Nintendo Lost editionWhatcha gettin anon?
That's pretty sick that they come with the weapons. Definitely want Relaxaurus.

>>11821958The shrine thing?
>>11821775Is the game even still popular? Thought it kinda died
>>11821971I "beat" it years ago but it's still in beta, and we're waiting for the finished 1.0 release. The truth is that the game isn't that great, it's not that bad neither, but it is the loudest voice against the Nintendo's "law firm" culture.
>>11821853kinda but not really. if you got mad about it that's very funny tho>>11821824was thinking about him to run with some other Kaiju figs but he's a little short imo, think it said 4"?>>11821956>>11821958hard agree, they need this license and they'll probably get it
>>11821971>>11821977It's become kind of a gooner thing as far as I can tell. I had fun with it for like the first two months after launch, and then the next time I had played they had really fucked up the way you catch and send out Mons cuz of the lawsuit and the game felt shittier for it. I'm also not one to sit in something like that forever and ever though.
>>11821971Palworld faggots are solely invested in it as a way of seething about Pokemon, as seen in this OP
>>11821969Pokemon held a card tournament thing at a shrine that has Japanese soldiers. China threw a fit due to war crime stuff so Blokees (Chinese company) stoped doing Pokemon stuff
>>11822019Pokemon faggots seem eternally rump ravaged about Palworld simply existing, and parading this interesting but truthfully mid game around is a fun and easy way to farm engagement from Nintentoddlers
>>11821971It has some good porn mods if you're into that. Otherwise it's kinda just one of those generic "fun with friends" games, which isn't a horrible thing
>>11821775Relaxaurus looks silly so I got that one.
>>11822030I think what really fucks the Pokemon people up is that actually can't even say their games are any better. They're arguably worse.
>>11821775>nintendo lostpocketpair has been ordered to pay nintendo 30k USD which is isnt a lot but they only demanded 75K to begin with. anyways these look like shit and for $20??????? you can buy the Blokees meowscarada for $15 and actually get a diorama set with it. what the fuck is this jewyness
>>11822060no, they might end up paying $30k if they lose the remaining suits, which doesn't seem likely at this point.
>>11821969ignore this retard >>11821958blokees cannot proceed with their pokemon line because of chinese military retardation, not because blokees "hates" pokemon. pokemon did an event at a shrine that was dedicated to WW2 victims, naturally japanese soldiers would be there. china military then chimps out. You can still see pokemon on blokee's main chinese site https://www.blokees.com.cn/index
>>11822069They'll probably make more pokemon figures when the drama over it dies down.

>>11822019>every reply to this post angrily confirmed itlmaoIt's weird how there's this grifting submarket that subsists solely on people who hate Nintendo but desperately want their games.
>>11821940Fuck yeah
>>11822019It's a fun multiplayer survival game you can play with friends.I'm a Pokemon fan but Pokemon literally doesn't have a game to fill that niche.
>>11822124Imagine making this post and not realizing how stupid you are.
>>11822149For real, notice how all the Nintendo hate suddenly tripled when people realized they couldnt pirate switch 2 games?
>>11821775No thanks
Glad it's getting merch. Wish the totally-not-mewtwo was getting more than a mini figure though.
The prices of all of these seem really high. $20 for a 3" figures that's minimally articulated with mostly cuts seems absurd. The accessories are a nice touch, at least. $10 1.5" figure blind box and $25 1.5" with 2 berries(?) blind box seems even crazier.
>>11822281They're not very good designs
>>11822286This is not what I expected, but it looks like they aren't simply being marketed as blind box figures, they look like they are going for that weird mystery egg market, with the containers holding multiple figures. Which is unfortunate for collectors cause that just means a price hike and superfluous packaging.
>>11822220It's just Ark
>>11822290i promise you no one will collect this lol
>>11822295That's kind of my point.
>>11822295If I see them at the dollar store I might. They look pretty nice from these promo shots. Definitely not at full price though.
>>11821940I did this too, but I had a Yugioh side as well for a three way battle.Brand wars had a different meaning for me as a kid.
>>11822286Loyal Subjects stuff is always overpriced for what you get.
Whats the appeal of this? I don't see the toys selling if its a game made for gooners.
>>11822313Well, I could see it working if they focused on the ones popular with gooners...
>>11822315>Well I could get a chunky ol' boner and see how it could appeal to gooners down over at target and walmart for the gooner audience that dont leave their homes and goon all day in vr chat
>>11822304Bst Axn was priced pretty well. Aside from those ya, I remember their old 5 poa SD style figures being priced higher than they should have been.
>>11822315Kill yourself, dumb furfaggot.
