I was curious about the "300€ figures" mentionned in the last thread, I might check it out this weekend.
>>11823744I'm guessing they're some huge statues like you often see in those Dragon Ball collections, not listed on MFC or anywhere else. Dunno who makes those.
I would like Zacian and Zamazenta Pokepla to be 4.5 or 5 inches tall
>>11823204>The smash bros...and Infernape
>>11823204>favorite pokemon is Arbok>no good figures Being a best snake fan is suffering
>>11824904I want a nice Arbok and Weezing for my Team Rocket SHF. Ekans & Koffing would do, too.
Anyone know of 1/12th sized poke balls for action figures?
pokemon plushies allowed? id love to post mine
>>11825595I wish.I bought a bag full of tiny styrofoam balls for a buck to paint someday lol
>>11825699I looked around the store today trying to find beads that were half white/red but no luck.
Went out for a walk, thought to take my Blokees Squirtle with me and snap some photos in the countryside. I love these little guys, scale be damned.

>>11826023I love nature and Pokemon.
>>11825638You won't ever find me asking for permission!
>>11826201very well
>>11823204Scale World has launched pre-orders for Dialga; it is expected to measure 10.62 inches in height. Making it the largest official Dialga figure
>>11823204>>11827186The same goes for Palkia Scale World, but he should be 8.26 inches tall. The largest official Palkia figure ever created
>>11827186>>11827187>13k yen ea>"candy toy"Bandai, there comes a point where you might wanna drop the label.
>>11827213Yes, I agree that the "candy toy" label doesn't really make sense anymore. In any case, I'm really happy with this release; these are literally the best toys from Dialga and Palkia.
>>11827213We're totally buying it for that premium gum first and the toy second.
Is there a particular reason why this set is so fucking expensive? I got both the Charizard and Bulbasaur sets for 50 on ebay but this one alone goes for well over 150. Was it a rare set or something?
>>11827296Guess just OoP.Even fucking Abra went for 5x the price last I checked.
>>11827186>>11827187Based.
>>11823744Well it was dissapointing. I expected a part in the mall dedicated to pop culture but it was not the case... I've seen better stuff around "République", they have a lot of shops with anime stuff/pokémon related merchs. Picrel is the only thing related to pokémon that I could find. Perhaps the other statues were bought.
>>11827186>>11827187They look so fucking good. I'm glad I started collecting figures close to that size, i've been disappointed only once (that ridiculously small fug...). I might try to take the Darkrai as well.
>>11827296Might be the piece count too? I mean look at all the parts you need to build the head
>>11827376>>11827186>>11827187>fail worldbarf
>>11827296The first relase with beedrill was oftenly on sale so I don't know maybe search for that one instead
>>11827376Getting this for shaymin and Darkrai. Also ordered dialga and palliative. I have koraidon and miraidon and they are pretty nice.
>>11827213Imagine not wanting p-bandai gum. It has the same effect as dolphin semen. Iykyk
>>11827186>>11827187I could've swore there were bigger ones than those. But looking it up, seems I just remember the Jakks ones being bigger than they were.
Might put him next to my Dragon Quest Golem.
>>11827376Yeah, they're cool. I bought Dialga and Palkia; I'm thinking about getting the Cyrus figure too.
>>11827842this dude didn't get released yet? I thought it was on display at a toy show like 2 years ago. Did the pre evolved form get released yet at least?
>>11827376Might have to get this only for the P-Z figure.

