>>11773687Stream happening tomorrow with new reveals. Rumor has it there may actually be additional things revealed on May 4th through different media outlets.
>>11773689Hasbro also unveiled their 1:1 fully animatronic Grogu today. For a whopping $600, you can get the most lifelike Grogu to date that comes with over 250 animations, sounds, microphones, and other fancy electronics. Apparently he will even tilt his head in your direction when you speak to him.
>>11773687Dead franchise, Jesus
>>11773691And it'll be at Ollie's this Christmas because the movie looks fucking awful and will bomb.
>>11773691I'm surprised this isn't a Haslab. Maybe the Mouse forced them to make this a mass release because they didn't want the optics if this failed.
>>11773691>when she wants a kid but you're allergic to dogs
>>11773691Fucking embarrassing
>>11773691In the 90s this would have cost $30
Do any of you rat fucks even like star wars?
>>11773864I like pre-Disney Star Wars media and some rare parts of Mouse-verse, like new Mandos, Rogue One etc.
>>11773574Shit, yeah I did forget to account for the clothing...Also, I'm not gonna grab the figures, as I'm satisfied with the mandalorians I have now, as well as there being better figures available.Butt also, yeah if your gonna be repainting, might as well just repaint the base figures armor panels, rather than swap stuff. Hell just painting things silver/gun metal makes a HUGE difference!
>>11773864What is there to like? Have you seen the prices? Have you seen the trash on pegs?
>>11773691>For a whopping $600For that price he better give me a bj too. Goddamn, fuck this garbage, did we ever got a 1:1 Yoda? That would be a nice thing to buy for $600, didn't even need the animatronic feature.
>>11772513>>11773028Really cool drawings, I like your style.
>>11773889Lol, they're just silly little doodles. You should see my REAL drawings!(This is the only star wars related one I got)
>>11773888There have been multiple life sized Yoda statues made. But if you're not liking $600 for an animatronic, then you certainly aren't going to like the price those things go for.
Speaking of which TVC could really use a new Yoda.
>>11773935Total waste of plastic. Why are they even doing this shit?
>>11773687we arent ever goind back to some kind of sex positive bodys?
>>11773972toyline for kidslike what 3.3/4 historically was
Why would you ever pay full price?
we need more ayys there is a critical lack of ayys across all scales
>>11774094Because the Star Wars team doesn't know anything about Star Wars
>>11774079Yeah the din djarin made no sense; you make a new chest sculpt for the jetpack, but you DONT give him the two heavy pistols!?There are also WAAAAY too many many of this guy, there was no need for a....7th Din (especially since an 8th will be released for the movie)
>>11774113he's a popular character and it's easy to make variants of him because all hasbro needs to do is use different coloured plastic/ some light paint apps i'm content with the first run they did with, he looks the most like a run of the mil bounty hunter
>>11774113The newest deluxe one that comes with Gogurt is a big improvement, though, admittedly. The only thing I don't care for is the huge tab on the jetpack; it's a good gimmick but I would've preferred for Grogu to be the one with the tab.
>>11774161Yeah, see, this one makes sense, because he SHOULD have a figure to go with his movie, AND the figure is updated from his first one, now with ball joint hips, the better ankles, a new gogurt (lmao), AND his new weapons (rifle and sword). It's specifically the earlier one with the white jetpack that is stupid.
who gives a fuck about this stupid movie
Mace Windu is one of my faves, what are the best Mace toys I can buy?
>>11774208what scale are you looking for?both of them are getting up there in age, the 1/12 tbs one is still pretty decent although i don't know how easy it is to find these daysthe 3.3/4 tvc genndy wars windu came out more recently, but it's just a minor recolour of a much older (but still good) figure from 2012ish, that one might still be kicking around here or there on some sites
>>11774193Not the general public. Nothing has been selling at stores, and even the new Mando shit is already piling up.
>>11774123>he's a popular character
>>11774079>duel pistols in the photo>only comes with one>not even the correct one he used in the sceneLame.
>>11774349We used to have a toy line that cared
>>11773966There has to be one coming to go with the gunship
>>11773973She's only 12 in the first season anon. Gotta wait on Maul season 4 when he's in full control of Crimson Dawn again.
Where did Emily go? I don't care for this scrawny queef.
I am actually mad. I am going to seethe hard if they make me rebuy Delta Squad.
>>11774161but now Grogu gets to have a huge Yodussy.>>11774113>>11774123I agree about the too many versions. Though initially I was down for at least one silver and one first episode colors and I initially got one of the Mando/Grogu 2 packs (dirty armor variant) but then when they released the fixed hips on the Imperial Base and the Blurrg set, I assumed the Mines of Mandalore and the Naboo Starfighter set would have the new hips too. But no, those two were reissues of the original mold. And I got both of them. And they changed the torso for the Imperial Base version so the jetpacks can't be swapped. So yeah, fuck paying full price and just go to Ross now.
>All those KOTOR/SWTOR Figures>Still no HK-47>THEY'RE NOW REDOING CLONE COMMANDOSHASBRO! HASBROOOOOOOOOOOO! I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE END OF THE EARTH HASBRO!
Okay, wow. Actually kinda impressed
>>11774530They'll redo Delta Squad with that scuplt as a four pack.
>>11774550Can't guarantee that I won't do a swap and return on this one Hasbro. Sorry but this shit pisses me off to no end.
this was the best stream in a long time ngl it felt like 2007 again. Proper redo of clone commando has been one of my most wanted for a long time.
>>11774550Glad I didn't bother opening my GS exclusive ones. Now they'll be worth 100 times more, lol. With that money I'll be able to afford the new versions at $50 a figure. Thanks Hasbro!
>>11774558>this was the best stream in a long timeYou are so full of shit
>>11774546See you guys at DDs.
>>11774558oh yeah more disney shit wow how amazing best stream ever
>>11774558Now this is shilling
I like that they finally decided to make an accurate Plo but yikes that cloak
>>11774546Ooh, new Ross clogger!
>>11774533No, see, I'm not even counting his initial red armor! The red armor getting its own figure, and then a pure beskar silver armor makes total sense! It's the 8+ silver armor versions that are too many!!See, something like a snowy version that also comes with the snow spiders, or the s2 finally version that came with Gideon and dark trooper, which had the alternate bracers for missiles and flames, are fine. It's the almost entirely redundant imperial base version that makes no sense! Especially with how half asses it is! No heavy blasters, still has his holster for his normal pistol, AND the bracers are also supposed to be stripped.Lazy, unnecessary, and deserves to be bulk at Ross. Also, wtf, they went BACKWARDS with the sculpt!?!? Fuck, I was thinking of getting the N-1, butt inferior sculpt really fucking sucks... (And updated sculpt for the red armor was why the Blurrg is back on my radar)Hmmm.... I guess if I see movie mando at Ross, I'll pick it up (it has the improved articulation, right!?!?)
So they're re-doing Delta Squad, then they'll release Gregor and then possibly dip further into legends and do Omega Squad figures?
>>11774570Amazon exclusive so not a chance.
>prequel shit>disney shit>video game shitwhy do they insist on giving the ot the finger
>>11774577Disney hates the old fans so there's a mandate to show as little OT characters as possible
>>11774576Ross has gotten tons of Amazon exclusives
>>11774562>>11774564>>11774568>>11774570Fuck off and kys samefag. I hate Disney too but your troll spam is so low effort and annoying. At least make intelligent criticisms instead of spamming the same worthless phrases. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is glorp ruining yet another general
>>11774585nice try go cry to mickey
>>11774571>(it has the improved articulation, right!?!?)I believe so. It looks like it does in the promotional pics.I did get the Imperial Base version at Ross which is how I now know that it's the only other one besides the Blurrg version that has the new hips. Blurrg interested me quite a bit because I'm a fan of the Ewok films, but after buying the N-1 set and then the Mines of Mandalore I ended up taking a break from the line entirely from the frustration.>>11774546Aw, I like Mission Vao. Why no 3.75 KotoR?
>>11774593Yeah I would buy that Mission in TVC if they did her but wtf did they do to Carth's face there? Who tf did they model that from?
>Finally doing KOTOR figures againOne step closer...
>>11774598Probably referenced from the initial failed KOTOR remake. People speculated the same with the unusual Malak from a few years ago.
>>11774603yeah at least there's no way they don't make him now. were there dates on when mission and carth come out? or the preorder window?
>>11774530>>11774550everyone defended the old ones are jokes now, good

