>>11827790No one said the plot wasn't realistic, the problem is its fucking BORING
The ARC trooper set is genuinely a dud because it's on the old body, they gotta make a new body like they did with the commandos at some point if they keep doing ARC trooper sets. Jaina having the pegs is disappointing but the original body was always pretty good so eh. Would have preferred her in robes like the old 3.75 figure regardless.
I love this crusty old bitch.
>>11828040Second attempt at Nihilus came out better too. The brighter red and silver paint they used for the mask makes him look a lot more like his in game model.

>>11828589I never realized it until looking at the toy either, but they're visible in a lot of the concept art and this vignette comic.
>>11828043i like the older one with the mostly plastic cloak better for whatever reason
>>11829050I like the newer one better overall, but I get it. The cloth tunic on the update is annoying to adjust and I think the bigger cape they went with for the first release looked better/more accurate to the source material.
>>11828382I was literally thinking about how I need phase 1 troopers, and Hasbro delivered lolFunny enough, is that I would have actually liked some sort of sgt or something, but I won't complain, so long as the price is good (NOT $20 each! Otherwise I might as well go to AliExpress and get me some distinct colors of P1s).>>11828383And the battle droids to go with them? Perfect! The 3 to 1 ratio works out for me, as well, because I have an old TVC B1, so there's my nice squad if 4, and I'll probably be getting the single carded hutt B2, so they can be a pair.I'm actually hyped for upcoming star wars toys!
Are they ever going to make a fucking Darth Bane? I'd take either the EU or mouse canon one at this point.

>>11829231>and Hasbro delivered lol>Funny enough, is that I would have actually liked some sort of sgt or somethingI'm glad they didn't do that. It makes more sense to do the officers on single cards like they're doing with the Commander
Xizor good for 18 bucks? I doubt we'll get a better one. Also what about the Dagan Gera? He's 14 right now. It's the one without the force arm.
>>11829486Xizors great. Best we're gonna get unless a Figurarts happens, and I doubt it will.
So I recently got the Black Series BOBF Boba, and I remember reviewers having issues with his helmet sitting too high but he seems to look fine? At least I think so anyway. But it's weirding me out because most reviews I've seen of the figure complain about the helmet sitting too high to the point of removing the skull cap inside.
>>11829468Yeah, I understand that I'm being selfish with that desire, which is why I'm not complaining. Besides, I can probably color them myself or something*Pulls out sharpies*:p>>11828382>>11828383Forgot to ask, when will these be releasing? And where/how much?

I am still really mad that I, a real Star Wars fan, wasn't able to get this while fake disney "fans" and scalpers got plenty.
>>11830456If only Hasbro included those alternate hands and head as part of the basic figure like every other action figure company on planet Earth
>>11830460Could've lived with just that. The platforms would've been a nice display piece for some shelf plans I had but I mainly really wanted those heads and hands.
I hate SWTOR, but Malgus has always had a cool design. Black series is pretty good too, though it is a shame that he was one of the first to suffer from the lack of thigh cuts.
It's been a LONG time since I ever bought a star wars toy. Last time ever was back in 2013. but this year, my love for collecting came back. got the 20th Anniversary Dooku and Nihilus last month. recently got the Blokees Stormtroopers, which are pretty great. I recommend them, they look great. Also finally got an updated Darth Vader. NEVER owned a good darth Vader outside vintage. every other one I've owned were bad or boring with low to no articulation. Black Series 6in is where it's at. Also while I feel black series is a bit over priced I will say Im happy with the size and details on them. I loved VC and Legacy Collection back in the day, but look back at those figs now, they are SOOOOO freaking small, and models look a bit cheap. at least from 2009. Black Series is a perfect upgrade. Also Stormtooper 365 gave me nostalgia too.
Sometimes I wish the new trilogy wasn’t such a retarded mess because I actually liked Kylo Ren and his actor
>>11831514Why? He was such a bad choice for anything. And he was a bad character right from the get go. We didn't need Vader-Light. We sure as hell didn't need a bastardized attempt at doing Solo kids.