>>11827926Golurk still on "this year", Golett TBD.
Just noticed Blokees' twitter got nuked. The question now is if they deleted it themselves or not.
How do i buy S.H. figuarts team rocket pack for less than 500 dollars?
>>11829262got to when they were sitting on Amazon, heavily discounted and no one wanted them. Just like Ash
>>11827187the most beautiful and largest dialga/palkia figures of all time
>>11829262For the record, Jessie sucks because her unposable hair affects her posing
do you think Pokemon figuarts would do better now? Or is there just not a market for 60 dollar Pokemon figs
>>11829663No market. Even the cheaper figs are a hard sell to the general public. most only want plush and cards. A new round of any higher end Pokemon figs like figuarts or figma would be more expensive than $60 anyway so they would have a hard time doing well. Figma Raihan was a $70 figure and when it came out 6 years ago and is also still in stock after all these years
>>11829663>>11829687I think they can do well now but they absolutely cannot go in with the mentality of promoting current region/games. The people that buy this category of merch want the old familiar stuff. You can see by the after market prices of Red and Ash and how people ask for reissues of them. Like figuarts take on Yugioh, just do Yugi/Kaiba, key monsters and go from there. Another Raihan would just send the line back to sleep.
>>11829687Though with Raihan, it's because no one asked for him besides fujos who didn't buy plastic. Gloria apparently hung around a bit in the US center too, but both of them also had lackluster QC. Aftermarket, Raihan still sucks and is regularly on sale wherever he's still in stock. He was a 11k limited release.2ndhand Mandarake:>Red - 45k w/ bonus, 33k without>Lillie - 34k w/ bonus, 29k yen without>Selene - 20k w/ bonus, 13k without>Gloria - 15k >Marnie - 11k w/ bonus, 8k without>Raihan - 7,5k
>>11829721That ordering is about what I would've expected except for Marnie and Gloria. Thought those two would be about the same all things considered but Gloria seems to be a decent amount higher. But also for what it's worth I own Gloria but not Marnie so maybe not too surprising.
>>11829721>mfw got none of the bonuses and just bought a moncolle pikachu and rotom dex for Red & Selene instead
>>11829721Raihan was a goddamn mistake. Fujos don't buy toys, but now they know
Hey so I have the original Figuarts Mewtwo (with Mew) and Charizard, are there better versions I could get of those nowadays while also reselling my current ones for too much?
>>11830060There's VAH Mewtwo with best articulation, but it's shorter. Also replace Charizard with the Blokees. It's the same toy but the sculpt is correct.this time
Need better options for Mew Two.
>>11830064looks like I pass on that Mewtwo (it looks better but I'm not paying tree hundo) and sell my Charizard, ty anon
>>11830068Tomy 5in figure is a decent size to go with Blokees charizard but it's articulation isn't great.
>>11830068
What's going on with the jazwares select scizor and Charizard y? Only a single target got 1 shipment in my city and only the scizor with multiple qc problems. Nothing else and no other targets got anything.
>>11830922I think they're being scalped alongside the Target exclusive merch. I had to reserve a pick up at an out of town store because shipping was out
>>11830922all the stores got them, the scalpers just got all the charizards on the days of the drops. Just buy it online. The charizard has come back in stock every few days since it first released
>>11830927charizard is in stock right now even
>>11830922because it's poor quality
Fucking finally. Releases next month.https://www.target.com/p/pok-233-mon-6-34-super-articulated-figure-blastoise/-/A-94972386?
>>11831094We haven't even gotten Scizor here yet, their awful distribution man.
>>11827376I ordered this for Weavile but I'm surprised by how cheap it was, is there some sort trick at play?Bandai ever reissue these? If I like this I'd like to get some of the out of stock ones like Gengar and Nidoking.
>>11831489No tricks but first time buyers are often surprised by how small they actually are. Weavile might be around the size of a standard moncolle.
>>11831366Better not be a European bitching again. You guys get every single wave of two pack, three pack, 4", poke ball and epic all available for pre order. In the states the 6" are the only things that actually get pre orders and are easy to acquire. Everything else has to be bought form scalpers online.
>>11831366>>11831510they stole our garchomps too. Now im scared we wont get it since Blastoise is next month already
My toy collection is mostly heroes and robots but after seeing some of the Pokemon select stuff i realize it’d be really fun to pose some figures with pokemon,i guess i’ll start by getting a big mon like dragonite or a legendary and then try to keep a decent scale around it, is not like scale matters to much now that size difference is a visible thing in gamesAlso kinda tempted to make a little pikachu figurine collection, i saw they made figures for the ash cap pikachu and a bucnh of normal ones in cute poses
>>11827186>>11827187>>11827376Scale World won again
>>11831917That's kinda what I do, the minifigs are the focus and there's a handful of medium and large figures that complement them. The big epic battle Venusaur is a nice one to put a bunch of small grass pokes around
>>11831489The smaller ones are actually quite affordable. The big or rare ones however can quickly reach absurd prices. >>11832282As usual. A nice thing is that they can scale well with a lot of other brands.
>>11830922i asked the same question last thread, but apparantly the Charizard fucking sucks. If you go to the target page, literally all of the Reviews are 1starring it saying the tail was broken out of the box or the figure broke or some shit. I watched one youtube review as well, and the guys tail also broke immediately. and the faggot still tried to say it was good lol. i obviously wanted it to have all 3 charizards. But I'm just not interested in buying dogshit just because it's the only option.>>11831094still debating on this guy. He'll probably have Tyranitar like articulation. probably hard to fuck up too bad, but alredy having the Figuarts that looks wayyyy better, this one will have the size to actually match jazzwares Charizard/Venusaur.... hmmm
>>11831094First time seeing Champions Blastoise I was like "hey that's the Select figure". Basically a one to one of modern looking Blastoise.
Can anyone ID these? Apparently they’re blind pokeball coin bank toys but need to find a listing
>>11827213It's literally so they can sell it in candy stores.
where are ppl finding Pinsir in USA? I'm seeing pics online but no stores have had any new 4" ones in a long time
How do i go about finding collectors to sell super valuable old pokemon plushies? Are there websites, or some well known brick and mortar stores?Ebay is a joke these days
>>11833848Keep checking every Gamestop. I saw one Aerodactyl at least and never again.
Blokees or bandai? Her model kits are very cheap on amazon im almost scared i could get a bootleg but reviews say they are legit, im new to pokemon figures
>>11834027Blokees feels more solid but it's shorterBandai is taller but feels fragile for being a plamo
>>11834027Get both. Size and color differ enough, and the plamo's cheap anyways. If you get other kits you can also do silly shit like picrel.
>>11834027Blockees meowscarada is going for $12 on aliexpress last I saw.
>>11834027>>11834193Posted too quick, meant to add that if you want the pokepla you should stalk mercari japan/yahoo auctions. Some good customs pop up every now and then. I got a couple with shiny colors and one with base colors. Almost got a couple customs with titties added but they got bought up too fast
>>11834027Plamo are not really toy parts pop out too easily and they could basically fall apart in your hands while holding them. The most recent ones have a nice plastic finish tho making them look much better than your regular western pokemon figure Scale wise is the best Meowscarada for 1/12 if you care about that but they don't really follow a scale. Scizor it's quite tiny in comparison
Turns out the long rumored pokeball set with the 5 molded kanto starters got another price increase and it will only include pikachu and eevee molds
>>11823204My LDCX infernape just broke and I didn't even do anything to it I picked him up to take a photo and then noticed the part being already split in two halves then after moving the arm both just fell apart what the fuck. At least the arm is still in place but for how long lol
>>11834558the plastic on those is not very nice feeling. They painted a lot of it various colors instead of using plastic created in that color too. I haven't really touched Lucario or Infernape since I got them because it feels like paint will start coming off. The Blokees are so much better in every single way. I hope that line continues
>>11834558I feel this way about my Charizards and their arms.
>>11834437SOVLESS
>>11834406Scizor Select isnt really better. Loose joints everywhere
>>11834644I still don't know what's up with blokees deleting their global socials, only their US one remains.
>>11834864People are starting to realize how bad they are
>>11835348Blokees? Blokees are all really great.
>>11835432Ni hao, Chong Qing
Jazwares qc spammer isn't here but now we have another schizo having yet another meltdown about blokees
>>11835487Yeah it's wild, the slightest criticism of blokees and here he is with BLOKEES ARE REALLY GREAT HONORABLE ANON
>>11835489nta but i've never even really seen much hate for pokemon blokees online. They seem to get pretty much universal praise. Why do you hate them?
>>11833848Pinsir was at Books a Million for me.
>>11835781nice, another store that is only in parts of the country. are distributions actually getting worse lately?