>>11774585Found the shill
>>11774598Not gonna lie, I had to look up who Carth even is because I never really used him in my party.
>>11774620thanks
>>11774621I wish it came with the other blaster configurations too but guessing it doesn’t since they didn’t show or say anything. But at least it won’t be deluxe priced
Nice to see real Anakin again but I really don't think it looks much like Shaw. Then again I didn't think the recent Vader with the removable helmet was an improvement over the first TVC Vaded in that department either.
>>11774569This is what he looks like without it. If they had added a shorter skirt, I think it would’ve worked as his ROTS costume or at least how the old ROTS figure looked. I get they did this for AOTC/geonosis but with the cloak on I think he looks really lame desu… even a clone wars version would’ve been preferable to this towel with a lightsaber
>>11774577What else do you want from the OT, they've made everythingalready.
>>11774634>real AnakinGet out
>>11774639Let him have this he will probably not be around much longer
>>11774649I'll outlive you, queerboy.
>cut paint apps>bootleg cloth goods
>>11774546Goddamn, this is the most excited I've ever been to see Carth. Time to rumble!
>>11774663On clearance no less!
>>11774569Swol Koon
>>11774530Wait they are redoing them for this new body? That makes me happy if so. The old body was what had me avoid buying them.>>11774546So nice.>>11774534It has to be only a matter of time. They have the parts, shouldn't be difficult to do.
>>11774638I can think of a number of OT characters/costumes that could use updates. No different than most PT shit at this point, though.
>>11774674I don't think they'll ever stop making OT characters as toys. It is good to take a break by letting other branches get a chance. Disney barely acknowledges some of this stuff we're seeing so its nice to be getting it at all. Updated OT stuff will have to be patient. It took a long to get a new Sandtrooper. We'll get more updated figures no doubt about it.
>>11774636>even a clone wars version would’ve been preferable to this towel with a lightsaberIt isn't great. It doesn't look terrible without the robe but I'm not sure what they're basing it on, or maybe they just didn't think people would remove it.
>>11774673>They have the parts, shouldn't be difficult to doWhat parts do they have for HK-47? Don't think any existing droid parts would be accurate
>>11774685I understand the anxiety given the periled state of Star Wars and action figures in general. New takes on Bespin Luke and Yoda would be nice, but more than anything I just want a good TESB Han with a good Ford likeness; the last one isn't bad but nailing it would be my dream. Then Hasbro in its entirety can atrophy to nothing for all I care. They're very hit and miss with face sculpts, though. In some ways I think they're even less consistent than they were 16 years ago. It's quite possible that an update would be more fun to handle but look worse than this one.
>>11774686>I'm not sure what they're basing it on, or maybe they just didn't think people would remove itlike I said I think they based it off the old ROTS toy but not sure how accurate that was. It's hard to find costume references from the movies online but Hasbro probably has some to use
>>11774685>>11774701When they showed the new HTTE Luuke (which looks pretty bad), I thought how much I would have preferred a new Bespin Luke instead
>>11774546>first traya and nihilus >now mission and carthkotor bros...we're finally back
>>11774698Nevermind I am dumb. I saw the HK-87 droid figure and thought it had the same body as HK-47 without looking at it with any detail.I went 'neat! maybe HK-47 next' and moved on without a single thought.
>>11774755Too bad the figures have been kinda crap.
>>11774674But are any of them updates you want to spend $21 on?
>>11774766do you mean the selection or the quality?i think revan, bastila, and malak are all pretty decent figures, even if revan is dated these daystraya and the new nihilus look goodbut zaalbar and the og nihilus are pretty weak, yeahthough now that i think about it, it's strange that they're doing a mission and carth pack instead of pairing mission with zaalbar
>>11774585seethe lmao
Really bothers me how ugly the Z-6 with Thorn is. No idea why it is such a light gray instead of a darker color and the proportions look off somehow. The one with the TVC Fallen Order stormtrooper was good, I wish this looked like that. Probably not going to get Thorn because of how ridiculous it looks. I hope they improve it and make a Battlefront 2 heavy
>>11774550Honestly with how slow they are with certain easy repaints (we still don't have battle droid ranks), I wouldn't be surprised if they don't redo Delta squad at least not for a couple years. I bet next one will be the Kamino royal guard then Gregor.
>>11774628this is probably the greatest AI slop I've ever seen
>>11774769Just a new Tarkin and TESB stuff at this point. New Bespin Luke and Han, assuming they didn't screw the pooch, would be nice. A good in-scale Yoda (even if it meant less articulation with a sculpted robe) would be good, too, especially if they fleshed it out with some good accessories. That's about it, though. I don't care much about the prequels and never have, though there are things I'd like to see.
>>11773691Looking at the video, it looks pretty good, but they kind of overshot with the price imo. Also, a bunch of women and kids who wanted a Baby Yoda already got this one and there's a whole market on Etsy of custom outfits for him, so I don't know how well this one will do.
>>11774861>Thorn>Disney characterSeriously, get some new material dude. You can even just use ChatGPT to come up with it for you.
>>11774907You should take your own advice
>>11774881Looks like ass. Not at all worth the money. Not that anyone that buys Grogu crap is a fan anyway.
>>11774963Real fans would know that half of the characters he bitches about existed before the Disney takeover.
>more clone commanders with no generic infantry to serve under themthis shit really triggers my autism.
What the hell is going on with Mission’s arms?
>>11774989she's got long armsit seems accurate to her in game model thoughit might look a bit off because the boots on the figure go up higher than on the og model though, but from what i can tell the proportions are more or less the same
>>11774979I'm begging you, just stop embarrassing yourself like this.>Commander Thorn first appearance - The Clone Wars "The Rise of Clovis">Filoni first revealed an image of Thorn on his Facebook page on May 14, 2012 and stated that the character would appear in The Clone Wars: Season Five[...]>"Following the original airing order from Star Wars Insider 134, "The Rise of Clovis" was to be the sixth episode of Season Five, but this was later revised to "A Test of Strength.">Season Five First aired September 29, 2012>Disney announced its acquisition of Lucasfilm, the production company behind Star Wars, on October 30, 2012, and completed the deal on December 21, 2012.