Some Jaina in honor of the new two pack. She was one of the first toys I ever picked up, before collecting became a serious thing for me in the way it is now. Me and this girl have been through quite a lot together, but I think she's held up pretty well over the years. Though as I'm looking at her eyes, I think some updated paint apps would be welcome. Might take the new head and pop it on the old body, because the black flight suit just looks cooler.
>>11830219It shouldnt have even come out this late in the first place. Not having the main villain out in time for the movie is pure lunacy especially when embo comes out two months too late. Fuck pointless unnecessary street dates and fuck disney/hasbro.
>>11831869The make-up artists and gaffer did an amazing job for that shot. Couldn't save this one though.
>>11831869His hair really did look ridiculous in that scene.
>>11831514>>11831738>>11831866>>11831869What's funny is that Bungie did a better Kylo Ren, because Dredgen Bael is the edgy wannabe that isn't the special (force sensitive, or in Destiny's case, a Lightbearer/chosen/Guardian), but somewhat idolizes the bad guy.I thought Kylo was going to be a wannabe fanatic that idolized the empire. Sadly, the Destiny version didn't get his chance to live to his full potential, either :,(>>11830219Nah, anon has a point, as his presence in the movie isn't some huge spoiler, so a full fledged figure of him in wave 1 wouldn't have ruined the movie going experience (as lacking as it actually was). But on the flip side, leaving the movie theater, and being unable to find his toy DOES hurt the movie experience. Never had that issue with prequels. You could go right to toys'r'us and pick up a Darth maul, or a jango fett, or a general grievous (and HIS toy was more of a spoiler, revealing his 4 arms!)
>>11832114Remember when they moved the scar because...because?
>>11830179The irony being it goes both ways as Mando in the BOBF has that scene he fights with the full gear. Not so long later they melt the spear and then he gives away the Darksaber
Found the new snowtrooper at my local Walmart. For some reason it was the only one on the floor and I didn’t find the end cap shipper thing with the new wave anywhere. Not sure if I’ll ever watch the movie but still I can’t resist these dirty troopers and since I adore the remnant stormtrooper, I wanted another similar figure. The snowtrooper is not as good though and a little disappointing. Biggest issue for me is it can’t get into a one knee kneeling pose because it doesn’t have enough leg and foot articulation and/or the thigh is too short/shin is too long for the knee to touch the ground. So that is a shame. Another weird thing is while the stormtrooper was appropriately all matte, the snowtrooper is a mix with some of the armor being glossy. There is also not as much weathering in general which is the main draw for me. Really could’ve used some weathering on the boots which I think the old one had. But apart from that it still looks really nice because it’s very well sculpted. The alt helmet without the face mask also surprisingly works for me. Now I just need them to make an all new remnant scout trooper.
>>11830179I still like the character and even welcome the Tusken-related flashbacks, it's the actual present time story that's a chore to get through.>still think that's a cool look for Boba.Same. It's like a nice mix of Boba and Jango.
>>11831514>>11831738>>11831869>>11832114Kylo ren stopped being cool the moment he smashed his cool mask in the beginning of the last jedi. >>11832392Kylo was never coolEven TFA had Poe making fun of him in the very first scene
Now that we have a new B-2 and a retooled B-1, some of the CIS droid units that I hope we get new versions of in TVC are:>Droideka>Dwarf Spider Droid>Crab Droid>B-1 Security Droid>BX Commando Droid>Tactical Droid>Magnaguard
>>11832401>Kylo was never coolThis. He looks weak in TFA after the tantrums and when he took the maks off the whole theater laughed. Worst SW villain ever.
>>11832669And then there's Phasma. And Hux. Whole movie of shit attempts at villains.
>>11832342Thanks for the review Anon. I have the Snowtrooper pre ordered along with Embo. I have cut back on my Black Series collecting. Mando and Grogu has some great trooper designs, but I won't lie and say the quality of the film hasn't dampened my excitement for picking up the rest of the troopers (I only have the AT-RT pilot and Target exclusive Stormie). I am sure I'll get the other figures over time once they go down in price (and that's how I got these two figures anyway, for 19.99). What an odd time to be a Star Wars fan. We are getting amazing figures and the selection of characters has never been better.. but the "content" coming out typically is average at best.
