>mogs hasbro's sculpt to oblivion>far cheaper to acquire>aliexpress 75% discounts, free shipping>doesn't get morphed in it's own packagingdo people still buy blacked series dogshit ?it's over for hasbro when blokees comes out with clones
>>11812613>is not even close to 1/12 Wow that was easy to discard
Eh, too stylized, not really accurate in details and these joints are real bad looking when you bend knees etc.Black Series also often hit clearance prices, unless figure is in high demand. It's good to have various options tho, Hasbro does deserve some humbling.Random stolen pic from the internet.
>>11812613>>11812632Even as someone who likes Blokees, I find this silly. You don't even have to order from Ali because you can get these for $15 from Walmart. I didn't pick up the clone troopers because I could give two fucks. I picked up the Darth because for $15 I can now do a villains pub DIOs with some cheap tea towel dumped on some thrift clearance toy as Palpatine just because Vader is standing next to it. Now I need those NECA Voldermort's to continue to pegwarm hard so they are on clearance by the holidays and I am golden.>Black Series ... clearance You don't readily find the troopers on clearance. Probably come August or early September, some Mando stuff will hit cheaper pricing but it will be more baby Yoda shit than anything anyone here wants.
>>11812624>1/12The word you're looking for is 6 inches. None of these brands are scaled figures, they're non-scale. Stormtroopers have no set height. They're not clones. The Blokees troopers can easily just be a short trooper. If you want more height, simply mod it.
>>11812624 braindead hasbro slave>>11812768dont try explaining to the goy
>>11812768>manlet copePeople are sticklers on scale, becasue they don't want elite troopers to look like midgets next to their other toys.I mean, scale is so important that the Warhammer General went from being one of the top 5 threads on /toy/ to being a ghost town. Joytoy increasing the scale ever so slightly killed 99% of people's interest in the line.
>>11812613>mogs hasbro's sculpt to oblivionOnly retards think this. The knees are disgusting, it’s too short, and the thing that everyone glosses over is it’s a fucking model kit meaning it feels like shit to handle and pose. It’s cool for poorfags but I don’t mind paying a little more for a proper action figure from Hasbro. Plus Blokees will never have a vast character selection.
>>11813023The "hype" posted on this board for Blokees feels so fucking artificial and forced that I have to assume that the people hyping them up are paid shills. There's no way that anyone thinks OP looks better than your average Black Series unless they're paid shills orr so beyond poor that these are the only things they can afford now.
>>11813028A lot of the Chinese brands are this way, with most of their threads not having a lot of actual pictures posted. And some of the posters from those threads actively shit up "rival" brands, where they seem to only go to those threads to shitpost, since they also never post their toys that belong to those threads. The amount of no-toys who have been coming to /toy/ has increased dramatically since 2020.
>>11813044>actively shit up "rival" brands, all toys are made in china. why would china shit up china?
>>11813028I like Blokee when it's the small Defender class Transformers since they're cute little chibi stuff. Once you get to regular scale action figures I do think you're better off spending few extra bucks to get a genuine action figure though
>>11813194a bunch of the bigger blokees stuff is action figures in all but name, they just with their limbs off and you have to pop them togetherthe brand is really weird honestly, you have the action figures that come dissassembled and actual model kits in the same line and there's really no way to know which is which from a glance
>>11812613sculpt looks ridiculous, looks like he's from fortnite
>>11812613I like Blokees (have a bunch of their Pokemon figures) but imagine trying to sell Star Wars junk in 2026. The only thing they'll be killing is themselves.
>>11813355it's okay, frenthey still will keep making your shitty plastic toys, too
OP is objectively correct, and I can't tell if it's the same guy replying to the thread or if there's genuinely this many hasbro manchildren that can't accept competition. The sculpt is superior. The ONLY downside the blokees figure has is that the bent knees just show the joint and they didn't make it rounded plastic (which doesn't matter since 99% of the time you display figures standing). Just compare the helmets and the chestplate. The blokees helmet and chestplate looks sharper, more angular and closer to the real costume where the hasbro sculpt looks soft and cheap.