>>11822321are they really selling these are walmart and target?
>>11821775Every time I look at these I think of Chinpokomon. I keep thinking I'll see the lamb with the arm cannon.
>>11822288I really dont see much of a difference between Palworld designs and most post Gen 5 Pokemon designs
>>11821775If they were cheaper they might have stood a chance. Maybe they'll take off once the anime releases? As is I'm not that interested.
>>11822397>the anime releasesWhat the fuck
>>11822394Digimon actually beat them to having a shoe monster funnily. The lesser known Spectrobes series had one prior to that though.
>>11822400Yeah Pocketpair isnt fucking around anon. They're fully committed to taking Palworld the full nine yards. The anime is just step one in the larger multimedia plan. I'm pretty sure there were already talks of a movie.
>>11822400>>11822472there is no anime. Sony Music just partnered up with Palworld through Aniplex (known for anime) and that just means expanding the IP into various potential media (potentially anime). there are zero (0) actual announcements for any anime or film. It has almost been 2 years since the partnership, and we have heard nothing from it. likely has something to do with the fact that player counts plummeted only months after release
>>11822395>he thinks gen 5 designs are goodlol, zoomer
The deluxe style ones with the weapons look okay but the surprise egg stuff looks kinda lame.
>>11822302I wanted that too. But Yugioh nor Duel Masters weren't vast enough
>>11822394That reminds me, I want Chinpokomon toys too to defeat the evil power. I can't believe they never bothered to merch them even with Fractured But Whole
>>11821775>20 dollarsHa ha ha be seeing these in the bargain bin>>11821971Not really no, the actual game is just a generic survival game and it's literally only kept alive by being an toothless edgy Pokemon with guns bootlegs
>>11822069>chinese military retardationThe Chinese government seems insanely thin skinned.
>>11822708Not only that, it's hilariously bootleggy. Regardless of whether the Pals were actually frankensteined from Pokemon models or not (I suspect they were, they're absurdly close to the point what differences there are could easily have been just slight retopologizing to try and cover their tracks), they all look like Temu Pokemon, and not even particularly original ones. And they're the least knockoffy thing in the game- the rest of it is just premade assets, and nothing looks like it belongs together.I get that modern Pokemon isn't very good (though I do have cautious optimism for Winds and Waves from what we've seen) but that doesn't make Palworld less absolute slop.
>>11823014I mean, that doesn't really bother me. You're talking to a guy who literally bought a bootleg not-figuarts Captain Planet.
>>118230473p toys are nearing the point of being better than licensed stuff at this point. The World of Warcraft figures chinks put out are pretty incredible.
>>11823047goddammit I just learned about this and now i cant find it anywhere
>>11823055which is why it's such a shame that china's military cockblocked blokees from making more pokemon. we could have trainers by now. blokees charizard is on par with SHF charizard at only a fraction of the price. chinese companies are the future
>>11823055Not to mention a lot of Chinese groups are smartly going for IPs that don't have good modern alternatives.
>>11823093Wait why is Pokemon a problem but not Ultraman?
>>11823165Because it was a pokemon event
>>11823060sorry anon that ones from nearly a year ago now, pic related should help you turn up some results. Have not checked prices at all.
>>11823172checked, not horrifying but also absolutely none for sale anywhere currently that I could find
all i see is some assmad drones now that nintendo is losing the lawsuit and had all of the patents thrown in the trash
>>11821775I wish these where abiut the size of the old tomy Pokemon figures make of that same kinda plastic. The articulation seems unnecessary and the guns and canons would look cool at that scale.
>>11823182Fuck me, I forgot all about it. I'm surprised nobody here even talked much about it too
Sorry about the mess /toy/ I'm here to pick up resident schizo from /v/BALDY! *whistle* HERE BOY!Cool toys btw
>>11823654The guns and other things wouldn't even work at that scale. Are you being serious? Besides, lil figures aren't made like that any more. Painting is one of the most expensive parts of the process so now its easier to have things large enough so the various parts can be cast in the correct colors as much as possible.
>>11823603Yeah you're a big enough retard to think that.
>>11821940Sometimes i wanna start collecting pokemon but im not sure which ones to buy, pokemon select seems pretty good but i know some popular Pokemon get to be in higher quality brands, then there’s trying to have some sense of scale, and they’ll probably need their own shelf because there’s a ton of them
>>11824756Just get what you can. Been collecting for 26 years and no company has ever been perfect when it comes to scale. It also helps to google, but know that pokemon collecting is a money sink no different from any other longtime toyline
>>11824780Nice shelf
>>11821853Nah, this is a Palworld thread. I don't see anybody talking about troll dolls here.
