>(Hard mode: no licenses)I'll start the ball rolling with a dumb idea I had ratting around in my brain for a while."Capsule Wars".Pretty simple; Roughly 1/35 scale simple plamo dieselpunk vehicles accompanied with semi-chibi (a bit like pic related proportionally) poseable minifigures. Obviously being SD the figures wouldn't exactly be scaled themselves but would be about 54mm to the top of their heads in keeping with the mushy 1/35 scale of the vehicles. The idea being you could absolutely display them with accessories and props from 1/35 scale models etc. Aesthetically the whole thing would be somewhat Artmic, somewhat Makoto Kobayashi/Dragon's Heaven, a hint of Ghibli and a light sprinkling of Akira Toriyama (mostly mechanical design, which he's highly underrated for IMO). The vehicle kits would each come with their crew, and additional figures could be purchased individually as Gashapon style blindboxes or in complete sets.
bump for interest

>>11813393Basically Link Travelers with a bigger emphasis on the vehicles? I'm down, I love my little capsule figures. I just built the whole flying jet-ski set the other day and it's a lot of fun to swoosh around. I wish the line itself wasn't virtually impossible to collect though, the majority of sets seem to be limited time online JP only exclusives. As for a toyline I'd love to make myself, it would be a 1:18 quasi sci-fantasy WWI aesthetic military line with a heavy focus on modular armored vehicles. Figures would be like your current standard 1:18 figures like ME Joes or Acid Rain stuff with a retro-future style designs. Almost military steampunk but not as hipstery. But the main focus would be on their vehicles, various armored transports going from smaller 4x4s and half-tracks to larger play set sized massive rolling command stations and ground carriers. But the majority of em would be mid sized tanks you could mix and match parts between to make your own custom vehicles. Engines, treads, armored cabs, turrets and gunner seats, all sorts of bits and bobs you could take off and mix between sets. It'd have like three different factions with their own colors and tank aesthetics, but parts would be reused and repainted to better combine with each other. It'd bring back the fun of being able to build your own vehicles, and actually encourage getting more to cross build and customize your armies.
>>11813393Highly Arriculated 6 inch figures made out of rubber bands, like the original GI Joe but with todays modern tech.Or tell Mego to get their damn head in the game and MAKE SOME ACTUAL PRODUCT
>>11813393The promo pics for this Super Cyborg CFTBL look awesome, makes me want a line of monsters/aliens that you can have on a dissection table, or like a cryo chamber. And it's powered by a usb powered LED in it so you can put a monster from the line in it and see them light up.Also, cavemen. Like that evolution walking picture - you get cro-magnon, neanderthal, real missing link looking dudes, the whole lot.
>>11814269I would love a caveman fantasy line. Cave men alongside prehistoric animals and mythological shit like bigfoot or werewolves
>>11819509I love more realistic generic figures. There are lots of great soldiers/knights/centurions you can buy, and skeletons, but still some gaps.>Caveman>Grey alien>Clown
4 inch figure line (poa tbd) that is modular as the main gimmick, think something like say Barbie with the main play aspect being dressing her in new outfits. So yeah, basic idea is a generic 4 inch figure line and you get a few pieces with each figure so you can kinda customize your guy or gal and then you can buy upgrade packs to further build your figure. The upgrade packs could have a blind box aspect but the packs will be themed in generic ways like snow or deep sea or teacher etc etc etc. As far as licensing goes, ideally the figures would be popular enough that companies come to us to pitch a collaborative figure or upgrade pack. I know I'm not re inventing the wheel with this idea but I'd try to focus on being affordable for parents and kids and really push the modular aspect of the figures so that these wouldn't be boy toys or girls toys, just toys for kids to play with and be creative with. You want to build a fireman? Would you like to have a teacher with a zombie arm or a robot family? That kind of spirit y'know, where you give the kids the pieces and let them build what they want and of course there would be instructions and specific builds since some kids prefer that over the anxiety of a pile a parts and no way to know they did it "right".
>>11819762>grey aliensJust thought I'd recommend pic related
>>11819866I'm really after some deluxe 6 inch ones. Those are pretty cool though, I was thinking of just buying some simple ones to sneak into the display. I might look for some similar glow in the dark ones.
>>11819944Someone just did a Cryptids KS which included Aliens, but they're only 4" tall in the 1/12 scale line.
