Deadshot getting an AY was a no brainer with tendency of DC AY sticking to Batman characters and his strong media presence in recent years with multiple Suicide Squad projects. And the fact AY loves the paramilitary types. I have little doubt if it wasn't for the dark times of no guns policy it would have happened sooner. As for going with the classic look, taking this long to happen might've helped. None of the projects with Deadshot really took off, thus not creating a definitive style for the character that the audience to consolidate the impression of. I think it helps that the old design still got enough detailing on it to not look like a lazy sculpt work. Also maybe a bonus factor the classic design most resembles Deadpool, one of their best selling AY so they hope some fans of those figures would buy this even if they don't know the character at all. It's really the reason we got AY Deathstroke in the first place, he wasn't a big name.

Getting the refund for Toga was a nightmare. I made some posts about it in the shf threads. They also didn’t give me their compensatory voucher for her as they said they would. I didn't really care about 1k yen but that was yet another customer service fail in all of this. I didn’t want to be a Karen but I feel like I am justified here. If you had to go through these past two months of abysmal service and stress you would be pissed too.Anyway for all my complaining and 4chan blogposting, they surprisingly agreed to knock off 2k from the shipping cost. Hopefully they actually did and didn’t just say so because there isn’t really a way for me to tell for sure. Now to just wait for delivery. Hopefully no more problems.

>>11802049I mean it's not the speed they move around that matters, it's the poses the human body can do that limitation of a hard plastic action figure can't do. They are mostly skin tight suit with no armor restrictions so they can move as much as a person can. Even something as simple as a flight pose can be tricky to nail dawn. Like closing the legs cleanly or the back arching. Arms straight forward touching without the head interfering. Beam poses the AY shoulders, butterfly joints and elbow range allows a more natural stance than Figuarts IMO. But maybe the more recent Figuarts improved I haven't opened anything recent. I noticed Bandai trying new things with the shoulders like in DB that I liked, don't know if they used that in Ultraman yet. I did notice the model kit of Geed had really good shoulders. The Mech armor ULTRAMAN is where I think AY is the best option, AY Bleeding Edge proves it. Best articulation without relying on swing out swing down joints that looks detached and ugly. They do move slowly in the show on purpose btw, to make them look like they are giants. Big objects look slower. It's an old trick they used from the start like with water, shooting a small pool and slowing it made it look more like an ocean.