>>11832702I paid full price for both which I kind of regret because I later saw the stormtrooper go down to $20 and for some reason while the snowtrooper is $24 online it’s $27 in store. But whatever at least I didn't have to wait and got to examine paint apps in store. Agree with the second part of your comment. I have stopped watching Star Wars altogether now and only focus on the toys and try to remember the good times through them. For me personally they are currently the best part of Star Wars and what’s sort of keeping it alive.
>>11832392Then somehow he still had the pieces of the mask and had it put back together in TROS (This will begin to make things right... again - Jar Jar Abrams).
>>11832237Because it's sexier for the Reylos.
Got the new Snowtrooper. He's pretty good. Really tempted to grab a 2nd one.
>>11833228I really like the swappable cloth face part thingie, whatever the fuck you call it. The alt head is cool and all, but I will never use it.
>>11832401I shit on TFA heavily but kylo i thought was okay when i saw it back then in 2015, but sadly even disney ruined him in the very next film. I wanna fuck phasma

newbie here, is the Black Series branding reliable? I mean, here in Hungary there are a couple of stores who are selling battle-damaged vader and kyle katarn brand new at amazing prices (around 18 €) but they also sell older looking models in different packaging like Kit Fisto for almost the same price, also black series. so my question boils down to: is quality reliably good even with older models? or is there a guide somewhere listing models which have problems either during play or posing that are not apparent by looking at the box? batlle-damaged vader goes hard as fuck tho and I'm so glad my boy Kyle is not being slept on by the mouse.
>>11834985Kyle is good Vader is fine. Just do some research and watch reviews on youtube to find which figures you like and want. Stay away from figures in these boxes as they are the oldest and crappiest and have bootlegs
>>11833228Nice. I'm thinking 2-4, depending on how much I like it in-hand.
>>11828040I'd make her suffer "indignities" if you get what I mean.

People like Kylo Ren? I get once a while a series can be bad but there is a character people like about it but aside from the design (while masked) and the first scene he blocks a blaster shot with the force I don’t see much to himAnd the uniqueness of a claymore lightsaber was lost with Jedi Survivor
>>11835186>People like Kylo Ren?They claim to. I don't know how. People with swiss cheese for brains somehow like Rey too. They are inhuman.
>>11835239Weird how the fish are the best black series figs all things considered
Got a nice pick up at Ross, anybody else have any good recent finds to report? Even if it's just what you've seen, share!>>11835186I think it's more that A) people like his DESIGN (much like the inquisitors; they sometimes look cool, but are absolute shit characters), and B) people like the IDEA of his character, and his potential. He's clearly the best thing in the ST, but that's a loaded phrase, filled with relative words, like saying "Becky is the hottest in class" and she's only a 6/10, but the rest are 4/10.Sometimes, you gotta pick through dirt to find gold, so in this case, we (yes, I fall under the "likes Kylo Ren" camp) gotta sift through trash for a piece of silver.
>>11835269Also got my blokees AT-RT. It cost me less than $20 on ali, and was well worth the price. My only complaint is the little pistons that connect to the legs were very tight at their simple peg joint, and made movement VERY difficult (the pegs even stressed the hole to make it turn white!), and I'm not sure if it was meant to be that way, to give it stability, which I don't think it really needed, so I scrapped away at the pegs to make them much looser. Works better now, in my opinion.>>11835239I "like" Rey, but it's pretty much exclusively "I find her actress to be very attractive" (as all of my enjoyment of RoS was seeing her ass). I gave her a chance and have two figures of her (the grey outfit that she first sees Luke in, and her later white outfit from RoS, which was mostly in the hooes of a good ass sculpt and better hip articulation. Also it had a better hair style). The white Rey sits in Boba Fett's prison pod lol

>>11834991thanks. ended up getting pic rel,a s I love this trilogy and ended up paying 16€ per figure this way. Kyle and Vader will be next, for sure. hope they scale well together
>>11835503I've been so tempted to get this but I already own Mara, a bunch of Lukes and tons of Jedi, so outside of Joruus, I'd be getting another version of Mara just with another head and yet more Lukes even if I don't specifically own these two.
