Have you ever had a session take place in a hot springs?

>a session take place in
It'd be pretty hard to roll dice with all those pools and hard to keep the paper from getting wet from the sheer humidity, I'd think.

Yeah, exactly, hot springs make for memorable encounters with zombies.
Especially since sulfides of iron and sulfur acclimate to for a rigid structure like shell-related proteins that are apparently more durable.

Theres an adventure path that involves them so its not surprising what would happen your mages spellbook. Really important that you make use of adventuring grade vellum and not the cheaper paper.
>>
>>98911653
Technically yes, but it was just my PC and his NPC childhood bff/ex-fuckbuddy catching up during tense negotiations about honoring past ties after a rival clan tried to assassinate me while under his hospitality.
>>
>>98911820
So, are you talking about the adventure happening in-world, or the session happening out of world?
>>
>>98911863
Yeah I've heard some good things about the out of world adventure path they offer but Starfinder just doesn't seem to have the underrated charm that some of the other paths Paizo had in the past. Its a shame though that thats where there at these days. Organized play during the late aughts / early tens is something that'll never happen again.

Have you ever had a session take place during sex?

Tell me about your relationship with the Dungeon.
>>
>>98911653
Not exactly, we did have the party visit a bathhouse once though, at the insistence of the rather indulgent artificer in the party.

Not a full session, but in a Dragonball game I'm in as part of training with Roshi (alternate timeline stuff, notably he's already overcome his perversions by the Dragonball era) my character (a saiyan who denies her nature due to basically being slurred most of her life in the cold force and deciding to become as un saiyan-like as possible) was at a crossroads with her nature and her training and being concerned about what being a saiyan meant after learning about them from Gine (who survived in place of kakkarot, who in a rather dark twist ended up miscarrying on the trip to earth inside gine, the timeline's a bit wonky but it works), and she was instructed to observe macaque monkeys in a spring and even ended up in some "train yourself by becoming one with nature" shit where she used her Great Ape form to join them for a bit after being left to learn from them (the lesson was that she could choose what parts of her nature she accepted rather than denying it wholesale).

As a matter of fact I did have the occasional fanservicey onsen scene in my most weeb games, like Shinobigami.

>Dungeons are the functions of nomadic exploration and procedural systems, not instincts, but simulated instincts, artificial instincts. They arc pen & paper replacements for hard-wired instinctual responses, routing a sensory-motor pathway through the virtual machine of the unconscious. There are two basic diagrams for such processes : that of regulation by negative feedback which suppresses exploration and seeks equilibrium, or that of guidance by positive feedback which reinforces experience for treasure and escapes equilibrium. Machinic processes are either dungeon-positive-nomadic, with a deterritorializing outcome, or dungeon-negative-sedentary, with a reterritorializing outcome.

yes it ended in a graphic description of a beastfolk sex orgy

It was more of a very quick instance; I (GM) said it as more of a joke, but they came up with what kind of swimwear they'd put on and everything.

Real Gs go in naked.
>>
Surprisingly, yes. It was one of the mechwarrior RPGs. We'd chased down a gang of bandits to their hideout in the mountains and the hot springs were an environmental hazard that caused the mechs to overheat.
>>
>>98916340
Mechwarriors? Weird place to see hot springs sessions.
>>
>>98916340
>hot springs were an environmental hazard that caused the mechs to overheat.
That's nonsense, mechs can take operational temperatures in 100-200C range. If the spring was 200C+, aka hot enough to cause a hazard, it would be also hot enough to straight up evaporate.

Maybe the planet had a dense atmosphere.
