The 2000s teen titans was actually meant to be a DCAU/timm universe cartoon originally. I dont really know how it morphed into becoming something separate from that though. I actually dont hold alot of love for the show either, ive yet to fully watch the series to this day and what i have seen of it while okay isnt as good as say justice league or especially batman the animated series.