Shitposters don't care about facts, guys. Stop wasting your time and energy.
>>11775115go back to /pol retard
>>11774989Probably because they kitbashed parts together. That ab crunch means it's the Aphra/Jaina/Mara torso, maybe arms are from one of them too. Same thing happened with the Ahsoka Anakin they gave him new arms that looked too long with his reused legs
>>11773687face looks like rey
>be black series designer>working on clone commando>"Okay the fans were not happy with the Hunter repaints we kept making, this time let's get this iconic fan favorite from entertainment right.">pull up battlefront 2 on second monitor to use as reference while sculpting>sculpt everything then get to the arms>"Fuck, in this pose I can't see what the front of the biceps and forearms are supposed to look like">"Uhhh... whatever I'll just mirror the back part"This might be the most retarded and laziest thing I have ever seen from the black series team. I have defended them before when people call them lazy because I know there are a lot of passionate and hard working people there and often times flaws are a result of budget constraints. But you can't use the budget excuse here. This was pure laziness. They absolutely could have found more references to sculpt this correctly and chose not to. And now I can't unsee this and it pisses me off. Imagine doing guesswork on something like this. It's not like it was some obscure glup shitto that appeared in one frame of A New Hope and there are no costume references so you have to make something up. Commando armor is very well documented by clone autists who are currently melting down because of this.
I am so fucking tired of clones. This line is goddamn stale as can be. Even when they do an alien, it's the fucking boring ass twi'lek. Fuck off. Give me real aliens. Give me real droids. This whole fucking line sucks.
>>11775167we're getting a kaminoan, geonosian, and watto later this yeari agree that the line has been lacking for a while though, part of me wishes they'd just make a few generic characters using shit they already have and for the droids, there is no reason they haven't made every r2 - r5 droid in tbs at this point with the new body, and all the protocol droids on the newer 3p0/ 4lom body
>>11775206what, you want a new bossk and more ewoks?granted the old bossk was shitty back then too so a new one would be appreciated
>>11775208He doesn’t want anything he just wants to complain
>>11775208>what, you want a new bossk and more ewoks?Yeah, actually. That would be nice. But we won't get 'em because here's another batch of shit clone attempts.
>>11774720I still haven't opened the Heir to the Empire three pack, but fuck it, I'll take this too. I'll buy anything Thrawn Trilogy related, now give us some damn Noghri.
>>11775241They have to sell the clones in order to pay to make the aliens that no one ever buys.
>>11775260the past couple aliens have been pretty niche, which is likely why they don't sell amazingly getting taun we and watto is cool and all, but i don't expect them to sell gangbusters i think the jedi aliens do alright though
>>11775272Yeah but he specifically wants OT aliens. I just don't know what would be left that they could really even do besides a Weequay and a Nikto from Jabba's Palace. They've pretty much done all of the heavy hitters and when they try Cantina characters, nobody buys them. Black Series is just really not the line if you want the Glups. You're better off sticking with TVC for that, especially when the all new versions are pretty much on par with their 6" counterparts anyways.
>>11775283i think the issue is that most ot aliens are deluxes, which put people off the nadon and gammorian were decent figures, but hard to justify the price for what you get if they were all standard releases i'm sure they'd do alright
>>11774775to be fair i got my zaalbar last year for like 10 bucks on ebay, its pretty accessible
>>11774775Everyone complains about Zaalbar, but I honestly think he's fine. Yeah, he looks retarded, but so did his character portrait and in game model.
>>11775325his 3d model looked way too doglike
>>11774569Ready for his Robot Chicken sketch.
>>11774569I know he never took it off in the movies but I'm still let down how this came out underneath the cloak. It just looks odd. And hopefully because this is a prototype, the final version will improve the soft goods at least so there won't be as much desire to remove them. As is it looks like he's being swallowed by a bedsheet. I know they can do better because they have in the past. I'd still like to see a proper Clone Wars style one down the road soon.
>>11774530Damn this actually looks Peak. Hopefully it turns out as good as it looks and they do all of Delta Squad on this body.
>>11774530They better overproduce these so I'm not having to fight scalpers.
>>11775387maybe plo kept going commando under the robes and they finally got on his case about it and this was the compromise
I'm glad we're getting some of the factory workers too but it's bugging my autism that Hasbro's using the wrong head for them. For some reason they've decided to exclusively use the Geonosian face with tusks for all their figures, even though the only Geonosians that have tusks are warriors and even then it's uncommon.
>>11775551Are the new TVC all going up on the 4th? I find it hard to keep track of Hasbro stuff anymore since they will pipeline shit a year in advance and then drop special action sets or 4 packs out of nowhere with no warning.
>>11775556Yeah, most of this stuff is going up on the 4th
>>11775559Thanks. Even though I have mostly pivoted to collecting Lego now I still autistically buy up all of the new TVC releases even though I don't even have room to display them now. I guess I feel FOMO and that one of these days when I have a space big enough I can finally display what I have been collecting for years.
>>11775556>Are the new TVC all going up on the 4th?Yeah, except for the Ventress set
>>11775206The only gay thing here is your posts faggot.
>>11775551They can't have a release now that isn't fucked up and wrong now. They just don't care.
>>11775551Why is the Star Wars line plagued with so much inaccuracy? So many times they gush about all the details they added, how they closely worked with Lucasfilm and got their hands on archive props to nail the details, etc. Yet so much other stuff they get wrong. They are clearly capable of doing things right so it's really frustrating to see when they half ass things like this and the clone commando. I guess some workers are not as passionate about Star Wars as others and don’t care and just want to turn something in as fast as possible.
so there is hope for a visas figure
>>11775726will probably take them 5 years with the current pace but yeah
>>11775726I wish we were getting regular old Kreia with a removable arm instead of Traya
>>11775551>>11775632>>11775671It's weird that they went out of their way to give the picador an accurate harness but still gave him the wrong head
>>11775816given that traya is just a recoloured kreia, i'd imagine that a kreia figure isn't too far off
>>11775993It's not that weird when you remember that TVC is operating on essentially a shoestring budget compared to BS. Frankly I think we're lucky that we're even getting as much variation with the Geonosians as is. Considering they are not only doing multiple costumes for them, but for the most part they had to tool up different bodies as well. In pic related, you can see Poggle has a lot of unique details to him not only in costume but on his actual body, so essentially there is very little reuse between the two. In fact I would wager to say the only thing that is shared between them are the wings and maybe the thighs. If they make their money on these releases now, then they will likely be able to tool up the alternate head for a Geonosian on a single card down the road if people pester them enough about it. Frankly I haven't really seen anyone talking about the tusks being an issue except here in this thread. Honestly I didn't even know there was a difference and I watch AOTC a lot. Most of the Geonosians on screen are blurry due to motion or are shown far away and from behind. There's I think two or three shots of them that we see them head on and clear, but for the most part it's usually Poggle that's getting the focus when it comes to their species.
>>11776063I don't think most people will care, not many people are autistic about their bug men like me
>>11776133Hey I understand Anon. We all have our thing when it comes to this stuff. Like I said, the best chance of getting a new head would be to try and get the community behind it to make it known to Hasbro. People already did that with the Clone Commander's helmet stripe being incorrect and Chris Reiff already said they will make sure it's corrected before final production. And we saw the same thing when it came to Sabine's helmet and swappable heads in general. I bet a lot of people would support it because it might even be new to them that there should be a different head for the drones. I'll even start bringing it up to a few of the TVC communities I frequent that the brand team engages with.
>>11774864It's cosplay, actually. Damn good one too. Here's hoping for a Kreia.
>>11776063Maybe they should've not fucked Star Wars up and they'd have a better budget.
>>11776063I didn't even really notice it either but I'm skipping through AOTC and it's one of those things I can't unsee now. The only one I even noticed with tusks was the one chaining Anakin and that's one of the only times we get a really good long closeup look at one of them so that's probably why the team focused on it.
>>11776151Thanks, though at this point I'm glad we're getting Geonosians at all, for years I thought nobody at Hasbro was interested in them. I can understand why people wouldn't notice, like you said we don't get many clear shots of them. About the only time we get a good shot of a non-tusked one is that first guy that stands alert when Dooku walks by. As the other anon mentioned, the one that chains Anakin to the post is the most noteworthy and clear shot of one in the movie so I'm not surprised they used that as a reference.
>>11776173I agree. It's good to get some more CIS representation that isn't just the droids. And to get them all at once too is really nice. Although I am still hoping for an all new B2 from this campaign, along with updated arms on the B-1 that can actually hold its blaster.
>You versus the guy she tells you not to worry about
>>11776218really makes you wonder what the point of doing delta squad variants on the old body was
Wasn't really imagining the 1/18 aliexpress bootleg seller would ever approach these troopers with how much more paint work these guys require compared to the average clone armor pattern, but I'm extremely happy they did - the colors are spot-on perfect, the camo pattern looks great, they even have the EAFrontII Assault-class-specific striping on the chest. Unfortunately the other 41st Rangers trooper variants being sold also all have the Assault-class-specific striping on the chest, which makes them all slightly worse accuracy-wise, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for the perfect Phase II 41st Rangers Assault trooper, which this absolutely is.
>>11776261Money.
>>11776218Still not right. I can ignore the biceps but the forearms make me want to cry. They even flipped the buttons and put them on the right arm instead of left. How can the sculptor be this retarded… >>11776261Because at the time it was cheaper to just do a repaint than make an all new sculpt. But if they had made the new sculpt then done all the repaints they would’ve gotten their money's worth on the tooling so it never made sense.>>11776324Those are pretty cool
>>11776355>But if they had made the new sculpt then done all the repaints they would’ve gotten their money's worth on the tooling so it never made sense.I think they figured fans would be satisfied with the Hunter body reuse and think "well they're not gonna make a new sculpt so we'll take it" and didn't anticipate how many people would call them out on this shit
>>11776218Goddamn am I glad I passed on the first attempt. I like the Republic Commando novels more than the games to be honest, but I'll definitely pick up the new Deltas.
>>11775166I'm going to make you even more mad because they didn't just mirror the front to the back on the bicep armor. The other side has a completely different sculpt to it, but IT'S STILL WRONG. At least it's a closer approximation... They mentioned it has a bicep swivel so you could at least flip it around and hope it doesn't look to awkward or fuck with the range of the elbow too much. Can't excuse the forearms though.>>11776261I'm just fucking mad I bought them all the first time. Thankfully Boss was the only one I paid full price for but still, to so quickly turn around and redo them completely is a real kick in the dick. They should at least throw us a bone and not include the different DC-17m configurations with the new ones; that way those of us with the first batch can at least salvage those from them and not feel totally cheated.
Between the new RC sculpt and what's going on with the Geonosians it's amazing that the Hasbro team has a lot of genuine attention to detail and has people working there that do have genuine passion for the material and a drive to get it right and somehow still makes some baffling mistakes that make no senseI mean presumably these guys are working with actual official reference material, access to models, artwork, etc and aren't just relying on whatever screenshots they found by doing a GIS
>>11776447This isn't a bug, it's a feature of toy collecting. All the companies do it across all lines. Whether it's Star Wars, Marvel Legends, TMNT, DC Multiverse, etc. You think they aren't capable of being accurate or able to hire sculptors that could get a perfect Ford or Hamill likenesses despite that higher end companies like Hot Toys can do it or guys who sculpt and print heads as a hobby out on their basement? Nah, they absolutely can. But why get your money once when they know they can get it five times over a few years
>>11776447>it's amazing that the Hasbro team has a lot of genuine attention to detail and has people working there that do have genuine passion for the materialThey don't, though. They just fake it, theyvwear Star Wars shirts. That's it. They aren't fans at all.