>>11822141>pokemon continues to sell millionsSlopfags are going to slop, thanks for proving my point you Godless retard.
>>11823654I think the blind box ones are about that size.
>>11824916>Slopfags are going to slopisnt that palworld and its bargain bin 5 point articulation toys?
go back to /v/
>>11822482Some of you people come on here and extract whatever meaning you want from other people's comments. I dont really like any of the designs post gen 2, but palworld's library of monsters all look like the sort of shit pokemon began to release once I stopped caring about the franchise.
>>11821775Relaxsaurus for me.
Pokemon lost.
>>11822291I forgot the part in Ark where the Dinosaurs build AKs for you.
>>11825567>Boring generic shit made of mismatched 3D object store assets with cobbled-together barely retopologized Pokemon meshes being the closest thing to original content in the game made by crypto-chinks funded by actual chinksvs>Barely functional glitchfest with shitty graphics and a terrible artstyle shift compared to previous games (seriously at least SwSh had decent art direction) made by what is effectively still an indie teamI dunno, neither of these are great. Then again, Winds and Waves actually looks kinda alright from what we've seen.
>>11825847>Aesthetically pleasing image with contemporary graphics quality >Built with off the shelf components by a few japs>Ugly image with graphics on par with the N64/Dreamcast>Made with 100% custom assets and infinite budget and manpower That makes it even more embarrassing for Pokémon
>>11825567how do you feel knowing that Pokemon will get high-quality Blokees kits while palworld gets $20 bargain bin fillers?
>>11825847It's just a "fine, ill do it myself" product vs "Nintendo innovating for the first time again". This generation is such a mess
>>11827167No it's not, Palworld is like the 4th time they made the same game they just decided to rip off pokemon with the designs because none of their other games had any staying power, Palworlds relevancy is only due to Pokemon being so big and retards spazzes out over it using Palworld as ammo
>>11827179You mean all the previous games were monster tamers too? I just thought they were Ark clones
>>11825567>>11825567>An ugly game from 2024 that runs on PS5 and computers.>An ugly game from 2022 that runs on a console barely more powerful than a toaster. You cannot ignore that the Switch is infinitely less powerful than a computer or a PS5, therefore the comparison becomes hardly relevant.
>>11825567If you want to make comparisons, let's take Beasts of Reincarnation, which is designed to run on the same consoles as Palworld. It's immediately a different level.
>>11827180The one before Palworld, craftopia also had monsters you captured and used for production, they quite literally just decided to try again with a direct pokemon clone to get attention
performative thread
Will they be bold enough to do lovander and the other fan service Pals?
>>11824780Blokees Nidoking is so fucking cool. Might actually be my favorite Pokemon figure ever made.
>>11830629I don't own the Blokees yet, actually. But I want it
>>11821775>>11821971So this is what, some sort of Pokemon KO line?Wake me up with it has Chinese KO prices, like $2-4 for each of these things, not fucking $20.If I can get Chinese KO LEGO sets for $2-3, versus the fucking $15-$19, why the fuck would I consent to pay $20 for KO Pokemon shit?
>>11821958>>11821956>>11822069>>11822088I just want them to make a Snorflax so I can fucking get one for like $19.99.
>>11823047>who literally bought a bootleg not-figuarts Captain Planet.>>11823172>>11823182Yeah I bought one for my Secret Santa one year, when it was on sale somewhere, like $28? It looked well made for a knock off.
>>11831777thank you retard-kun
>>11823014A palworld developer got nuked on twitter for whistleblowing about the fact higher ups threatened them with less pay or worse if they didnt plagiarize pokemon in some way, as much as I dislike palworld I feel bad for some of the people who had to work on it since they apparently genuinely wanted to put in original designs but were told no.
>>11831903I heard they made them eat babies
i heard palworld lost 99% of its playerbase
>>11831880
>>11832103Pokémon games lose 100% of their players when the next yearly title releases.
>>11821775That doesn't look good, sorry
>>11831903That was fake news by a disgruntled mf
>>11832307Surprisingly untrue, people are still doing gimmick runs in every generation, though of course the competitive scene either migrates to the latest game or uses simulators.
>>11832307the sales numbers say otherwise. Also notice how BDSP is the highest of the remakes, and it's the most useless remake
>>11832398idiots buying awful, cheap looking plastic is 90% of /toys/ anon
>>11834148>Also notice how BDSP is the highest of the remakesDepressing. Wasn't that one outsourced to a phone game company?
