>Build-A-Figure
Typically, but not always, larger characters that are created by collecting every character in a wave
>Sidekick Figures
Smaller characters with usually 0-5 points of articulation that are included as a bonus

Which do you prefer?
>>
Sidekicks, definitely. I love little guys and I think it's a shame western toys don't care about them that much. Meanwhile jap figures will flood you with them.

I like build-a-figures in concept. I hate having to buy waves full of Glup Shittos that don't interest me to complete them.
For that reason alone, sidekicks are superior.
>>
BAFs. Especially if, once completed, they’re gigantic.

The answer is no. I just want the one character. I don't need a useless little statue accessory or a leg of a character I don't even want to AF to B in the first place. Sell all the characters separately.

Sidekick figures all the way. I love little fellas i can carry around with me and play with

Sidekick, with the caveat I want them to be figures that fundamentally wouldn't work as a proper figure so I don't feel like they've been conned out of a fully articulated toy.

They should do box sets of sidekick figures.

I think Toybiz was going to do something with the X-Babies but it got cancelled.

I prefer when big figures were sold on their own like they were years ago but is now impossible apparently

I do like the smaller characters - I think it helps build out a display and makes it less static. Likewise, if it's a pet. However, it's a total rip, especially for some lines like McFarlane, to count a Detective Chimp or a Krypto dog as a 'sidekick' smaller figure to call something a two pack or a deluxe. It's as bullshit as the Spider-Man NWH deluxe of the Jamie Fox Electro with just one spare set of hands and those lightening effects which has now peg warmed so hard, people can't even give them away for $8 and free shipping on fucking ebay.

they could easily do an entire set of say 5" 22POA chibi characters aimed at the girls who pay $14-18 for shit like ONE fucking Funko K-Pop Demon Hunters, and sell them in 3PKs for like $24.99/$27.99.
