Went to Designer Con yesterday and got these two. A hummingbird thing because I liked it, and a little, overpriced mech that still showcases a little bit of thought in its articulation
>>11827460The mech was designed with many removable parts for painting, but also with ball-joint shoulders and ankle rockers to be a functional figure. Also it was $125, which was $40 more for being pre-painted
honorable mentions goes to the crocodile thing. Coolest thing I saw there, but it was a $150 statue. And the turret beetles that actually had spring-loaded turrets, but I wanted bigger versions and I could still see a little bit of the 3D print texture on them.
>>11827486the beetles are so cool wish I lived closer so I could actually go to this con, all kinds of neat stuff you’ll never find elsewhere from the looks of it
>>11827490this is my second Designer Con, but in my experience/opinion, not really much to see since I mainly look at toys. BUT it's also a cheap entrance fee at $25 a day this year, and it's just great to see what the indies are making. I think someone showcased Monstors last year too
>>11827467Damn, that's a really cool mecha. I don't have that kinda cabbage to throw around at the moment, but I want one. Cute bird and croc too.You take any classes? Did they offer any?
>>11827460>>11827467That's cool little guy. I love cool little guys.
>>11827772dunno. i just buy things i like
>>11827523Who or what company made this?
>>11828129Igostuff. They have them on BBTS.https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Search?SearchText=%22MONSTORS%22
>>11827460Is the hummingbird meant to perform a function?
>>11828237No. the star of this thread is the robot
