does anyone know where i can get these specific darts? specifically nerf brand, specifically of this color? they seem to be vintage and/or no longer in production because for the life of me i cannot find a listing for these anywhere, except the ones with purple suction cups for some reason. in my experience nerf brand darts stick the best and i don't really trust the quality of other brands
Nerf hasn't made suction darts in like 15 years so you're gonna have to rely on secondhand places like Ebay.Although, and I don't mean this as an insult, but I get the impression you're not well versed in Nerf or other toy dart guns (I'm not fucking calling them "blasters") because Nerf hasn't been the flag bearer of quality for a long time. Admittedly most people and brands are more focused on the competitive side of things with stuff like waffle-tipped half darts, but just doing a quick search Dart Zone apparently put out a retro line specifically with suction darts recently. While I can't vouch for the quality of those in particular, DZ's usually the go-to brand these days so it's probably good enough. Better than buying decades-old rotted foam on Ebay, anyway.
>>11817623i'm only looking for these darts for part of a cosplay tbf (picrel). i searched dart zone but they don't seem to have this color
>>11817581>>11817686If it's for a cosplay, do you really need to care about the suction cup quality?Go to the toy aisle of any Dollar General- type store and you'll find plenty of knock-off dart launchers with an included set of darts. You can probably find some in yellow.
>>11817756yes because i actually want to use them because they're fun and i want to faithfully adapt the source material
>>11817848Then you are not "only looking for these darts for part of a cosplay", nor are you then b-ing f.you're looking to use them. and the fact is, foam rots, and adhesive dries up. Hell, my last nerf gun was in like 1996 and the darts lasted 5 or 6 uses til their cups came off.
>>11817581I'm not sure , sorry
Dollar Tree used to sell these darts years ago, but I would be shocked if any location still had them in stock. Aside from them, maybe check your area drug stores and thrift stores.
>>11817581You can find ones that look like this on aliexpress, I searched "nerf suction darts".If "western companies no longer make this because it's dangerous or offensive", you can be sure china is trying to fill the gap.