>>11776522anon it’s been 6 years since a figure of rey was made you’ve gotta grow up

>>11776441Idk man it’s mind boggling. Kaminoancustoms also pointed out the elbow pad has random lines on it like what were they even referencing to put those on there??As for the blasters, nah it would suck if the new Scorch and Sev didn’t come with a grenade launcher and sniper. People who got the old set are just going to have to take the L. Definitive (or at least close) versions coming out making your old versions obsolete happens all the time in toy collecting, it is what it is. But like I said above it could be a couple years before they redo Delta. Kamino royal guard and Gregor are probably next. Plenty of time to sell off the old ones and save like $120 for a new set>>11776485They do this with Transformers where they release another version with better/more accurate paint apps to make you double dip. But with Star Wars, I’m starting to think the sculptors are just shit. There is stuff they are good at like cloth textures and even likenesses are pretty good most of the time, they just aren’t painted enough to bring the full potential of the sculpt out. But they keep fucking up clone armor. They’ve resculpted the helmet how many times in both scales? It shouldn’t be that hard to just look at some screen caps and model it accurately like 3D printer customizers do. Or maybe they are getting some weird ass references from Lucasfilm. They know how autistic we are about clone armor so just do it right and no one would complain

>>11776971The "people" who like Andor don't buy toys.
>>11776971rogue one has always had a stable amount of supporters, more than the other sequels at the very least, but yeah the stuff doesn't sell super great, likely due to not having many toyish designs ouside of the uwing andor has more fans, but they're not the type of people who will go out and buy toys of the characters it's probably infuriating to the execs, they have made shit people like but they'll only get a little bit of money for it instead of the millions they hoped for, simply due to the nature of it

>>11778124where the fuck were you that you didn't know the reveals would be on friday and the preorders were going up todaydo you just not check any of the collecting sites
>>11778124I would try checking Yakface or other sites around or before May 4th next year. I noticed that although people sometimes post news, usually the people here are assuming you already are up to date with releases and news, and then come here to talk. Not saying I am entitled to news, but this place isn't the most reliable for it. I am guessing some unmoderated posters scared off other posters, so they may have migrated elsewhere.I go to Yakface and (sadly) the subreddit if I want to check on news/releases. They seem more on top of things.https://yakfaceforums.com/main/2026/05/04/affiliate-news-may-the-fourth-preorders/Btw that yakface article says Amazon, EE, etc. but I saw some of those up on BBTS so not sure how strict the exclusivities really are.
>>11778124Brother, it was literally in the second post of this thread. If you missed it then that's on you.
>>11778090I honestly wish it didn't, it just feels like an excuse to jack up the price. Not saying it isn't cool, but I feel like I would look at it only a couple times before never using that feature again. I have a lot of fond memories of the Disney World ride, but at $350, I'm forced to do something I rarely do since I started collecting toys and just say to myself 'actually, I'm good with just my memory of the thing'.
>>11778138BBTS is part of the fan channel so they will always get that stuff. YakFace just usually doesn't link to them anymore because he's an affiliate of EE and Amazon and gets a commission if you buy through his links.
>>11778169To be fair, the first one was based on the original ride and had the white and blue paintjob and the original footage, and in that scenario I feel it was justified since that footage can't really be seen any other way. I just watched a review on the reissue and it has 3 scenarios from the current ride. But doesn't even do the 3rd Darth Vader security stop variation because they decide "oh we did that in the other D3 only limited edition version so good enough" which kind of sucks. Also the review I watched noted that his front blaster mechanism had issues and broke almost immediately (the spring mechanism wasn't working so he attempted to force it open, breaking the tabs that hold it in place) and, instead of rubber, the seat belts are fabric elastic straps which wears out very quickly in my experience.
>>11778171Oh, that is what Fan Channel means. Thank you, that makes more sense in context. I always go to BBTS or Amazon, so it always confused me when I saw a set listed as being on EE and then seeing it listed on BBTS or Amazon too.
>>11778124>I can't believe I tried to stay up for 24 hours for thistrolling or literally born yesterday?
>>11778204Yep. Fan Channel by default will mean Pulse + BBTS, EE, and GameStop. Amazon for some reason is not always included, so they will usually say "fan channel + Amazon".
Disney and Hasbro want you to care about the Eleventh Brother and the 33rd Sister and the 85th Mother.