>>11813623The proportions are way too stylized and that is going to be divisive for everyone. Sorry that it hurts your feelings that so many people aren't sucking Blokees dick.
>>11813625>it's stylizedHasbroids have entered a state of mass delusion
>>11813628Do you not have eyes anon?
>>11813623They're this many - you see it on the replies to action figure toy you tubers suddenly making and liking any blokees. You see it in comments here and elsewhere, on the current and older Legends Gen when the new ML Rivals get brought up, or the DC Gen when they used a blokees kit for the OP image, or just about anything else blokees now has a license for.
>>11813631Explain how it's stylized in any meaningful way, besides "it looks different from black series". It doesn't, and it looks closer to the movies then the black series sculpt by every metric. There is no argument against this.>>11813859It is pathetic how they submit to a brand that has no respect for their consumers. They are in the cuck chair
>>11813623>>11813897>looks closer to the moviesYou're kidding, right? There is a reason why anons keep calling it stylized, because they are more angular and got exagerrated heroic looking shoulders, something akin to animated series, not to mention their faces. Stormtroopers are smooth looking motherfuckers, Blokees versions have way sharper lines. And there is nothing bad about it, nobody wants another line that just plops another boring rehash of already existing offerings, Blokees are unique looking and fun in their own way. They have their own niche and they're owning it.I'm just against discourse in bad faith that just serves lame baits. Always hated faggots like you.
>>11813960NTA but all this reeks of canon accurate costumes arguments I remember from /coMost casual fans DO NOT CAREIn my case, for example, and as a DC fan and since we are talking Blokees, that the Gunn suit wasn't as awful looking as the actual film because it didn't look as padded and bulky and while it had some of the lines, it didn't look quite as busy.OTOH, even as a Blokee's fan, I'd agree that this Batman Beyond suit has the same problem I think the AY Revo's have, which is the overly anime/mecha futuristic that makes me think that for all the Chinese hate the Japanese, they've swallowed their culture down whole.
>>11813986>Most casual fans DO NOT CAREwhen given a choice, casual fans will choose the one that looks on model most though. This is why most other companies who had the star wars license kinda gave up or slowed the fuck down, because the cheapest option was also the most accurate option.
>>11812863That's because Joy Toy figures are actual scaled figures you dirty fucking fag
>>11814096>actually scaledto what? They don't even scale to themselves from year to year.
>>11814107to 1/18th of the canon height, retard. what the fuck do you mean scale to what? also, the Space Marine 2 line is different from its contemporary Warhammer 40k sister line since it's a video game license. So, it afforded Joy Toy the opportunity to fix the scale and they do fucking scale properly as in pic rel. The initial waves of Warhammer 40k weren't scaled properly because Joy Toy forgot that Astartes are way taller than the average human. From what I can find, the newer releases do in fact scale properly now. Joy Toy are marketed as scaled figures and they're fixing their mistakes. Blokees and Black Series are non-scale and have never marketed themselves as any scale. If it bothers you that much, you can add a few mm to the Blokees Stormtrooper by lengthening the thigh peg and extending the waist ball joint. it would get it at least to 14.5cm and in 1/12 that's about 174cm, which is how tall Spiderman canonically is.