>>11835525These will be my first black series figures so it seemed like a good deal to me even though they're a little older model.
>>11835503>A fellow Thrawn Trilogy enjoyerBased and I think you made good picks for your first foray into the line. The RotJ Luke in that four pack is my favorite Luke and Kyle and Joruus are excellent too. Luuke and Mara aren't half bad either and the alt head the Last Command pack included for Mara is nice.
>>11835551yeah it's supposed to be here by next week, I'm honestly excited, I haven't bought any toys apart from lego in like a decade. I'll just wait for my next paycheck but battle-damaged Vader and Kyle Katarn (maybe Starkiller) are the next on my radar, and I'm gonna need an Obi Wan and Maul too (any tips?). I'm pleasantly surprised that I can easily buy so many non-disney era characters, lego rarely does this.also it's so funny to see skeleton crew/acolyte/andor figures selling in my country collecting dust and being permanently discounted down to like 10-12 euros. apart from Amazon and regular toy stores, any good websites that ship to Europe I should check out?
>>11835557The new Maul from the show is pretty good and is pretty much identical to TCW Maul, and the most recent Phantom Menace Maul is also pretty cheap right now on Amazon so it's up to which one you prefer. Unfortunately the recent Ep III Obi-Wan is scalped to shit and back but Phantom Menace Obi-Wan is cheap right now and matches well with TPM Maul. Most Kenobi show variants of Obi-Wan are pretty cheap too.

Just watched Mandalorian and Grogu. I think that whole “not bad bjt should have been a season’s episodes” was right. >>11836311They never should've done Force Awakens crap in that scale. Huge mistake.
>>11836372Eh, I don't think the imperial TIE would've done particularly better than the first order TIE. The issue is with the scale, unfortunately, so no amount of curation would've had any notable effect.Should've just stayed focused on the scale better suited to vehicles.
>>11836385Because we never got a proper X wing. Just sequel slop. A 1/12 scale Haslab Falcon is what the world needs to heal.
>>11836281I have 2 snow speeders. Just waiting for the Camel walker to be released.
>>11836385TIEs are pretty small, of all the fighters not named A-wing or Eta-2 I think it had the best shot at selling well. It really was just the fact that it was sequel slop. Normal sequel figures already pegwarmed hard, no one is buying an overpriced sequel vehicle.
>>11836413A full 1/12 Falcon would be over 9 feet long. Maybe Haslab could just make playsets of the cockpit and the cargo hold?I can't remember if any fans ever made a 1/12 Falcon. I know Hot Toys (pic related) and Outpost One in Germany have 1/6 versions.
>>11836434But the snowspeeder didn't do great either. Black Series collectors spoke and said, "we don't want to pay this much for vehicles", and Hasbro listened. Same as they did for making any backgrounders in that scale. If you want vehicles then just stick with 3.75" or collect the Micro Galaxy line. Or be a mad lad and invest in a 3D printer and make your own 1/12 scale vehicles. There are plenty of files out there for them.
>>11836385Yeah, for 1/12 you can get away with smaller stuff like speeder bikes but anything fighter size and up is going to be a hard sell no matter how popular it is simply because not many people are going to have room for something that big. This was one of big reasons why the Rancor Haslab was doomed to fail even if they had given it some decent tiers.
>>11835809As opposed to not getting my money at all because the product is shit?
Hell yeah, I wasn't expecting these to just be in stock and ready to go.
>>11836413>Scale doesn't work for vehicles, due to many reasons>"No they just need to do the RIGHT vehicle! The BIGGEST vehicle!":/
>arc 170GO ON SALE ALREADY. I swear I'm going to buy it, and then its going to go on sale.
>>11835764>Gundam Markers apparently destroy ABS plasticOh dear, thanks for the warning anon.
>>11837044I don't think this is true. Bandai uses ABS for the inner frames of their own model kits.
>>11837051it'll destroy the inner-frame but it should be fine on the armor.