>>11778498very inquisitive
>>11778505A 2nd copy is definitely not excessive, I went for 4 of them and have absolutely no regrets. Posted these images a while back when the hallway was newer, but I'll take the excuse to post 'em again
>>11778536>>11778537Excellent. I'm glad they made this set. I'm hoping we'll get a more standard Imperial gray version next year for the anniversary that's modeled after the Death Star hallways. I would try and pick up one a month just to get several and combine them with the 3D printed ones I have so I can make a huge corridor.>>11778546Awesome shot Anon.
>>11778536Under 30's a pretty great price for these, if you can swing another 2 to get 4 I think it's super worth it, but 2 is still very good too - and takes up a lot less space, of course. This last image is only 2 of my 4 since with the far door closed you can't see the extra pieces from the 3rd and 4th hallways, and there's still a lot you can do with it.
>>11778553Ah that'd be sweet, more backdrops for all manner of scenes and posing. Hopefully a source of more troopers or things like mousedroids and set dressing too.>>11778546>>11778548>>11778558Ah I remember these, I think I got you to post em when I asked about the hallways a while ago, excellent shots. I am tempted for a few more with the current prices, but the starwars sales this may 4th have been excellent and pricey. Even so, hard to pass up. As for set dressing, there's no chance of scoring a hovertank for those crates, does anyone have a line on decent decor/accessory makers or sellers? Some 3d print sellers out there but the finished product is ropey at best, though black series scale boxes may do well when stacked for cover.
>>11778568Black series scale printed boxes that is, not figure boxes
>>11778568NTA but check out Hole in the Ground Productions. He's got a variety of worldbuilding stuff like that. You have to paint them obviously, which most could just be done with some spray paint and a simple wash, but the quality of the casts/prints themselves is fantastic.
>>11778536Oh uh, I meant that I'd like to split it with you, if you were trying to buy a second, and didn't want another of that figure, but $30 is probably worth just buying it myself ....(Im in America, though, so nevermind, shipping across the pond negates any possible savings on my end lol)

>>11778776iirc no, there's just a dead body strung up with the accusation that he was a jedi they've gotten a handful of implied kills, but we've never actually seen onewhich is really strange considering these are the guys who's job it is to hunt down jedi, and it's not like on screen deaths aren't allowed because we see them die and vader kill jedi

>>11779365>get to teach an anon about the OG DarktroopersSweet. The original Darktrooper had 3 phases: Phase 1 was the robot skeletal phase, Phase 2 was more like a traditional Stormtrooper armor, and Phase 3 was like a pumped Stormtrooper, pic related. There was also a Phase 0 which was more like Stormtroopers turned into cyborgs (they show up in the original Battlefront 2).The Phase 3 got a 3.75" figure early on, shown in your pic. Later all 3 phases got figures, with the Phase 3 being a BAF. That stupid wave was stupid hard to find and I sometimes think about going back to buy it now that I have money. Then later Disney made their own take on the Dark Trooper (no phases, only that one iteration), which is also seen in your pic.
>>11779511Forgot the picI really hope Hasbro makes a Black Series version of one (or even all) of these some day. Phase zero would be great too.
>>11776324 Nice. I would rather have some 1/18 Scouts with this paint job.
>>11779511The BAF is also way bigger (and probably a bit more game accurate) than the old POTF2 mold
Honestly bros, I was thinking about the May 4 reveals again and as someone that grew up in the PT era, I was hit by a huge wave of nostalgia. I remembered the good old days when I used to post on Star Wars message boards and all the new reveals are basically the things we used to fanboy about back then. Like Satele Shan, how many times did we watch the legendary KOTOR cinematics? And everyone wanted that lego battlepack for the cool old republic troopers. Republic Commando was the coolest shit too and everyone loved the katarn class armor and debating what kind of damage it could survive. The fan channel TVC wave with the clone commander, plo koon, old Anakin, feels like a lineup from TAC or Legacy Collection. And the SDCC Anakin and Ventress set is like the realistic style line of figures they did for 2003 CW, only better. They even showed a vehicle with the AT-RT which used to be very common back then but not as much now.I wish I could go back to that time :(
>>11779989damn it I forgot the picture
>>11779989I unfortunately missed out on a lot of that because from 99 to 04 I wasn't really buying toys anymore. It wasn't until Revenge of the Sith came out I bought a VotC Boba Fett and a green jedi starfighter that I got casually back into it.

>>11780647Dang bro sorry to hear that.
A great sorrow has fallen over the star wars collecting community. For hasbro has not long left to finish the line satisfactorily, with every essential character represented
>>11780859What's the nothingburger this time?
>>11780896Hasbro and Disney are no longer making sequel toys. So no updated Kylo Rens, Finn, or Poe with face print tech and updated bodies or any of the background characters. Toy companies finally amdmitted sale were shit for sequel toys after the first movie. Disney coming to terms with this. Merchandising was a big part of the purchase from Lucas and it failed to deliver with KK at the helm. Mando and Feloni is actually what kept SW afloat in merchandising.
>>11780647Well Anon, maybe you should stop buying toys for a bit and save your money so you can move to a better place.
>>11780960>So no updated Kylo Rens, Finn, or Poe with face print tech and updated bodies or any of the background charactersBut that's a good thing? The previous comment made it sound like Hasbro was going to stop making Star Wars toys.Anyway I doubt they will NEVER make a single sequel fig in the future. We'll probably get a Kylo or something eventually. The movies are still canon. And also they aren't the only problem because we can get another Acolyte at any time with another glut of pegwarmers to acompany it. Even Mando stuff doesn't sell now. So even if they never make sequel merch again, they will keep making stuff for other shows and movies that are shit and it won't sell just the same.
>>11780960Meh, the only loss on our part would be a kylo ren/Ben solo figure, of which, I think, a comprehensive "one Ren to rule them all" WOULD sell.Specifically, a deluxe figure with soft goods outer coat, soft plastic hood and shawl thingy, two of each helmed and unhelmed heads (one clean, the other scarred/rebuilt), a soft plastic cape, and his lightsaber (plus hilt), of course. To further justify the deluxe, add in the melted bader helm, and the exigol wayfinder. In both BS and TVC.Personally, an updated articulation First Order trooper could also do well enough, and you can kind of also do a deluxe version in a similar fashion; has every gear a FO trooper had (pauldron, ammo harness, energized baton, standard rifle, heavy rifle, pistol), a clean, normal helmet head, plus a fin head to be a character as well as an army builder, and maybe a blood streaked helmet head. They're definitely the best two characters of the sequels, and are at least toyetic, in my opinion.
I still want a TROS Palpatine just because I like his look
>>11780600I realized a while ago that there just aren't many characters in Star Wars that I like. Maybe there's some decent characters in EU, I only read through a fraction of it. But without actually seeing them in something visual, I'm not sure I care enough to want figures of them. Currently most of my favorite characters besides ones from the movies are from the Jedi games. So yeah TVC Dagan would be nice. I guess I'd want Caij Vanda more. I think her design is really cool.
>>11780997That's how I feel also, glad I've only been getting favorite's.I feel bad for people who wanna collect all of them that's gonna be so expensive.
>>11780960>Hasbro and Disney are no longer making sequel toysIs there a source for this?If this is true, then I don't think there is anything wrong with taking a break from under-performing toys. Its fine to take a break and focus on other stuff in the franchise. When they do make updated sequel figures (may be a while), then I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. Better figures of Kylo Ren, Finn, and Poe will then be welcome when they eventually do happen.
>>11780600I'd love that so much. I hate that we have pretty much zero villains from the game besides trooper variants. No Inquisitors, no Rayvis, no Dagan, no Bode. It really feels like a big chunk is missing from that game in TVC. Fuck I'd be so happy just to get some Bedlam Raiders or Haxion Brood hunters. The third game is going to be out this year supposedly and we still won't even have a JFO Cal or his main villains in the line. Sucks.>>11780997This would also be great to get but I've pretty my much accepted that the only way to ever have her will be with a custom. Unless she shows up in some show down the line as a main character.
>>11781212They're down to single jointed knees and elbows now. What will they be in a few years? No boot cuts, thigh cuts or wrist swivels? I mean who needs a wrist swivel when you can swivel at the elbow right? Same reason they don't need bicep cuts.
>>11781212>Is there a source for this?Umm... Your eyes? When was the last time they made a sequel figure?
>>11781287NTA, but they randomly made Finn a while ago. Literally everybody was like y tho lol
>>11781238Well to be fair, they're adding bicep swivels now.
>>11778399Why are him and Marrok suddenly some of the coolest motherfuckers in Maul? >>11781365That IS cool
>>11781381>human flesh armsWhat in tarnation
>>11781403I think it was a case of the figure being made early, so they didn't know or learned too late. They fixed it for the deluxe bike figure.
>>11781348>It’s legit the first time in years that I watched something that truly felt like Star Wars to me bros. It’s like there was a dying part of me yearning to have these lightsaber duels with dark armored guys backhow much is the mouse paying you?
>>11781403All of those figures were produced well in advance of the actual character debut. They were running on concept art. That whole Clone Wars wave was a kitbash festival of weird toyetic stuff. It was honestly kind of refreshing.
>>11781507Nothing. But I’m not gonna argue if my standards got lower over the decade.I’m a starving man in a desert that most of my childhood franchises got infiltrated by retards or borderline died out (pic related, they KNEW this was a bad idea and it shows since they didn’t put this fucker in any trailers until near end). By this point it doesn’t take much water for me to enjoy something.Seriously the only sci-fi series I can praise for going beyond the original is
Blaster Master Zero.
Ironic considering that series was the one that struggled and got a really good comeback.
>>11781707It's too bad but also surprising to me that there isn't a substitute for Star Wars. There is nothing quite like it. I just filled the void with anime and my own space fantasy worldbuilding project but it's not the same feeling as how it used to feel to be a star wars fan. Even if something new comes along that is similar, it's limited content will not compare to the decades of lore star wars had and you would consume it quickly and be left starving again
Question for anyone that has the figures or if multiple anons can help me figure this one out.Would it be possible to headswap tvc night sister merrin onto Reva's body? do they share the same neck joint or is it updated on merrin?
>>11781715Agreed
I genuinely don't understand why you guys just don't ignore the Disney and sequel shit and just enjoy the franchise as if that stuff never existed. That's what I do and I'm not nearly as much of a pessimist about it. Does it bum me out to see that the Star Wars toy section is basically nothing now? Yeah. But I can still get enjoyment out of the parts of the franchise I originally fell in love with. Not sure why so many of you would rather just bitch and moan and cry about how you don't like the new shit. Just fucking ignore it.
>>11781803It's not that it's hard to ignore, but rather, it's hard NOT to lament what could have been.
>>11781792or if you have a merrin or reva, could you get some photos of their neck pegs, or whatever way the head pegs on please (though dont stress or pull things off for me if that isnt something you normally do, I wouldnt want someone risking stress or breakage for this)

