Making a heroforge mini for your character

Basing your character off of an existing miniature
Has anyone else done this? I have had some success in inspiring my creativity by taking one of my minis (esp a pre painted one) and having to make that my character, even building his backstory off of small details.

Is that Marcille, but a dude?

I've started with a basic idea (really basic, like "cleric") and then gone and found a mini to build the rest of the character around. I feel like it's not that different from starting with character art though.

True but I think it's more of a commitment since you can't as easily just search up a new art piece. There are only so many minis at the store to buy. I like it for when I can't decide what to play and need some creative fuel.

What mini did you use and what attributes of your character did you derive from details of the figurine?

That's not even an elf. Get your eyes checked mate.