>>11834148Sinnohbabies really will slurp up any fucking garbage as long as it has SINNOOOOOOOOOOH
why are video game retards this autistic about sales numbers? this is a board for toys it doesnt matter here
>>11832612>>11834148>Thinking sales equates to concurrent playersPlayer counts crater when New Pokémon releases, this is apparent in every yearly franchise like COD. Total playerbase is estimate 50 million in mainline versus Palworld's 35 Million. A handful of fags playing romhacks doesn't mean old Gen is popular either.
>>11834489They need the mental gymnastics to prove that Pokémon is still on top, the loss of the lawsuit rattled them. Imagine if you told someone in the 90s that an unfinished Unreal survival game was doing flagship Pokémon numbers.
>>11834568if you look at concurrent player numbers for palworld, its fucking grim. they lost 99% of players in the first 5 months after release and theyre just coasting off 50k players max for the last 1.5 years. Palworld 1.0 comes in 10 days and I highly doubt it will do anywhere near launch numbers. i'll be surprised if it breaks 300k CCU but it'll just fall back after a month just like in 2024. it should tell you something that out of Aniplex's deal from 2 years ago, all palworld had to show for from that deal is 5-point articulation bargain bin toys. people really thought theyre getting an anime lol
>>11834571Pokémon Reddit during a news drought, with a main game coming out in late 2027 VERSUS Palworld Reddit during a period packed with reveals, with the final version launching in 10 days.
>>11834836>curiosity is not fidelitythe defenders of slopworld haven't grasped that
>>11834571>Imagine if you told someone in the 90s that an unfinished Unreal survival game was doing flagship Pokémon numbers. They wouldn't believe you, and they'd be right. I know you've emotionally invested yourself in the idea that POKEMON LOST, for whatever reason, but the numbers just don't add up.
>>11834489It's poker autistic, their autistic rage at the series they claim to like knows no bounds.>>11834571Once such autist, living in a lala land where pokemon isn't still one of the biggest franchises in the world
A copy can never become number one unless it stops copying and tries to establish its own identity.
>>11834878Fortnite beat PUBG, Azure Lane beat Kancolle
>>11834836>>11834872>>11834847Nobody ever said they were surpassing Pokémon, that's impossible as its the biggest IP in the world. But 25 million sales is about as much as a Switch Pokémon and establishes Palworld as a legitimate competitor, moreso than any other creature collector made in the last 30 years. Digimon, Yugioh, Beyblade,Bakugan, Spectrobes, Monster Rancher don't even get close, they barely clear 1 million sales per title. Closest competitor we had beforehand was Persona but that was 30 million LIFETIME sales. Creature collector genre isn't a one man genre anymore, and now we know Palworld is #2.
>>11834568>>11834571>>11834836What's the difference? The number still increases per gen. Numbers drop too? Hardly 100%, but then SwSh is still somehow 2nd highest. Palworld should still succeed anyway
>>11835028>Nobody ever said they were surpassing Pokémonnobody WAS saying that. fags like you think this boogeyman is haunting palworld. the way you downplay every single one of those IP says a lot.>Palworld is #2It's cute, really. Palworld sales is 15 million. 10 million from Gamepass. Thats why the revenue is $500 million. All of this bulked in the launch window and has remained stagnant ever since. Wake me up when they hit a $1 billion and join the big boys club. Even Dragon Quest Monsters series being a subset within the DQ franchsie has hit $2 billion lol and that's not even near Digimon. Good luck with the 1.0. doubt it'll do numbers. Better hope no live service game is dropping a new season that time
>>11835028oh also just wanna LOL at the fact that you think palworld is above yugioh. you have no idea how much money it makes do you?
>>11835319>The Yu-Gi-Oh! video game franchise has sold over 32.5 million units across physical and premium console titles. >There are exactly 59 official Yu-Gi-Oh! video games developed and published by Konami.>Average 550K per title That's pretty pathetic considering how old the series is, how much media it has and how the majority of those games had physical store presence.>B-but cardsI'll only compare with toys and games because that's what all three share in common. Sony will release Palcards next year and we can shit on those then.
>>11835315I've always found it stupid to count Game Pass, because people buy Game Pass for many other reasons.
>>11835824Gamepass sales spiked in that month, even then Xbox is known for overpaying for gamepass access, Palworld likely made more money with that deal than what they would have if they sold those copies traditionally.
>>11835614>b-but gameswake me up palworld reaches digimon's original numbers okay? oh and none of goypass bullshit lole. palworld is a comfortable bottom 3 monster catcher "franchise" right now. probably not gonna do well with all those landfill toys warming the shelves
>>11836913>Virtual petsDigimon aren't video games, Tamagotchi sold over 100 million of those Keychain toys. Actual Digimon games like Cybersleuth and Time Stranger struggle to break 1 million units.
