SexyIce posted more teasers for their "Neural Terminal Bio-Roid" which will probably open for preorder soon.

Articulation demonstration video here:

Also Ant preorder window closing soon. I think the last thread died before it was fully revealed so I don't think anyone was able to talk about it.
>>
Sorry I am not good at baking but the previous OP seems to have disappeared and I felt like there was some stuff to talk about
>>
>>11778283
I'm interested in this though the knee articulation looks a little more limited than I expected. I wonder how they will handle the variants since at wonfes they showed one with some silver mask and another with crash test dummy color scheme.

>>11778284
I regret not ordering anaconda from amiami because the shipping was a lot on BBB...
>>
>>11778283
The elbows having only a single joint is a bummer, but I've seen it work with the anime Harley Quinn from Revoltech. It has a similar single joint elbow scheme that works on par with the butterfly joint to achieve certain poses and moments. I'm excited to get these on hand and mess around with this interesting design choices.
>>
>>11778283
I like the fuckin' chink chutzpah to so brazenly show off the inner workings of their esoteric engineering as if BEGGING bootleggers to try and rip them off, or to conceitedly flip the bird at figma for trying the same thing with their upcoming archetype blank body.
They do this every fuckin' time with no repercussions, and no brave bootleggers fucking up their damn profit margins.

I'm still around. I simply made it clear last thread I would not make a new thread until people had in hand pics of the Zatard Hounds. Anaconda Strike Unkval is a recolor, I don't go on Twitter, and I don't like hyping up pre-orders for stuff twice. Last thread there was a toy convention showcasing SexyIce2019 and pre-orders so it was a good time. I'll post in this thread too. Just wanted to let you know.

Yeah I think if you just want a hyper posable blank body then the Whale Works will be the one to get. But I like this because the smooth android-esque design is kinda unique since usually blanks have very defined musculature. Of their projects in development I think the crash test dummy is my most anticipated.

>>11778351
>I would not make a new thread until people had in hand pics of the Zatard Hounds
desu for some reason I thought you had said until people had Anaconda in hand

>>11778349
Don't bootleggers usually just do recasts? Anyone can copy your engineering by buying your figure and taking it apart. Not sure how I would feel about that as a designer but as a buyer I wouldn't mind if companies took notes from things that work instead of experimenting and failing.

>>11778352
Who is this from?
>>
>>11778352
That's likely a psyop. Probably the Sexyice owner trolling people with an alt. I mean, seriously, the name is pretty on the nose: nerdy vs. sexy, fire vs. ice.

>>11778380
Yeah, and that's what gets me: why can't bootleggers just somehow copy the SexyIce joint tech with cheaper plastics that are still somewhat as good as their obsession with POK?
Just figure out how to redo the tolerances with cheaper plastic and sell 'em low and in bulk. Run Tuhao Tang and Fuerdai Feng's wallet dry.

God damn it, they're literally test dummies... They teased the fuck out of me with the doggos, showing them off in clear plastic. I think they're slightly translucent black, but not nearly as cool as clear would be. I'm probably going to pass on this past per-apocalypse lineup until I see something I actually like.

Also does anyone know when Locust is due? I thought Ant would be here first, and I have yet to see Locust painted. I missed out on getting this guy and he turned out fucking amazing and better than any of the other bugs in the details department.

Uhm... there's a dude in the comments on the product page in Gundamit saying that Gundamit will not carry this and it's going to cancel existing preorders. Does anyone have any more info on that? Or is that a Bombushbee shill trying to get people nervous? Notably, Gundamit hasn't updated the product page with the prototype pictures.

So are all of you perfectly okay with the fact that this >>11778283 has the same hip articulation scheme as Yamaguchi action figures going back early 2000's maybe even late 90's?

I'm used to it but I remember everyone hating on them. Anons lose their shit when some AY used them.

I find it fascinating once it's not a Revoltech people don't seem to mind as much of the same engineering choices. Like Buzzmod afaik still use the old Revoltech style double joint shoulders that not even Revo use anymore. I don't know if anons made a fuss about that.

I’m a tad concerned by the hinged elbows and knees, even if they don’t look bad aesthetically, like the hinges for the old Fraulines. I fear the hinges will shear off primarily, so I’ll let the FOMO consoomers PO and review them before I open my wallet.

Nah I'm not a fan of it. The MP-Evas were fine for their time (I still have the complete version) but its definitely outdated engineering that I wouldn't want anyone replicating.

