Sounds like youre leaning towards WtA's version of Abominations but generally they have both strengths and weaknesses. So your clan and standard weaknesses for vampire and silver for werewolves. In return you have shapeshifting, gifts, disciplines, and the ability to step sideways. You heal like a vampire and you can only use one type of pool (blood points, rage, or gnosis) per turn.
Looking more into Crinos and Chiropteran Marauder, I would treat them as seperate forms BUT you can do partial transformations as a werewolf. So you could pop Chiropteran Marauder and then grow Crinos claws/teeth afterwards.

Well so far I don’t have any garou weakness. As far as clan weakness, now that I think about it I’m a recently embraced Cappadocius. I won’t lose my single dot of appearance before at least two centuries. For now I just have pale skin. Anubis currently looks like a pharaoh lich in the material world, and like a jackal-headed god in the Umbra.

Though unfortunately I can only buy gifts as out of Tribe (x5). Rest of the rules you got it right. Though I have three dots in Necromancy: Corpse of the Monster. Once I reach level 5+, I intend to make it permanent. I will transcend vampire existence! Have the might of both races and none of their weaknesses!

If the forms can be combined, I guess “partial” transformation is the way to go. Though I suppose that you can’t stack the physical stat boosts. It’d be fun if I could either take Crinos boost instead of big bat, or mix and take the best of both.

Hunterbros, are you nomadic or stationary? Ie, do you have a regular area you hunt the supernatural in the vicinity of, or do you move around wherever the leads take you? Nomadic certainly has the advantage in letting you get out of dodge easily if something goes horribly wrong, but stationary lets you plant deeper roots, and knowing the land you hunt in is an excellent advantage.

The only hard and fast rule is don't shit where you eat. Your first encounter was probably near where you live, and if you're Imbued your first encounter probably involved giving a monster some impromptu dentistry, but work-life separation is important to staying alive.
Even if you make an opsec mistake or two, vampires won't follow you out of a city, and werewolves won't follow you into one (of course most hunters aren't going to know about exceptions like Gangrel and Bone Gnawers).

Actually I really like that V5 remade most icons and made them look sharper and more modern. I use them in place of older ones. While there are stinkers the Ventrue logo (for example) is way more representative of the Clan with the gladius.

Its a shame because "dynastic mafioso necromancers" is a fun dynamic. A clan where they are embraced by their forefathers after they have kids who become the next gen of ghouls and later their own vampires. It adds a nice dynamic when the identity of the 250 year old witchy woman the parties been chasing gets revealed and a party member goes "aw shit, its my grandma".

But its also extremely one note in most players eyes. Even players that try to avoid stereotype go "okay uhh italian coded, very serious about family, willing to beak some legs to get what he wants... aw fuck its just gone back around to The Godfather again".

I think they could have added a bit more freedom by going with a Triad sort of deal where its three very different families like one italian, one chinese and one scandinavian or something and they all have their own cultural takes on necromancy but all practice embracing their own children.

But i suppose thats what Hecate was kind of intended to be and it blew chunks.