>>11835724>>11835726These cause me a little bit of pain when characters like Anakin and Obi Wan can’t even get a second pair of hands lol. But they’re cute I guess.
>>11834985That’s probably the 20th Anniversary Kit Fisto, he uses retro packaging but it’s still a new figure. My logic would be to buy one and if it’s legit then it’s probably a reliable retailer. But I don’t know the Hungarian markets, either.
>>11837073isn't it just a repackage of the 2019 kit fisto that was originally in the ~2015 box?
YOU WILL KILL LUKE SKYWALKER!
>>11837061I've applied Gundam Marker to inner frames without any issue. Not sure what you're on about.
NOOOOOOO NOT MOOBOO AND GRINGLET! They were our only hope!!!!!!!
>>11837276Honestly that mando figure looks really good but I can’t bring myself to get a retarded character from a shit series even if it’s a good figure
>>11837276Nice that they put the sword he used in the movie. If my third world country sold those in the stores I’d actually buy it.
>>11837345He only used the short sword very briefly in the gladiator arena. The double machetes from his final fight against Embo would have been better as accessories.
>>11837441Holy shit you’re right
>>11837051>>11837061>>11837261So I could safely mess with the helmets, chest plates and mismatched armour colouring on these with gundam markers?
>>11837528or even just the helmet, if I could change the helmet I'd be happy enough.
>>11837528>>11837529Aren’t gundam markers just for detailing? I don’t think they will be good for large area coverage. Why not just use acrylic paints, that’s what most customizers use
>>11837528Gundam markers will rub off if you touch them at all, so unless your going to shelve them and literally never touch them, then you might want to paint them instead. You can do some swaps between the middle two to make some much better combinations, but the big guy and girl will require painting. I used some citadel/Warhammer brand primer silver, but any type of hobby primer should do (please note "hobby", because I bought some primer from home depot, and lesrned the hard way that you need hobby primer for stuff like this lol)For the red super commandos on the right of my pic, I used a few layers of silver hobby paint I got from Walmart, and it works great. You can get better results if you take off the old paint first, either by sanding, or nail polish remover, but the later can get sloppy, so proceed carefully.
>>11837168I guess so, I just looked it up. But my point was that it was a recent release, not actually a box from 20 years ago lol.
I just got two 20th anniversary Magnaguards, I kinda like them but hoo boy these things are so flawed it’s CRAZY. Their shoulder pads won’t stay on for SHIT, and their hips collide with their waist so you can barely move the thighs around at an angle.
>>11837693I was thinking about getting the blue ones but heard a lot of bad things since the first one so I’m glad I passed. For the longest time there were barely any separatist droids in black series and while nice they started making more, it’s a shame some are not as good as they could be. The BX commando droid also has very poor articulation apparently which sucks since they are supposed to be very flexible.
>>11837441He also got his Amban/disintegrator rifle back, so a new release with an unmasked head and his weapons from the climax would be neat. As an aside, Din using the spear from those fish aliens reminded me of how much I missed the Beskar spear.
>>11837701I’m posing them next to my Grievous model kit so they’ll fulfill that purpose nicely at least. But they could be a lot better for sure. I’m just glad I was able to grab 2 for $25 each on eBay, because I could not justify a higher price tag than that. I don’t have any B1 battle droids yet, but heard they don’t stand well. This is why I’m hoping Blokees starts making droids, I think they’d be perfect for the more mechanical designs.
>>11837550Was just gonna go for an edge or a line, not the whole shebang. I dunno, the paint always looks so off and bothers me when I see it>>11837684Gotcha, no gundam markers for me or my mandos. I'll settle for swapping up what can be swapped and maybe, maybe painting the helmet for a bit of variation. As much as I hated the shriek hawks when they came out (and then picked up two boxes on sale) I wish they had done a few more of em for the sake of variety (and a few with more matching armour colours) There were some nice paint jobs on the covert extras.
>>11837345>If my third world country sold those in the stores I’d actually buy it.They do sell them in america.