Even that's not a huge difference since a lot of the same people who now praise Lucas spent years shitting on the prequels and insisting they didn't count. It doesn't matter. >>11783744>Yeah Star Wars is a prime example of why you need to gatekeep and what happens if you don't.Disney was going to make it anyway. What are you even talking about? Star Wars is one of the biggest IP's on the planet and Disney completely fucked it up. How can you even gatekeep Star Wars? No one cares about the ST and it's completely forgotten about in 2026. What Disney did for their "trilogy" was tragic, but it's not like the mouse wasn't going to cram it down out throats anyway. They aren't doing anything ST related and it's been 10 years since the Force Awakens. Take it as a win Anon. Even they know it was a failure as and endless money maker when the PT is making money hand over fist, after the backlash it got 20 - 30 years ago.

But I actually like this more than the sandtrooper since the armor on that was a more yellow ish while this is more of a bone white. I don't have the standard stormtrooper anymore but that one always felt a little boring to me. Crazy how much more character a simple pauldron and dirty armor adds even though it's the exact same sculpt. I don't like customizing so I hope hasbro makes more weathered troopers like clones or a new remnant scout trooper on a new body would be sick.
Are we getting a 3.75 TVC version? I'm getting sick and tired of this black series bullshit

>>11784341>>11783992The details really pop with all the dirt and grime on the new Imperial Remnant Stormtroopers . It also feels more OT in that way, since the universe always had that same grimy feel.
>>11783228I've been loving all of the troopers for TM&G that I've got in TVC so far. Granted the Snowtrooper was already a solid figure so throwing a new head on that one was an easy win but the AT-AT and AT-RT Drivers are both really cool too. Probably gonna pick up the Remnant Stormtrooper pack in a month or two. What an amazing concept it is to have toys out before the media to help build hype.

>>11785249>>11785250oof
>>11784492When the economy tanks we'll go back to 3.75 standard like we did in 2008.
>>11785509What are you talking about? 3.75 was already standard for Star Wars in 2008. It is not standard now because both scales cost Hasbro almost the same to make yet 1/12 has a higher profit margin so they choose to focus on that. Collector tastes have changed too with most favoring bigger figures and 3.75 collectors are a minority. So 3.75 has a higher likelihood of being killed off completely than becoming standard. Even if your imaginary scenario magically happens, they will cost $30-40 and no one will buy them.
>>11785572But everything else started to go 3.75 as well. Marvel started focusing on that scale with the Universe line and movie tie ins. Movie franchises started releasing in that scale (Avatar, Terminator Salvation, Star Trek, etc). G.I. Joe was making the pivot from Sigma Six scale back to 3.75 as well.
Hot Toys continuing to be absolutely fucking based
>>11785585>back to 3.75What was the scale before that? Or was it random sizes? Didn't Kenner basically pioneer 3.75"?
>>11785619>What was the scale before that?If you're asking specifically about Joes, Sigma Six was an 8" toyline to begin with and then started doing vehicles released with the smaller scaled figures.>Didn't Kenner basically pioneer 3.75"?Sort of. When they first pitched the line internally, the designers were asked how big would the people be and someone held out their fingers spaced apart and said "about this big" and someone came up and measured it to be 3.75". When they went on to building prototypes, they famously used figures from Fisher-Price's Adventure People as the base to make Luke Skywalker because they happened to be the same scale and have similar articulation.
>>11783598What this guy>>11783744 said. For example, there are people who like the prequels, cgi shows like CW or Rebels or the disney stuff more than the ot. I think everything other than the ot is shit. I can't stand the animation style of the cgi shows. >DirgeFake fans can't even spell his name.
>>11785619>>11785695In the 60s and 70s, 1/6 scale was the norm. G.I. Joe, Action Man, Big Jim, and the Million Dollar Man to name a few. Basically following the Barbie business model but rebranding as action figures so boys would buy them. Kenner saw the potential for merchandizing vehicles for Star Wars, but to do them in 1/12 scale wasn't feasible. The head of the project did, in fact, hold his fingers at a random size and 3.75 became their scale. In the 80s, Hasbro followed suit with G.I. Joe to directly compete with Star Wars and due to the expense of producing 1/12 scale products.

