army you like the look of, grab a box each and try put em together. It's senseless diving in with a big order worth hundreds just to find out you don't like hobbying and have to sell it off.

>>98834138
>Is it like a ban list
Lmao wtf. Have you done any research beyond youtube, at all, looked at what comes in the starter sets? There's a rulebook there, so the 10th edition starter has outdated shit and you'd only buy it if you really wanted the models.
>>
>>98834141
"whatever looks cool" is the objectively correct way; several great factions barely have any books and you're going to spend way more time assembling and painting than engaging with the lore, even if you're an audiobookfag who takes ~15h to get through one novel

>Also what’s the difference in 10 or 11 edition.
>Is it like a ban list?
No, each edition is a completely different rulebook. 10th and 11th are mostly the same, but that won't always be the case. Units are usually added or taken out too, but that's not the main purpose.

Pick the faction you like most first and then look at the best value kits for your faction. Faction loyalty is important in 40k because unless you are rich it is pretty difficult to pick up a new army if you stop having fun or if you get nerfed too hard. Just pick dudes you like painting and whose playstyle fits what you like so you'll be happy playing them regardless of their present state in the meta.

Honestly if you just go by lore you probably won't be disappointed. If you like world eaters' lore you probably won't be disappointed with their tabletop gameplay of mindless charging into melee. If you like tau lore you probably won't be disappointed with their gameplay of using ranged attacks and strategy. If you like tyranid lore you probably won't be disappointed that your main options are overruning the enemy with a horde or pounding on them with giant monsters. You can also go to this page

https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/downloads/warhammer-40000/

And browse through the faction pack. Each faction pack contains detachments, which are the rules unique to your army that you can take. If you see detachments that let you reroll charges, buff melee attacks, etc. you know you have a melee heavy army. If the detachment rules buff shooting you have a shooty army. If they have movement shenanigans you have a tricksy army.

Knights can be allied in to any Imperium faction
Knights have a 1 DP detachment (Questor Forgepact) that lets them bring 500 points of AdMech
Those are the only ways to do it
>>
>>98834409
The thing is you can only bring 1 destrier if you ally them in and I want to bring two :(
>>
>>98834414
Then do it the other way around by playing Knights with 500 points of AdMech?
Or just ask your opponent if it's okay and house rule it, you can still do that; ymmv if your opponent isn't a friend of yours though.

I'm torn on if Knights should just be the tank equivalent in AdMech or if they should get their own full range of household support soldiers. Both have lore for them and both would end up being the same thing as now with how people play Knights, just with official rules.
>>

sick
how you liking it so far? i played most of the first one but got plebfiltered by the last level where you have to fight the GUO + LOC + chaos sorcerer guy plus a million other boogens all at once
>>
>>98834454
New datasheets will likely be what we'll get next year if the First Founding supplement rumors are true. I still believe we'll get at least something new for each of the Founding chapters, not sure if GW would be willing to unlegends some stuff or take models from HH.
>>
>>98834458
Do you even work anymore ratfag?
>>
>Per-Customer Caps: For high-demand releases, battleforces, and limited/special editions, GW frequently restricts purchases to a maximum of 1 or 2 units per customer.
Okay so if I get 2, can I get a third by going to the GW store?
>>
>>98834483
Something like Tyranid War Vets for Ultramarines wouldn’t need a whole new kit, I’m sure other chapters have in universe lore for their own special datasheets.
>>
>>98833059
>I actually like the way the rules were done for 40k. They should go back to the Corsairs and make all those Voidscarred special squad members split off character units in the same way.
this is what I was saying before they released the exodites

But also
Exodites should have had two datasheets like Dragon Knights with lances and dragon gunners with guns.

You could literally make a combat patrol that's just 3 units of knights. Or two units of knights and an Exodite stegosaur once they release it.
>>
>>98834491
Nah, they’ll mind read you when you walk in and know that they have to stop you from ordering a third copy of the product.

I love it so far. Same game with more enemies and weapons and levels.
>>
>>98833059
>Bundling them with Sniggers was a low blow, but paypigs bought out the whole stock immediately anyway. Same with the lack of terrain. I wish GW would be better about this kind of thing but the market continues prove they'd be foolish to bother.
I got it at 130 at my LGS and sold the boyz on foot, kept the squig riders along with the armageddon vehicles to fill out my Ork ranks. Will acquire Nobz too.
>>
>>98834432
>I'm torn on if Knights should just be the tank equivalent in AdMech or if they should get their own full range of household support soldiers. Both have lore for them and both would end up being the same thing as now with how people play Knights, just with official rules.
It doesn't matter what you're torn on, that's what they are.

And eldar knights should also get their own supplement army. Or "Codex: Maiden worlds" with exodites and knight clans.
>>
>>98834484
Yeah, on a 9 day fortnight so just doing some hobby with some mates.
>>
>>98834496
There's also the rumor we'll be getting new models for some successors. Pedro Kantor has been rumored for a while now so it's either for Armageddon or the Reign of Iron thing with all the IF successors heading to Cadia.
>>
>>98834496
the point of a new kit is that GW puts 3 tyranid war vets in a box and charges 55 bucks.
>>
>>98834539
You mean 65
>>
I mean think of it like this
>box Ultramarine War Vets
>can be built as Plague War Vets or Tyrannic War Vets
>plague war vets get +to fighting chaos, tyrannic war vets +against xenos
60 bucks for 3 models+the bits that you have to magnetize.
>>
>>98834496
non-DW loyalists having xenos trophies all over their armor looks retarded as fuck

They all were in the DW, no reason why you can’t spruce them up with DW bits. Titus only had something small due to his special circumstances, but why not bring your cool DW Pauldron back with you to the chapter.

Like he said, you take the Questor Forgepact detachment, it’s 1DP and lets you take 500 points of Admech.
Even without it you can ally in Imperial Agents, like an immolator and a sister of battle squad, this’d let you split the sisters unit in half for actions.

500 points isnt enough. I want mostly admech with a couple Destriers. The problem is that you can only take 1 knight with allies.

FDM is a goddamned joke unless you join the A1 mini flock like the rest of those people and even then you're still going to be a ways off from GW/resin levels. Either you admit quality isn't the point and just grab whatever or you admit fdm isn't quality and get a resin setup OR you just keep to terrain like a boring bitch.

Would be a fine answer if not for the stringing from hell itself.
