$80cad to ship this little box with 3 figures.-$40 ems(cheapest option)-$40 to my communist government on taxationI've largely switched over to buying toys from China and this was a good reminder why. Shipping from China is usually free even when the orders are worth hundreds of dollars and I never get taxed. Fuck buying from Japan.
>>11797742You could gotten all those on amazon
>>11797767Not in Canada, silly. We have a dictatorship here, no commies, no sire bob.
>>11797742Thank Trump for your tariffs.
>>11797767Not the mafex>>11797788Maple land, no tariffs, just expensive fucking shipping from both USA and Japan.
>>11797811yes the Mafexhttps://www.amazon.com/Medicom-Toy-MAFEX-Star-Wars/dp/B0DXK3CT3V/ref=sr_1_1?sr=8-1
>>11797820>links to some 3rd party seller above MSRPand>amazon.comYou know Amazon has regional websites right?
>>11797788>Canada >Trump
>>11797742Shipping from eveywhere has gotten ridiculous. Even within the US it's almost nor worth the trouble.
>>11797742Yeah, shipping from Japan's been bad enough that I just buy domestically lately and even with the markups, it's still cheaper than shipping + tariff fees.
>>11797742Canadians are weird.
>>11797742I just paid $100 to ship 5 figures from Hobby Genki :’)>>11798357>it's still cheaper than shipping + tariff feesIn the US? Hasn't been my experience. I calculate the difference every time and importing has still been cheaper even if it’s just like 2 or 3 dollars. But you also get it a month or two earlier. I guess it's a case by case basis though. BBTS has some newer preorders that are more reasonably priced and will probably end up cheaper than importing if you are only getting the one item.
>>11797838>above MSRP>actually cheaper than BBTSyou're so fucking new it hurts
>>11798588>using BBTS prices as a gauge for MSRP on importsI think you are the one who is new.
>>11797785You can order from both Amazon.com and Amazon.ca in Canada sorry bub you let your retarded anti Canada bias cloud your judgement
>>11799861That's why I was pointing out the Amazon was cheaper than them. Does BBTS jack prices kinda randomly on things they think will be popular? Sure.
>>11797742>and I never get taxedHow? I'm not US so I get fucked in the ass but shipping as well, AliExpress is generally the best deal but not by that much. Gotta watch for scammers though.
>>11797742>my communist governmentYou voted for this.
HLJ in the US would cost me about the same(~$55 USD) and China is still not really touched, maybe a few dollars more since the tariff thing. Used to be much cheaper, maybe $35 tops for three figures a few years ago. We're all getting fucked one way or another, left or right.
>>11800762Bbts now jacks up prices on most things, even many domestics. They know they can get away with it. Amazon does as well. I never see a reasonable price on an import on Amazon anymore.
>>11797742you're paying a premium for that HLJ branded box lol
>>11802992Maximum Spider-Man is over $70 on Amazon rn yet BBTS has it for $55
>>11803097Amazon's insane ai pricing strikes again. Does it work?
greedy ass muthafuckasfeels so corrupt
>>11803230Youd be alarmed at the markup on toys
>>11797742>$80 cadmight aswell wait for an official release for your market
>>11797843>>11797811>>11797788>Be Canadian>Vote for Trump>Suffer the consequencesYou guys did this to yourselves.I have not ordered anything from Japan in years, way back since Amazon changed their shipping policy where they would charge for each item instead of one bulk price. I get that intentional users might not be Amazon JPs actual customer base but still. It was great for getting CDs and Magazines and toys.
>>11797742>sucks to be CanadianGood taste on figures Anon, but those prices are pretty much the standard everywhere now.