Stinks since they are so expensive there. Clips are $17 each...>>11835794Seems like it. Distribution has always been wonky but with Target dropping the Clip N Go line from stores and Walmart hardly stocking any new waves of anything from 2025 or 2026, it's really rough for US collectors.
>>11834766Jazwares has always had poor QC.
Are there any pokopia figures yet? I wanna get a tiny peakychu in the scale of tomy or jazwares
>>11835961still better than Scizor
>>11835432>>11835348Yes, blokees aren't perfect, but overall they're very good. It's not like jaz, which is really bad
>>11823204I wish they made toys of morde pokemons.
>>11836321True.
After searching online this is how each brand looks to me before starting my collection >Blokees very good models, good size, and affordable some also include nice extras for a diorama, very posable unfortunately very new so not a lot of pokemon>TOMY will have a figure for absolutely every pokemon ever, a lot of them even have multiple, everything is tiny and no articulation in most of them probably good to get for any starter sized pokemon >Jazwares: don’t have everything but still a lot of pokemon, select line seems good to get big pokemon, battle ready line is good for medium and small sized pokemon, a final evo in battle ready will never be as good as it’s select version, also jazwares has a few QC issues >high quality small scale and very expensive figures includes trainers, probably looks amazing if you are rich and lucky enough to get a region’s full setThere’s more stuff like the bandai models and some s.h figurarts but the ones i mentioned seem to be the ones that will always be making more pokemonIm sure by cherry picking from each one a collection can look super good and have nice scaling i’ll get a tomy peakychu as soon as she comes out on august
>>11836028Takara tomy announced moncolle and some figure doll thingies. The moncolle has some singles and a multi pack release iirc
>>11836418Tomy is a good place to start for small Pokemon. They haven't actually made everything, the later gens are missing a lot but they have made a ton. Jazwares fills a lot of the holes, Tomy and Jazwares together will get you most of the little guys.

