The new DB guy that took over in April is Nin Nin Kanno. He previously managed the revived Naruto line up to Jiraiya. He likes expressive faces and is open to fan feedback. The previous Namek guy was a huge DB fan himself and didn't care about feedback, he just made what he wanted. I got the DB Toys bootleg frieza today. I have to say its really insane how good it feels in hand. Feels and looks just like SHF does. Needed to use some shock oil on some of the ball joints but no more than I would on a normal figure. Only things that feels different are the wrist joints and ankle joints. Swapping hands feels a bit sketchy and I haven't been able to change out his feet because the joint pops out with the foot. Overall, insanely good for $40 and I'd recommend it if you missed out on the og full power release like I did.

When you get your Bootleg FP Friezas, make sure to shock oil these ball joints and/or the sockets. I thought the figure just had really shitty ab crunch, but it turns out the ball joints were just super duper tight. I didn't break anything but just be careful and oil everything properly before you handle it when you receive yours.

He starts off with the smaller v-neck, but by the time he switches to the kanji-less gi, the v neck was always drawn as larger and more open. The 2.0 figures, for the most part, captured this correctly. I think though I figured out what my issue is after seeing this pic. The navy undershirt is too low. It's correctly placed on the SSG figure, but it just sits too low on the regular Goku body. I couldn't figure it out because the v neck looked right size wise, but something just seemed off. It was the under shirt. Shame that it bothers my tism even though it isn't a big deal.