why haven't they been milking mando stuff for the movie? Thought they would release all the ships and shit. It just has a very small set up at a local store. I know stuff is way different today, but still kinda sad.
>>11788061>but still kinda sad. That's Star Wars in a nutshell. The movie is apparently terrible, and Hasbro is still struggling to make any money off Star Wars merch and failing. They can't take risks anymore.
>>11788071The time between Ep3 and the Clone Wars animated series now seems like a golden age of star wars collecting in retrospect. It's like as soon as Disney took over, the toyline took a major hit in selection, quality, and availability and is only recently recovering.Kind of similar to how the first years of Hasbro taking over Marvel Legends went. A few years of bad sculpts and terrible Y hips.
>>11788061Disney have always given hasbro and lego so little to work with pre-release (that in turn caused blunders or inaccurate releases) citing leak potential, which is funny because I think the second or third disney wars movie had its entire script leak online before release. But all of that and the years of shelf warming and disney dictating what gets made to hasbro and declining sales, stores are hesitant to take on sw stuff now I think, certainly feels like it. Disney stuff has also been tragic at incorperating marketable designs bar mando, and right now stores and collectors are trying their hardest to move mando stock that has been sitting around. Ill omens aplenty. (But very good deals to be had with things priced to clear)
>>11788061They seem to be playing it safe with the merch this time, yeah there's still a lot of it but the rollout is muted compared to previous movies. I think Disney is trying not to go too hard on the marketing or even the budget for the movie in case it's a flop. That might save it from potentially being a Solo-level disaster since they clearly put a lot more money into Solo.
>>11788071And yet they made those retarded ass toys that continue to rot on shelves; who wants those 1' tall mando figures?? The 5" scale figures?? Bro just stick to the fucking 3.75" and 6" lines that you have BEEN selling!!!
>>11788099To be fair, I think it was the same on pre-release for Prequel era toys. I believe the Kelloggs cereal Mace Windu and a battle droid with a STAP were the only pre-release figures before the main Phantom Menace line released.
>>11788207Oh, also the pod race announcer figure in the mainline had heads based on early production concepts where they were going to superimpose actor's heads on a cgi body.
>>11788207>>11788208

DO IT JAZWARES
>>11788438Realistically how do they even handle this? Do they just make the main pod itself without the sail like Lego did? Do they compromise on the size of the sail like the old Action Fleet one? Even if they make the sail out of foldable vinyl or something they'd still need to include really long rods to hold it in place.
>>11788445The sail could be 8 peices that peg together with there own stand, then some string to connect the pod to the sails and the pod has its own stand aswell. The string probably wouldnt be as complicated as the real thing, maybe just two Y shaped strings.
I would kill for capital ship Micro Galaxy Squadron
>>11788463would you even have space for it?
>>11788466I don't need exact scale, just a model that's a foot long or so with panels to open inside like a cross section
>>11788445>>11788454I figure if they do it at all it'll just be like Lego and not include the sail at all since there's basically no good solution that doesn't make the sail either really weird looking or ridiculously undersized. Whatever solution they'd go with would have to seriously compromise on the size since an actual properly scaled sail would be like 5 feet long.
>you now remember acolyte toysI had never seen modern star wars stuff go on sale so fast (until skeleton crew stuff releasing to what felt like sale prices before I had even seen it)
>>11788489It's a shame because that show was good and pretty popular too. If I knew there was gonna be more of it, I'd definitely be interested in getting the toys.
>>11788425Damn. Pics?
>>11788438Never understood how this thing works? There's no air in space.
>>11788716see:>>11788711nah they're just cluttering up space on my bedroom's closet shelves, they're not set up in an photogenic way or anythingI'd like to get more, but I've got, at most, space for one or two more and I want to make hold off until it's something I NEED (like a 6th Y-wing)
>>11788716Solar wind, it's an actual concept though a real solar sail would have to be incredibly wide in order to move at a fast speed
Picked up the sparkle dog mandalorian with her awoo, and I'm a bit bummed that she has no jetpack :((It's OK, I have a spare from a Din that I accidentally broke. It'll be a little bit big on her, but it should work)Gonna add some holsters to the doggy saddle, as well. Also picked up baby carrier droid, and my head cannon is that it's a droid made to carry and protect the baby, rather than piloted by it (the controls don't actually do anything, they're just there to entertain the baby).
>>11788933>he bought disney shit
>11788987Anon, you are constantly wrong about what comes from which era, nobody cares what you think.
>>11788933Oh also forgot to mention that I got the baby carrier from Ross for $7, which is lucky, because I had resisted the urge to previously buy it from a second hand place for $15.
>>11789005Yeah, I grabbed that, a dark trooper, 2 mandalorian super commandos, k2s0, and thrawn for 5 each. Ross is pretty great for random star wars figures.
>>11789010Damn that's a good haul! I'm assuming over a few runs? Still good, regardless. I've seen some anons pick up the turret storm trooper deluxe set, which I'm totes envious of.
>>11789018It was actually one day, but 2 locations. I saw those stormtrooper sets a couple years ago during the christmas season and got a few of them. But I think my favorite figure from Ross was the season 1 IG-11. His limbs have become a little loose from how much fun he is to pose.
>>11786862It's one of my favorite lines. I have almost all standard releases. Collected it where it was first announced since I have been dying for an action fleet sort of revival. That was my main toy line as a kid.I ended up spending way too much money and not having the space for it all so I usually display in rotation based on era. I also toned down the clone wars since I didnt want to buy doubles. So I focus on Empire for army building. But lately with the mando moving coming out and the mando-centric releases, I got a mando display atm. I got that fuckass AT-AT coming in later from the movie.
>>11788466The only way to do is have a separate line where the capital ships are somewhat scale with each other but not the other ships.
>>11789481I am more than willing to accept those termsif I could do it with micro machines and armada, I could do it with bigger and better toys
>>11789188Oh yeah, I love my IG-11 as well, which is the only reason I even considered the baby carrier. I really wish they'd make an IG-88 with this updated sculpt. I do plan on getting the sheriff version, maybe...I'm enjoying this awoo, btw, really scratched that creature itch that I've been missing with star wars.

>>11789410Pro tip, with some self-adhesive zip-tie cable mounts and fishing line you can turn your ceiling into a display for your smaller vehicles.>>11789554Creatures are always cool. I'll often get an old PotF2 mount or Ep2 Arena beast if I see one at a thrift or used toy shop.
>>11789685This reminds me of that custom someone made combining a commando droid and an IG-86 to look like Scud the disposable assassin.
>>11788704>that show was goodlol, fuck no
>>11790764kys
>>11790952NTA, but yeah, that's about what I'd expect from someone who says Acolyte is "good and popular"... Literal delusions. Terrible casting, terrible acting, terrible dialogue, terrible story, the blandest toys (I paid $5 for both black girls and trinity, I only got each to use as generic mechanic, generic assassin, and generic Jedi, and even then I'm only satisfied, unlike how much I've enjoyed more recent pick ups), the only good thing I've heard about it is the fight choreography. It wasnt popular, either, because it famously pulled shit numbers, so you are demonstrably wrong on all accounts. What's funny is I was recently reflecting on how toyetic Ahsoka ended up being, because the inquisitors are decent bad guy figures, the HK droids are still cool droids, zombie troopers are just trooper variants, and Thran makes for a different imperial officer (even if they butchered his character, of which you can also pretend the toy represents the original work), and old man bad guy plus his sugar baby gf look decent.Hell the E-wing is a solid ship, and I've already mentioned how much I liked the howler mount.
>>11790975I can get on board with the idea that the acolyte figures are dropping lower and lower at Ross and I can use Jedi characters for customs, droids for making battle damaged background props, and characters I don't like to be bullied by other characters in displays/photos. Like, they're getting as low as 2.50 for acolyte figures already in my area.
>>11791110>characters I don't like to be bullied by other characters in displays/photos30+ year old man btw
>>11789685What is this? It does looks great.
This guy came in. I canceled him From hasbro because I didn't want to pay their high shipping but they were too quick. I have another on order from bbts which I'll probably keep to resell one of these someday.

Is there any site where I can buy hands for these 3.75" figures? My Airborne Trooper lost his...