>>11837847Bazinga
>>11837441hahahaha you watched that shit
>>11838144This may shock you, but some Star Wars fans actually do watch Star Wars movies
>>11838415Star Wars fans don't watch Disney shit
>>11838417It's called piracy, anon, but you just want to piss yourself over Disney, and don't even own toys....
>>11838415>some Star Wars fans actually do watch Star Wars moviesOh 100%.Disney isn't Star Wars however.
>>11838427And you dont own toys
>>11838484I own more than you. And I'm a real fan.
>>11838484NTA but I do and he's right.
>>11838493>>11838528That's why you posted them, right? With a time stamp, of course.I'd do the same, but I'm out eating burgers right now, but you can still see some of mine here >>11837684
>>11838417>>11838427Mando is about the least offensive thing Disney has made with the brand. And if Lucas said he's a fan of it then that's good enough for me. He did not share the same compliment to the sequels and rightly so.
>>11838587Second anon you responded to here, I know it's easy to think that people who disagree with you are no toyz drivebys but we're way too niche of a thread for all of us shitposting about Disney sucking to be fakes. My phone sucks by the way, ignore the bad quality.
>>11838598Ok, just have to filter, because there's this insufferable anon that bitches non stop about Disney, even if we say "the movie sucks, but I like this figure", as you've seen above.I've seen the Mando and yogurt movie, on the high seas, and I don't hold it in high regards (it's incredibly mid, 5/10), but the TVC figures from it are very good, and thats all I care to talk about.I ended up liking the remnant snow trooper better than the snow trooper commander (empire) from a few waves prior, and I'm pretty sure it's because it's the commander, and not a regular trooper. Though I LOVE holsters, the lack of knee pads, and backpack, kind of bumped it down, in my opinion. AT-AT pilot has the hips sculpted in a way to give him a lot more range, which I really appreciated, and surprisingly ended up being a very fun figure, for me.
>>11838608No, you're just a big whiny asshole that keeps defending the Disney garbage thread after thread. Nobody wants to hear what you have to say on the matter. The movie sucks and if you buy the figures you're telling them it's okay to keep sucking. You are the problem. You are the enemy.
>>11838608>but the TVC figures from it are very goodNo they are not
>>11838608Disney Star Wars is trash as I said but I will begrudgingly admit I've been slightly tempted to get the remnant snowtrooper. The yellowed helmet just ruins it for me because otherwise it'd be a good updated ESB snowtrooper. That's really all that looked even slightly interesting to me from the new Grogurt line desu, I think most of them are pretty ugly in apshuttle. Pretty much peak glup shitto. Well besides the remnant stormtrooper and AT-AT driver for obvious reasons.>>11838614Put up or shut up when asked for toyz nigga, then you can shittalk.
>>11838617>Disney Star Wars is trashI like the designs of troopers, ships and the occasional droid or alien. Story wise they're pretty bad.
>>11838615How are they not? The Snowtroopers are based on an already 10/10 figure with a new head. The AT-RT along with the driver are both fantastic releases. Even the AT-AT Driver, with its slightly too small helmet, is still great. The new Mando is also a major upgrade all around with the new upper half to the body.
>>11838614>Gave the movie a 5/10>"keeps defending the Disney garbage"Yeah thanks for proving my point, retard. Also, you don't even own any toys, and according to your logic, nobody should be buying anything at all.Why are you here?>>11838617They look more grey than yellow, unless you meant figuratively... Still, the slightly faded look works in my opinion. Would you buy it if you saw it at Ross for $5?>>11838624Yeah that's pretty much my attitude; didn't even bother pirating asohka or acolyte, but I did enjoy the HK droids, and black girl works as a generic mechanic, so I picked that up at Ross for $5.And you can't go wrong with troopers/droids.>>11838628I'm pretty sure that's the toyless shit poster.
>>11838641>Would you buy it if you saw it at Ross for $5?I mean, yeah definitely. Anything even remotely OT, PT or EU related I'd pick up for 5 dollars. Andor, too, only Acolyte tier figures would still be not worth it for 5 dollars.
I’d go crazy over a Mother Talzin black series figure. What are you guy’s favorite Black Series based on the Clone Wars/CG shows?
