Are there any rules out there for low-fantasy like Mythras but with Talents/Feats/Advantages? Something like the old 2d20 Conan but currently supported? I'm not looking for universal systems.

I'm looking to run something with minimal to no demi-human races, no clerical magic, but still the trappings of fantasy from evil orcs to magic rings. Anybody got anything that isn't Harnmaster?

GURPS is great for Low-Fantasy Rules
Great sourcebooks too!
Happy gaming!

DCC with the Lankhmar boxed set

Why would the system being currently supported matter? Games don't stop being compatible with modern hardware.

It raises the chances of their being a Foundry module I can use.

Ah, that's reasonable. Lazy automation fags do need their spoonfeeding machines.

Careful not to cut yourself on that edge, son.

The Dark Eye is reasonably low fantasy.

>The One Ring
Never played it but seems to be a cool game.
>Dragonbane
It isn't a crunchy game, but also not minimalistic, somewhere in between.
It has demi-human races like classic elves, dwarfs and iconic for it Mallards or Wolfkins, but those are super easy to rework to some other human tribe, culture, nation - mechanically it's one or two starting special abilities and that's basically all. Like dwarves can attack an opponent with a boon if that opponent has dealt at least 1 HP of damage to them, or Mallards swim better and can skill check with the boon but for getting the Angry condition. The Bestiary adds more playable races like orcs, hobgoblins or furry folks, but I find them kind of boring and I'll rework them for my campaign
Also only two meta currencies: Health Points and Will Points (you spend them to activate an ability, which is something like a feat or to cast a spell).
Also there is also little magical junk, but it is worth investing in good shoes or warm coats for expeditions.
There is a kind of clerical magic though: animist mages have healing spells and they have one top-tier spell that allows them to resurrect someone who has recently died at the cost of permanent loss of a Will Point.

Not sure why this matters at all.
Check out Barbarians of Lemuira or Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea or Worlds Without Number. They all do what you describe in different ways. BoL is lighter, AS&SoH is ad&d with howardian pulp, WwON is another take on it more of a b/x base. The last two are osr so modular enough you can add or remove whatever you need and it doesn't break anything.

None of these are "Mythras with Talents". I want tactical depth but also to make each character unique through special powers. Maybe Savage Worlds is the answer.

I love the Conan 2d20 system but now it's impossible to legally get PDFs. What if I want to buy the PDFs, or god forbid, the books, now? I want a game that's not going to disappear from store shelves overnight.

Why would you consider Conan particulary low-magic? Sure, it is not a magical item fest like dnd, and magic is generally dark in the hyborican age, but you have sorcerers as NPCs like every two stories and you can be one in the game.

>>98909016

Why would it disappear? Just download it all from the usual trove and you're set forever.

>impossible to legally get pdfs
So get them illegally you idiot.
>hard copy
learn how to find things you want, you have the entire fucking internet at your disposal. Stop being a lazy retard waiting for a company to shit your desires into your open mouth.

Just a Reminder, if a licensed IP you like is published by Modiphius Entertainment, it's just a matter of time before the license runs out and Modiphius dumps the physical copies of that rpg line for 5bux a hardcover.
Never buy Modiphius rpgs from ebay scalpers like Noble Knight, who inflate the price substantially.
Its already being done with the DUNE RPG, after Modiphius started clearing out stock for less than a tenth of the listed cover prices.

Its 35 dollars you stupid ape.

Yeah, I agree; Never buy Modiphius rpgs from ebay scalpers like Noble Knight, who inflate the price substantially.
