You beg your parents to get it, you fork over some birthday money or get it as a gift... however you got this figure back then it was extremely exciting at first glance. Then you open it so you can pull it out and start having an epic TMNT figure throwdown with your new prestigious Leonardo action figure. Then the reality hits. It can't move. You can't take the swords out of the hands. You can't even take it off of the base. In confusion you grab the packaging to see if there's something you missed. It's called a Collector Turtle. It says it includes two swords and a metallic sewer base. The word "statue" is used zero times on the packaging. The only thing you read that somewhat implies it's nature is where the back says "He's ready to be displayed" but the implication of that statement doesn't reveal itself until after you've taken it out of the box. You go to look at the toy again, thinking maybe the joints are just stuck or something and boy are they. It is a Leonardo action figure... but they glued the joints. They took a Leonardo figure that could move and purposely made it stationary. You're crushed. Your epic win is denied, your money is wasted, your birthday is ruined, etc. That's the experience many people had with this product. See also: pic related for context