>>11838628>The AT-RT along with the driver are both fantastic releasesFuck no they aren't. They're overpriced and you happily let them take advantage of you
>>11838598based, disney sloppers btfo lol
>>11838746TVC is the cheapest 1:18 line I collect. Stop being a poorfag
>>11838628>The new Mando is also a major upgrade all around with the new upper half to the body. No, I'm tired of this figure version 1.8 bullshit. They've released like 30 different versions of Mando and still no definitive version because they'd rather milk us for tiny upgrades each time and simultaneously releasing outdated versions of figures alongside.
>>11838871>TVC>cheapBro if you think that's cheap, you need some serious help. Worse yet if that's the "cheapest" line you collect. You are being fleeced.
>>11839498Wake up my friend, it's not 2010 anymore. Costs of toymaking have gone up significantly. It's not some grand conspiracy by toy companies to fleece everyone. The big toy companies have made significant investments and changes in how they make toys to attempt to keep them more affordable. Meanwhile the companies making 1/18 toys as well as they possibly can are charging $45 for a reason, and it's not because they're laughing all the way to the bank.
>>11839596NTA but I’m not even sure you are being sarcastic or not with how crazy the world has been lately
>>11839477The new one is pretty definitive though. All it's lacking is a jetpack without the tab on it for Grogu but you could just as easily snip that off.
>>11839498If you know of a line that's cheaper and offers as many obscure characters, playsets, vehicles, and creatures at a decent quality with regular releases and availability as TVC then I'd love to hear about it. The only one that really even comes close is Mattel's Hammond Collection, but the human figures in that line are pretty bad compared to TVC.
>>11839779>offers as many obscure characters, playsets, vehicles, and creatures at a decent quality with regular releases and availability as TVCTVC doesn't offer that at all anymore. It stopped doing that ages ago. And it's now even more overpriced. And cutting paint apps.
>>11839751Or for less than half the price you could get mines of mandalore and imperial base at ross and swap the torsos, but modding an existing figures is still not hasbro producing a proper goddamn figure.
>>11839780Though I agree that the bar isn't as high as anon is possibly implying, I would still like to hear any examples that surpass said bar. It's annoying that the prices have gotten this high, it's still a pretty good deal, from time to time, and isn't specifically a Hasbro/TVC issue.
>>11838423hahahaha you watched that shit in theater camera quality
>>11839983I don't know what that would accomplish. Those figures share the same tooling aside from the back piece to accommodate the jetpack pegs. And neither of them are the same as what's on the new deluxe figure which is more accurate in detail and proportions.
>>11839780>TVC doesn't offer that at all anymoreGuess I'm just imagining these playsets, Banthas, and AT-RT sitting next to me along with this preorder for an Orray and chariot on my Pulse account.
>>11840520>aside from the back piece to accommodate the jetpack pegsSeems you understand just fine. Barbell hips and correct jetpack and not paying almost 30 dollars for the new one with slight improvement and a jetpack that needs modding.
>>11840387It was pretty decent quality, actually. Besides, I got what I paid for :p
>>11840609I guess you are, Disney shit.
>>11840992Did you ever post your figs or not
>>11840913It's not a slight improvement, it's making the figure actually definitive with correct detailing and better sculpting to the costume.
>>11841007Not definitive. Jetpack isn't accurate. Modding excuse is a cope. The overall is just a slight improvement. Just like the previous one had a slight improvement with new hips, this one has a slight improvement with a new torso. All your corporate dick sucking won't change the fact that you're paying an almost $30 deluxe pricetag for a retool of a standard figure.
>>11841442So what do you want? An entirely new figure from the ground up that would wind up being almost exactly the same as what they just put out but with a normal jetpack?
At this rate, after Taun We, Sebulba and Watto, we’re actually going to start getting characters like Nute Gunray, Wat Tambor, Zam Wessel, etc. I couldn’t be more excited. Give us Dexter Jettster, I want everyone. We need a Boss Nass figure!
>>11838598Extremely based.
