Merry Christmas, /tg/.

Bit early anon
What is that
>>
Nice nails, fag.

Looks like a frame for plastic Warhound, judging by the carapace section in the lower part. I had hoped it was just a gay rumor but I guess it might be true. Titans don't belong on the tabletop in 40k.
>>
>>98923990
Knights and fucking aircraft don't work but let's bring in Titans.
40k is so retarded
>>
Already have 2 in resin, might get another 2 in plastic.
>>
>>98923990
Oh thanks, I'm a fantasy/aos guy, just how big of a deal is this warhound? I thought titans were kind of a meme thing you didn't actually take to the games.

warhound titan
plastic

Warhounds are the smallest titans
Like how gargants have those little giants and then big giants
>>
>>98924014
A pretty big deal. It'll be the largest kit GW has released and it'll look absolutely ridiculous in the standard GW-approved battlefield. I'd say it'll also make 40k worse, but 40k has been dogshit for probably 15 years at this point if not longer.
>>
>>98924014
The big thing about it is that it'll likely make warhound titans something people do take to games.
>>
>>98924045
Uh huh, you totally started before 8th I bet!

Start killing 40k players en masse to save the wargaming hobby. We do not need to see titans regularly played on tables that look like pic related, we do not need to see the entire fucking hobby enshittified to accommodate these "people" who do not leave the GW retard preserve, swallowing up space and attention until actual wargaming dies under the weight of a bunch of mindless consumers who watch YouTube Shorts about muh 40k lore. At this point, it's putting 40k out of its misery anyway, because 40k is a sick and rabid dog. Frankly it'll be doing 40k a favor.

>>

Games Workshop and its customer base pose an existential threat to wargaming, especially in the United States due to our horrible LGS-based traditional gaming culture and this needs to be addressed somehow.
>>
>>98924446
Yes, we need to solve the Warhammer problem with some degree of finality. A final solution, if you will.
>>
>>98924427
I'm not at all surprised, when they managed to nail the plastic Cerastus kit I figured it was only a matter of time until they tried their hand at a plastic Warhound. It's a shame those guys are stuck in the Horus Heresy mines, imagine what they could do if you put them in charge of relaunching the Imperial Armour line for 40k.
>>
>>98924427
Obviously, titans are basically unplayable in 40k.
>>
>>98923965
Ngl, if the price is the right side of insanity (so knowing gw, probably not) I might buy one to paint and display. I've always had a soft spot for Titans.
But knowing gw it will be £280 before vat
>>
>>98924516
Why isn't this allowed in 40k?
GW allowed the HH custodes in 40k
>>
>>98924516
I wonder if 40k Admech would've taken a different path today if Fires of Cyraxus got a release, or if it would really just be 30k robots getting a short-lived run before being shelved to Legends. At the very least it got some acknowledgement in the Journal Tactica.

Okay, uh what's it called again? "Warstomper Mega-Gargant" is about 180 mm, or bit over 7 inches tall, according the image on GW's site. So they are roughly about as tall as most Imperial knights.
And here's a Knight and Warhound in same pic. They are nice models, but GW keeps forgetting what's the damn scale of their games.
>>
>>98924651
The Specialist Games Team (or whatever they're called these days) is basically a rebranded Forge World, it's not too surprising that they keep making increasingly ridiculously large plastic kits.
>>
>>98924651
Kek do they really have two bases like that?
>>
>>98924665
They didn't have any base, you either leave them freestanding or figure it out yourself.

Stone people is regular cut MDF, individually base each foot or use big wooden plaques.
>>
>>98924672
I've always been partial to cake separators, myself. Available in a variety of diameters and made of styrene plastic so you can easily glue terrain to them
>>
>>98924622
Even legends rules is preferable to straight up not existing in 40k, there's nothing stopping you from using legends units unless you're playing in a tournament or against wankers.
>>
>>98924622
isn't a major reason 40k AdMech is so different HH AdMech, due to Jes Goodwin really not liking the Forge World design and managing to convince the higher-ups not to allow them to intersect at all

They're basically unplayable in 30k too, their only purpose is to unlock the cool Engine Kill missions
>>
>>98925263
they're fine

btw you're going to win the Engine Kill on VP if the only titans are warhounds, they can't smosh bonka before it resets
>>
>>98924693
The double base thing is the best if you plan to actually use your Warhound in games IMO, the large mini-diorama bases look great but their enormous footprint is extremely impractical on the tabletop.
>>
>>98924074
That's right you gay nigger. Here's the book collection going back decades. I keep it in my game storage room. You...do have a game storage room don't you anon? One of the rooms in your house? Surely you've got a house?

Only heard rumors of the sort that it's made intentional at least now, despite so many Admech players really wanting them.

>>98924708
This is true. But even Legends is really patchy now, now I can only see them through that stupid phone app and HH Legends in particular seems to outright no longer exist for any flavor of CSM.
>>
>>98923965
The fucking creature that took this picture needs to trim those talons, jfc
>>
>>98923990
To be fair I think it's more a centerpiece/display model. I'd definitely want one for my display, but wouldn't ever play with it.

That said, I also want a stormbird but I could get a top end 3d printer and still have change instead...
