Aw, I always wanted one of these guys too! I had a Tekstar dog that I loved as a kid, but I think his batteries ended up corroded.

I loved that "interactive pet robots" era.
I had most of them - those dinosaurs (Cruncher the dinosawr. D-rex and others that spit water or bite) parrots and etc.

Its funny how these days AI and other stuff is evolving BUT.... 00-10s interactive toy robots are still SMARTER and CHEAPER.

I had so much fun with Sqhawkers McCaw - parrot. he could record phrases so i would play my favorite movies and record favorite movie lines. and he would say them occasionally.