>>11837576Head or so taller than Tomy?
>>11837587we don't even know anything new from the video
>>11837587The battle feature one is 11cm to the black ear and Red is about 13cm. Seems like Select would be a little taller than Tomy but not by a lot.

>>11839223I have, I just presume Fantastics is the plamo thing the other lines do
>>11839266Is not, is the line they use for full fledged action figures. The last Fantastics series Miku is not even in pieces, is literally a whole figure in a blister
>>11839278Just checking. Thank you.
>>11839223everyone who compares them to Plamo has never bought a Blokees. The Plamo crap is hollow, cheap plastic that uses stickers and stuff. Blokees are traditional figures fully painted, just ones that you've got to pop together yourself. Calling them model kits isn't really fair.
>>11839278This one?Guess assembling finally became cheap enough for them lol.>>11839457Yeah. They're literally just unassembled figures, not plamo.
>>11839457You mean the non-Fantastics series are actually good? because they look like they have the same assembly and flaws of plamohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9bziiWmm7g
>>11839685Those are not the Fantastics line. Those are the cheaper Champion line and those look crappier. We are talking about the Pokemon ones here and all of the Pokemon ones are very high quality and more like real figures than a model kit
>>11839708For the record then, I appreciate the Pokemon blokees because they are NOT plamo. Any point that they end up being actual plamo (especially being on sprues), then i will hate them. I have the plamo Gardevoir, Garchomp, Armarouge and Greninja and I hate them
>>11839726The Large size Pokémon are legit soft plastic vinyl action figures. They're literally just build a figures in one set. The smaller Pokémon are slightly more hard plastic, hollow feeling, but they still have a much higher quality feel to them. I don't quite know how to explain it. They must have just used a better type of plastic or something. They almost feel like a mid way between a model kit and an action figure. They also come in detached pieces not on sprues.
And there you have it
>>11839904Ok, looks neat.Price won't be though.Also sucks they used a Picnicker instead of Gary/Blue.
LMAO
>>11839962It's $300
>>11839904That person here that's always looking for small pokeballs can grab some of these, assuming they're more available in smaller sets later.

>>11840930Well yea that was more for this >>11837587 trying to figure out how tall Incineroar was compared to Tomy. I recall a photo of someone putting Red and Ash next to a early Blastoise they somehow got.
>>11840852Damn, the articulation on Blastoise is genuinely great. Kudos to them.Incin looks kinda wonky, though, and it might just be how used to the Smash model I am. That static tail is kind of a dealbreaker.
>>11841113One thing I do like about the Incineroar is the articulated fingers. They add a ton of expression.

Honestly so pissed if they got trashed. They could have got through customs in time if aliexpress wasn't stupid and held them back at consolidation to pack them with two other orders.
>>11841891Review shows it, yeah. It’s on a swivel at the base of the tail.