>>11813960how is this "stylised" apart from the face? the sharpness is hardly a factor here. the belt for example closer on the blokees. maybe blokees isnt accurate the 70s movie prop, but if we take a look at a more modern suit prop like from rogue one which is probably made with better prop-making tech, the blokees looks pretty spot. is it accurate the movie it's advertised as? no. is it stylised? i dont think so either
>>11814196>newer releases do in fact scale properly now>nowSo over 4 years of Joytoy printing 1:18 scale on their toys despite being a total lie, but now it's no longer false advertisment? That's too little too late, hence the WH40k General becoming a ghost town since last year after the 4th scale creep release
>>11814214Yes, its 4 years of mistakes and technical false advertisement and the criticisms of the size were 100% warranted. What matters is they listen and fix their mistakes. You have it better than other toy collectors, especially girl figures collectors where every manufacturer is lying through their fucking teeth about their figures being 1/12 scale when they are in fact verifiably 1/10 scale. Anon, Joy Toy doesn't make toys based on 4chan threads. If you want it to be active again, start posting.
>>11814212Crazy to say it looks spot on to the RO suit. I could buy the argument of the blokees matching some of the ANH costumes, which were not all uniform, but black series is almost a 1:1 match to the RO suit and blokees looks nothing like it. >>11813960 already laid it out. It’s not accurate and it’s stylized. Just the cartoony Han head should be proof this isn’t a realistic figure. Look at the shoulders, abdomen, knee pads. Chestplate I compared to some ANH stills and it could arguably match but not RO. The helmet part above the "jaw" area is too short. If you can’t play spot the difference with that comparison image, I guess there is no convincing you.
>>11814107>He doesn't knowThe Marine on the left was the 4.0 body which was based specifically on Space Marine 2, where the Marines were depicted as absolute giganiggas. The one on the right is from the regular line, which is more closely based on the miniatures. The SM2 figures were widely criticized as being stupidly large and they've now backtracked and are making them in the proper, less insanely big scale.
>>11814225It really feels like he's not arguing in good faith at this point. You can describe exactly what makes the figure stylized but he'll just stick his fingers in his ears and go "nah nah nah nah nah". I genuinely feel that he's a paid shill and he's doing his best to deflect.
>>11814225>apart from the face>still points out the faceit's like you're being retarded on purpose, and you still cannot meaningfully describe what makes the armour (not the fucking han solo face) stylised apart from "it's too sharp" or "it's too heroic" and it's clear that you've already decided what to think, especially when you describe the gummy sculpt of the Black series being 1:1 to RO and that's straight up fucking lying lmao
>>11814343It's what Chinese brand shills do.It's what >>11814247 is doing. Just complete fabrications to pretend everything is great, despite any fan or anyone with a photograph of the real thing instantly knowing they're lying.>>11814219>If you want it to be active again, start posting. After 4 years of, who's going to trust them, muchless continue buying their product? All the figures i previously bought can't really interact with them, because they look like children standing next to the new figures.Nevermind Joytoy's plastic has always been pretty shit ever since the their first lines started getting shilled here in 2018. All their toys tend to randomly snap on you, if they're actually assembled correctly. There's a reason why the WH40k thread is abandoned now, because even the most ardent fans had enough of the constant fuck ups and lies.Shit, i was actually one of the last few people who actually psoted his recent purchases in those threads, so people argued with me that the scale wasn't fucked up or that their toy didn't come broken silently gave up before admitting Joytoy did anything wrong.
Having Black series, Blokees, and Bandai modelThe most accurate stormtrooper is actually Bandai's model kit. That design actually looks like someone is in a suit. Black series when looked closely is very lanky in all the joints for articulation reason of course human don't move like that. Though I do believe Blokee > Bandai kit just out of the fact Blokee got more stuff hence is a better being toy even if it is a lot more stylized. >Still has to try the ZD one
>>11814385>The most accurate stormtrooper is actually Bandai's model kit.
>>11814413I think the bandai helmet looks fineI just don't know why when people posing it they kept pushing the helmet forward and chin down which gave that free shrug loook
>>11814427Nah, something was definitely wrong when Bandai's own modelers and professional photographers who took the promo images made it look this way too.... pretend i posted an image of the stormtrooper model kit box showing the side, because i can't post it and I'm not going to hunt down another image of it.
>>11814441>just pretend my evidence exists because I can't find it.Holy shit what kind of cope is this? This is just like your cope about hoarding in the Joe thread.
