I just want to show my little robot, he is cute :›It's an Aibo ers 210a, a robot I've dreamed of having since I was little
>>11799520Aw, I always wanted one of these guys too! I had a Tekstar dog that I loved as a kid, but I think his batteries ended up corroded.
>>11799520cute! once i saw a short documentary that had an old man and his aibo robot. they get funerals too
>>11799520I loved that "interactive pet robots" era.I had most of them - those dinosaurs (Cruncher the dinosawr. D-rex and others that spit water or bite) parrots and etc.Its funny how these days AI and other stuff is evolving BUT.... 00-10s interactive toy robots are still SMARTER and CHEAPER.I had so much fun with Sqhawkers McCaw - parrot. he could record phrases so i would play my favorite movies and record favorite movie lines. and he would say them occasionally.
>>11799520i love furbies
>>11799520ive never seen these in action, and ive always hoped to get one when they'd become common and cheap, but that never happened. Are they as functional as its price suggests?
>>11802664I think the aibo models used in Japan range between 100-600 depending on how new the model is. They were crazy expensive at their peak though.
>>11799520Happy for you anon, I'd love to have a ERS-7 or ERS-31X someday
>>11799520I want a psychotic robot like the one from Hitchhikers Guide. But one who will also do my bidding, straighten up my rooms and preparing my meals, while complaining about their lot in life and quoting Daniel Sloss jokes, but only the ones Sloss made in print or on obscure podcasts. I want my robot to read me the stupidest posts from /toys/ so I don't have to wade through all this low effort shitposting.
>>11799520What do you have him running, anon? He is very cute, I always wanted a Macaron.
