For some reason nothing gets me excited like opening a mcfarlane. I don't get it. The articulation is known to be bad. But each figure is a new mystery box. What will the range be this time? What small details will only be noticeable in person? For something like MLs there are a lot more consistent ranges and articulation so its more of a procedure.

So Postman Wes got my Azrael (Batman™Armor) from the evil people in the St Louis USPS distribution facility and it's a darker shade of blue than the gold label version. I was expecting some sort of vault marking on the box but I guess the lack of the gold label marking on the box should be obvious to most that this is a reprint.

So far there's been continuity in figure sizes which is a huge weakness of Mcfarlane where there has been Robins taller than Batmen. I prefer some of Mcfarlane's articulation scheme but the knees and elbows on Core look better. Honestly my expectations were on the floor with how bad Mattel's Multiverse was and the play features like Batman's removable belt that can hold three gadgets sold me. I hope we get a lot of guys like Green Arrow and Hawkman which Mcfarlane hasn't delivered regular versions of.
