The more sets I acquire that mandr has reviewed the more I find out how much of a fucking retard he is.When properly assembled, the sith infiltrator's landing gear can move sideways with a bit of friction, you move it sideways so it "locks" to these light gray bricks. The chance you're going to through to the final 5 that are going to be sold as actual sets is very tiny. You'd have to be a retard to submit a design with the mindset that you're definitely going to get through to the end to get the money from it.On top of that, do you guys realize that it is pretty similar to the Ideas line? Those are also fan-made sets that get voted on and then made and sold. You'd probably have a way better chance of making it through if you submitted to that than BLD.And the final sets that get sold to the public get reworked a lot anyway (some more than others).Only thing I would say is that BLD is probably a victim of its own success. It used to be a much smaller endeavor until the last 2-3 series. At this point, there are too many same-y submissions, and some just look like they take some official Lego sets and sightly tweak them, or just take past BLD sets and slightly tweak them. All that said, Lego mostly refuses to do stuff like Castle and Pirates, so these are just about the only way to get large castles or large pirate ships anymore.