I already wanted this but playing Pragmata makes me want it more. I wish there was a little more subtle detail though maybe some kind of panel lining or just more printing. The little EAE logo is nice but maybe one or two more small prints like that would've added to it.

Anon, I have some bad news. The FOMO consoomers don't simply buy 1, 5, or even 10 SexyIce2019 figures. There has never been leftovers sitting In-Stock. If you don't pre-order you don't get one.

Still waiting for gundam to post the full price for this guy
>>
>>11779127
Gundamit is annoying with prices. I think sometimes they raise them after getting the item in stock so I started just preordering to ensure I get the best price even if it is unknown
>>
>>11779109
Waitfagging for sexyice is funny. They are almost exactly made to order unlike "made to order" figma which often has a lot of extra stock hanging around for months after release. But I'm curious if this will always be the case or if we may see some extra stock with the zatard hounds. Gundamit still has the preorder for them open even though the window was supposed to have closed a while ago.
>>
>>11778837
>like the hinges for the old Fraulines. I fear the hinges will shear off
You're concerned over nothing. The old Frauleins had weak joints because the hinges were soft plastic like the rest of the body, PVC. As you can see here>>11778283 the joints are separate plastic. Most likely POM, the same plastic Figuarts, Figma, and Revoltechs are using today for their joints. They all have single hinges and rarely break the way a soft PVC peg would break off. There has to be some random ass imperfection or crack in the POM for it to happen. Somehow it got superglued or something.
>>
>>11779173
>Most likely POM
I forgot they made a big deal about starting to use something BETTER called POK so it's probably that for anything new.
>>
>>11778488
Arent gundamit from mainland? Why cant they buy it? Where do chink get theirs sexyice then?
>>
>>11779109
Yeah I know of some autists who army build those fuckers, I can't imagine how much cash they've spent on that at this point.
>>
>>11779109
>imagine owning all of this and never commissioning a diorama space to pose them all in
What's the matter with richfags? So uncreative.
>>
>>11779285
The poses are what get me, ffs Unkval articulates really well why leave him in such stance?
>>
>>11779293
The guy wants to display them like an army so what's wrong with them being in formation? Soldiers don't stand in line in different battle poses lol.

What's insane is the AYs below them, just standing together individually for no good reason.
>>
What the fuck is going with BBB shipping prices? One figure to EU costs 24 usd, 2 figures 17. This is a ripoff. I"m gonna drop the line if this is the only shop selling those.
>>
>>11779417
You can PO all Sexyice figures from Japanese stores like AmiAmi, Nin Nin Game, Hobby Genki, and Hobby link japan to name a few. Shipping might be a bit cheaper with them, but only AmiAmi has the exclusive recolors, pretty good stores all of them, tho Nin nin and Genki tend to be a bit slow
>>
>>11779109
>>11779301
>What's insane is the AYs below them, just standing together individually for no good reason.
It's almost like the guy can't pose and just put all his toys in A pose including the Unkval ones...
>>
>>11779285
Tuhao, man. Chinese noveau riche who never earned a damn penny and coasted off daddy's duplicitously defrauded dimes. All wealth, no class.
Can't pose or be creative, all they can do is show off an army to flaunt their wealth.

>>11778721
Sadly I think some modern AmaYamas might be using similar styles for posing. Mostly Shigaraki comes to mind though unless I'm missing out on him actually having hip ball joints.
God I hate that assembly. Really refuses to let you achieve that BEAUTIFUL SPREAD!
>>
>>11779504
>Shigaraki comes to mind though unless I'm missing out on him actually having hip ball joints
Anything modern has ball joint hips. The thighs are where it might be swivel or ball, but mostly swivel.

Only 2 AY had swivel hips. Venom and Magneto. Both for the reason of supporting heavier weight.
>>
>>11779516
Let me be more specific about the hips. Angled swivel cuts AKA Yamaguchi's patented (not actually?) Monoshaft Drive system. Because AYs like Optimus, Mazinger Z/Great, Getter 1/Black all have a swivel at a hip too but bot the kind we're talking about.
>>
>>11779285
What would you build for Sexy Ice display? Ruined city? Cyberpunk dystopia, with neons or pure brutalist concrete? Lab?
Once I get enough figures I may try to do one, I'm thinking a daytime future city with some damage.