>>11793259Cheapest option is probably to get the cheapest clone trooper you can find on ebay and steal its hand. I think anything from the 2002 releases to pre-disney TVC should generally have the same wrists.
I think I prefer the original Nihilus over the upcoming 2 pack version, anyone else feel this way

>>11793889also where's the cheapest place to get a nu-Thrawn
>>11793897yeah and I want a two pack of Prowse and James Earl Jones with lightsabers and Jedi robes it's just not very likely
>>11793654I've been waiting years for a good padme, and this one was almost perfect. Soft plastic cape has its pros and cons vs a soft goods, so that will never be truly perfect (unless they included both). Only point against it is her butt sculpt could've been better, but it also could've been worse.I liked it a lot, and the only other downside is the $20 price tag, so if you can get it for less than that, I'd say shoot.Don't have Shak-ti, but it looks good, and it also looks kike it is peg warning, so I'ma wait for it to show up at Ross lol

>>11793654Fantastic. The lack of wrist hinges is probably the biggest negative, especially on Shaak Ti. Padme has an amazing portrait, it's scary how much she looks like a miniature person.
>>11794274You're not making negative comments though, you're just spamming and trolling with the same uncreative bullshit phrases. It’s annoying so just fuck off. A lot of us here couldn’t care less about Disney shit but still enjoy the toys and want to talk about them without you shitting up the thread with your “REEEE SHILL MOUSE KEK” garbage spam.
Not to the extent of the original movies but I still like Maul and Mandalorian. (Maul in particular because oof it finally feels like we got something more inline with the old Star Wars even if it’s lacking some aspects)I think the biggest issue with the Mandalorian movie is that people are done. It has been a decade with them missing more than hitting, screwing the few good ideas they had along the way. Mandalorian at its worst isn’t as bad as the other stuff they dished out but nobody has in them to care. And I can’t blame them. It doesn’t feel like a movie more like some start of a new season they had to repurpose. It’s like they realized they got nothing and had to use something and this is all they had any confidence at.
>>11794437this, i like cool toys!!
>>11794527Yeah I didn't think the movie was bad but it does feel like it could've just been a Disney+ special presentation like they do with Marvel stuff. Honestly it feels like that's what they were going to do and then decided to make it theatrical since it really does feel like it was shot for the small screen, and Favreau definitely knows how to shoot for the big screen.
Amazon has some good deals. I got the security Droid and droideka for 35 bucks.
>>11794819>I didn't think the movie was badWell you're a retard shill.
>>11795231>shill shill shillweren't you banned?
>>11794527Honestly doesn't help that even by the end of S3, Mando felt pretty done as a series. The best they can do is bring him in for future appearances, like a dark horse character.
Is the Black Series Shin Hati any good, or am I better off waiting for Hasbro to take another crack at her come Season 2?
>>11795446I got her on clearance because I liked her actress, haven't seen the show. I doubt they'll do another.
>>11794903I wish it wasn’t a 2 pack, I don’t really want the droideka
>>11794819Pretty much>>11795445This too. I have my issues with S3 like anyone else but by the end of it there isn’t much to do with the mandalorians as a whole. They got a settlement outside among common people, their planet back and their tribes unified.
>>11795297Weren't you? Shill.
Things from the movie I want figures of:-Rotta-the two big droid guards that had the cool stop motion feel to themThings from the movie I don't want figures of:-everything else
>>11796584Wait I forgot Embo's in this, I do want an Embo but just because I liked him in TCW, he was pretty meh in the movie
>>11796584They were stop motion. They decided to do a combination of cgi and practical effects in this movie to make it feel a little more like OT.
>>11796659Oh neat, I liked the way they turned out
>>11794819According to what Filoni and Favreau have said, they were writing season 4 when Disney told them they wanted a movie instead, and they had to come up with something that A. could work as a one-off adventure and didn't require the audience to have watched the show and B. didn't require a huge budget like the other movies. In that sense I don't fault them for making what is essentially a 2 hour filler episode, but at the same time it feels like they really could've used this opportunity to develop Mando and Grogu more. A big part of the movie's problem is that there aren't really any meaningful stakes for them (yeah there's the part with the poison but that gets neatly resolved without any further repercussions), almost like they were treating the movie and show audiences as mutually exclusive and felt they couldn't do anything that would've affected the characters beyond the movie.
>>11796584It’s weird how they made Mando’s armor so bland. I know it’s meant to symbolize he is fully decked out in pure(r) beskar but between the lack of any markings or funny sticks on the helmed it just feels boring.Even clone troopers that just modify plastoid armor to put the eyes on their helmets feel more mandalorian than his. This is sided with really dumb ideas like:>establishing the beskar spear can penetrate beskar (meaning it was better than the darksaber)>melting said spearSeriously at least the spear gave him some unique weapon that felt “hunter”-like.
>>11796659On top of that they were done by Phil Tippett himself
>>11791320All they had to do was put the same old AT-AT everyone knows. No they didnt they pull a shitty variation fuck this.
>>11796685Yeah this is why I liked his original armor better than the upgrade. He should've painted it once he got his signet, to establish his "clan colors" :/I also agree on the spear acquisition; it should've been spaced out better, so he goes from rifle with bayonet, to spear, to sword. But that would require competent writing, so double :/
>>11796659So much effort for a bomb nobody will care about in a week.
>>11796708I think the whole point of using the AT-RT and rebels style AT-AT was to emphasize that they were working with older tech because now remnants they're lacking imperial backing. Similar to how the OT rebel fighters looked to be whatever older beat up ships they could get their hands on.
What was the issue with this Tie anyway?
Something about stickers inside what is it ? It doesnt come with them or they putted them wrong or wtf?
>>11797020Stickers for anything besides screens sounds bad in and of itself, for that price point.
>>11796659That's pretty cool honestly. >>11796684I think if we'd gotten Season 4, it would've largely been the movie padded out. An episode with the imp warlord at the beginning, with added fluff in the rebel base. A couple of episodes on the crime planet with Rotta. Like in the film he finds Rotta within five minutes of landing. Would've been pretty easy to drag it ou. An episode dedicated to them finding/taking down the second imp warlord. In the film they literally just immediately turn up at his house and get him. Easy to pad that out.Et cetera.
I just finished playing Bounty HunterIs there a Vosa figure
>>11797240Nope. The only character from the game to get a figure (not counting Jango of course) is Montross, but even then he's based on his appearance in the prequel comic instead of the actual game
>>11796997The targeting computer didn't get the decal on the screen that it was supposed to have due to some kind of factory error.
>>11797292And they still never fixed it. Fucking ridiculous.
>>11797309I heard about this but was never super interested in buying it so I didn't research it any further, have they really done nothing at all to correct this? Not even sent out stickers or something?
Were there any remnant scout troopers in the movie? I want a new scout body…
>>11797588Nope. All of the Imperials in the film are the same ones you see in the trailers.
Movie seems to be doing Solo numbers, which is not great for a Star Wars movie but it also had a much lower budget which might save it from being a flop
I recently noticed that the pauldrons are flipped, so who made the mistake here? Hasbro? M&G?
>>11794819>Yeah I didn't think the movie was bad but it does feel like it could've just been a Disney+ special presentation like they do with Marvel stuff. That is what I thought watching it too. I kept thinking 'this would be the moment they cut to credits for the next episode' watching it.I thought it was pretty good, but it didn't feel like I was watching a movie. Don't think I want toys of anyone really. The mix-match of droid guards were cool.
>>11797783Nobody. The Snowtrooper Commander has flipped pauldrons as part of the costume design.
>>11797822Ah, I should have guessed as much.Ok, tangent rant; why are the snowtroopers so expensive? It got a single card release AND and army builder 4 pack, but they still demand like, $25+!?!? Is there really that much demand? They are pretty cool, so I guess...?