>>11814445I've literally posted images of multiple people's model kit, showing the same problem. You can google bandai's own images from that kit and see that they have the same problem.
>>11814378>It's what >>11814247(You) is doing. Just complete fabrications to pretend everything is great, despite any fan or anyone with a photograph of the real thing instantly knowing they're lying. What did I fabricate?>There's a reason why the WH40k thread is abandoned nowYeah- like so many threads before you saw people having discussions you didn't like and constantly derailed it to the point nobody wanted to post there anymore, because you are just that insufferable. We used to have a fighting game general but the moment you saw people liked the SHF SF figures you wet your panties and did the same thing. Just like how NECAnon spams NECA stock photos in the RAPT general because the idea of people discussing toys of those properties other than NECA makes him seethe. Just wait, he'll turn up here to call me a "troll" for pointing it out.
>>118126241/12fags don't belong anywhere near star wars. Go hang yourself.
>>11814533I post in dozens of threads, most of which still exist. It's not shocking that i bitch about a toyline for having awful sculpts/quality/paint/durability would also have the threads die out because people don't want to buy toys that have awful sculpts/durablity/quality/paint.With the WH40k thread, all the casuals didn't mind that the toys were out of scale until Joytoy made the newer figures out of scale with the old ones, and continued the scale creep year after year to the point of looking ridiculous. Nevermind the toys randomly snapping on them due to the shitty plastics joytoy uses.As for what you fabricate...apparently everything, since you want to imply i'm some sort of brand warrior, despite the fact i own more brands than you and 99% of this board. I only shit on shitty figures and only if it's something i actually want. So when Bandai made toys for a franchise i loved since i was a teenager, well, i was looking forward to it. People are allowed to have negative opinions when it looks like shit, but you can't have that, thus your coping mechanism.
>>11814575>t's not shocking that i bitch about a toylineWe know. You take every opportunity to remind us, even when it isn't related to the subject being discussed.
>>11814575>As for what you fabricate...apparently everything, since you want to imply i'm some sort of brand warriorYou are. Remember when Mezco released a Hulk with 4 mismatched shades of green and you defended them to the death? Or when you ran damage control for Mezco Darkseid being a $180 figure with 60 degree elbows and accused someone showing it was possible to make bulky figures with better range of "dishonest posing"?>despite the fact i own more brands than you and 99% of this board.Prove it. Oh, and before I forget, post models, bitchboy.
>>11814074I hate to break it to you sister, but you've been lied to.People are stupid and people are idiots. No one cares or pays attentions that "CLONES" in clone troopers means they are identical. They LOOK and fucking LOOK at your picture and all they see is a diverse group of body sizes, heights, etc. And it's not even DEI diversity, but no different than they see if it was the offensive line up of their favorite football team or the starting five of their favorite basketball team. It's just a collection of bodies.tl;dr casuals DO NOT careYOU are lying to yourself to believe otherwise
>>11814096>>11814107>>11812863Ah yes, it's that episode:let's talk about Blokees and let's talk about Hasbro by talking about how airplanes fly
Blokees are good fun but some people on both sides are just idiotic>Blokees anons don't fucking exist it is just a ccp pysop and paid shillsThe blokees general is alive enough. All the other larping is just your typical necanon vs necaspammer kind of trolling>Blokees is the best thing ever and mogs every other brand everThe brand has lots to improve and many things to criticize. Most of their figures won't fit most collections because of the under or overscaling, but it has enough good on them for people to look forward for future releases
>>11814555trips of truth
I only care about the phase 1 clones, I need more import prequel figures.
>>11814363Hasbroids are living in a state of mass delusion
>>11814555>Star Wars fags don't belong anywhere near 1/12FTFY.
>>11814363But I did describe the areas that are wrong besides the face. Sharp and heroic are absolutely valid descriptors. You just don’t want to listen or see it>>11814343You called it