>>11843722Yea we've had pics of that wave for over a year now. It's now finally being found in Walmart right now. I got one in the Dallas area yesterday
With the whole Mega Rayquaza campaign going on in Japan right now, you think they'll reveal a Scale World Mega Rayquaza in the next month or two
>>11844884The most recent releases are from gen 4 and Kalos, because Mega Rayquaza appeared in ZA it could happen, but I feel like it's unlikely. They've done very few mega and I doubt they'll go straight to Ray especially since the campaign was mostly an anime thing, and SW don't really do stuff related to this media.Moncolle do tho, they did quite a few stuff related to the anime and Rayquaza.
>>11844884>>11845263Just saw a Select Rayquaza at the local Target. I hate how that teases Garchomp that just might not show up for some reason
>>11845267US?
>>11845267>>11845291nta but prob not in the US since Target never gets the older figures of each wave
Blastoise has a release date for next week on target's website
>>11845585I should've taken a picture that it was part of the Scizor wave
>>11845267>>11846040Can confirm. I found Rayquaza and Mewtwo in Colorado. Maybe they're finally changing and we will get all the figs each wave and not just the new ones.
>>11846053Kinds weird, Rayquaza and Garchomp were on the box with Scizor and Mewtwo should be with the Blastoise set. Anyways, did you notice if Mewtwo was colored differently from the previous verison? From the pictures it seems they also made the arms pinless.
>>11846220Arms are def pinless. You can see that clearly in the package. I couldn't tell if the colors are different without the old one side by side.
It's good they're taking the opportunity to update a few things along with the stand and larger box. If they ever re-release the birds they'll get the better stand too. They should re-release some other ones besides Charizard, Rayquaza and Mewtwo all the time.
>>11846584>They should re-release some other ones besides Charizard, Rayquaza and Mewtwo all the time. They have been. Just not in America until now. Every other country has been getting regular reprints of all the older figs

>>11846614I once made a layover trip in Vancouver just to see your closest TRU. Once I made it there, it had closed already. The Walmart and EB Games was neat, though
>>11846614I will forgive them if they re-release Entei and Flygon at some point.>>11846795Yea most of the TRU locations closed in the last year. It was the place that carried the epic battle figures and some of the selects for us. When they stopping stocking we straight up missed a bunch of figures.
>>11844884I hope Blokees makes a Rayquaza, or Trainer Selects makes a Mega Rayquaza (although they might fuck it up somehow)
>>11839904>>11839962I want the minifigures so badly, I'd buy it if it didn't cost an arm and a leg...
>>11838834There is the Shodo Mew, which I've been using as a stand in for Blokees Mew. I wonder if it will be better, cuz Shodo Mew has two tails, hands and a bubble. I just hope they dont make the Blokees Mew T posing like they did with their Pikachu
>>11846833A Rayquaza from the brand Blokees would be really awesome.
>>11847054Why? So it's super small? The jazzwares one is the largest one and has mostly all the joints it needs.
>>11847185And also has those awful soft horns looking awfully derpy along with the horrid plastic finish they use. We want quality toys
Pokemon Center Japan recently released Mega Raichu X/Y plushies, and then this week they're releasing Mega Greninja, Starmie, Zeraora, and Lucario Z. With the sudden surge of ZA Mega merch, maybe Moncolle can fucking follow soon after.
>>11847185>Why? So it's super small?Blokees has Action Class, mostly used for big transformers with lights and sounds, but they also made Legend Edition Kurama, whos also very big. They can just make Rayquaza Legend Size.>The jazzwares one is the largest one Techincally that goes to the xplus gigantic series>and has mostly all the joints it needs.Except for an opening and closing jaw, how do you fug that up? Even the Plamo Rayquaza's jaw can move.
>>11847185The base is quite fragile, the arms could have been better proportioned, the horns warp easily over time, and the finish feels a bit cheap. It’s a rather mid toy that could easily be much better as a Blokees figure, even if it would be slightly smaller.
We need to bully Blokees into making Trainers
>>11847473Gotta be chinese to do that.
>>11847481Regardless of language, collectors basically always want the same. The Chinese are probably already asking for it, whether they do it or not who knows.
>>11847473that would be awesome but they would prob be a different size to the shf and figmas trainers we have now
>>11847537I wouldnt mind honestly, but if they made them, they'll probably be either the same size as their Miku, or roughly the same as shf/figma>>11847473I need a Lana, but if Im thinking like a corpo, id say my best bet is Red, Blue and hopefully Misty
>>11847543Red, Oak and of course the iconic female picnicker. But really I'd be happy with anything that skewed older rather than new gen stuff.