>>11841501No, if anything I wanted them to do this figure back when the new hips version came out as an update release rather than the retarded decision to gradually update each figure with one new feature each time while simultaneously including reissues of the original mold to further trick people into buying the same figure multiple times.
>>11841901With a normal backpack
>>11827660so what's this I hear some creditable rumor the Death Star Haslab design is almost finalized internally for next year? anyone got anymore info on this?>>11839596You wake up lmao - dude they clearly are charging 20% to 30% more than they should they even openly admit it in their investment meetings. BAKA

>>11842336Is it possible to learn this power?
>>11842643Not from a Jedi.
>>11842643>>11842654not from a brapi
>>11842643I am ALL the Mexican dinners!
cancelled my mission 2 pack pre-order, looks like it's gonna be bargain binned at this rate
>>11843074I think all the two packs have been discounted eventually. Except the walmart purge trooper pack I'm still waiting for that one to get cheaper
>>11843074I'm thinking the same desu, I might make some money back on the Jacen/Jaina pack if so.
>>11843098I bet if Disney didn't burn everyone out on Star Wars that Kreia/Nihilus pack would have sold out. Kyle Katarn should have been long gone by now too.
>>11843074Which 2 pack is that?
>>11843326
>>11843342Why are her arms so long?
>>11843380they sort of are in game but the figs are both pretty bad overall
>>11843380They kitbashed different parts together that don’t match
Star Wars has failed to get replacement fans. It cannot keep going, the toys are overpriced and it's impossible to build a collection of main characters.
>>11843380her in game model is already pretty lanky and hasbro is cheap and reused adult character arms for a teenagerit would look less weird if her thigh highs were a bit shorter like they are in game
we need this but in black series
>>11844742did this ai slopper forget what palpatine actually looked like in dark empire
>>11844857That version of Palps has no aura compared to OG DE Palps.
>>11844857Honestly, both Sheev and Luke change quite a lot in those comic books, and the guy doing the covers ignores that completely and just follows his own style. Also that AI mocap looks exactly like my custom DE Luke.
Is there a lore reason why Starkiller came with 6 red blades instead of 3 reds 2 blues and a green? Or is it laziness?
>>11844742so would>>11845100hard agree, I'm ok with that change. It's something they'd do these days anyway.>>11845140nice, i'd do this if I didn't think Hasbro would get around to it at some point anyway>>11845188they're doing the thing where the saber color changes if you're bad now
>>11845188Bad guy have red lightsaber because red is for bad guyGrug Lucas say soSo if bad guy take other guy lightsaber that lightsaber become red bad guy lightsaber
>>11845188mine didn't come with anything cus i'm still waiting on those bbts assholes to ship it
>>11845930Extended Star Wars fiction was better when the people making it didn't consider Lucas's ideas to be sacrosanct.
>>11845930You say this like General Grievous doesn’t wield blue and green lightsabers.
>>11846060>Exar KunExcellent taste, anon. Also reminder that at least one of Leia's lightsabers (out of the fucking dozen or so she had because nobody could be fucked to remember she already had one) was red, as was Luke's shoto whenever he had need to dual-wield.>>11846107Which really just shows that even George "Darth Icky and Darth Insanious" Lucas was less retarded about these things than whoever greenlit that figure.
>>11846172>Excellent taste, anonThanks, some of us still remember the Star Wars of old. One of my toy dreams would be an Ulic Qel-Droma and Exar Kun Lords of the Sith two pack. Sadly, a lot of the recent EU stuff seems to not be selling that well, so it's looking increasingly less likely.
Anyone have Star Wars: The Black Series Eleventh Brother yet? He just hit my pile of loot and not sure I want it or my money back.
>>11846198Starkiller and the Darth Nihilus/Darth Traya two-pack sold out multiple times. Cool Sith sell.
>>11846413True and they should lean into that. We need Krayt and the One Sith. Legacy was great and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't.
>>11846456Legacy was bad but it has great designs.
>>11846838To each their own. The only thing I think is kind of rough about it is Cade, but I personally don't mind him. Yeah, he's hilariously edgy at times, but at least he actually had flaws to overcome and grew as a character over the course of the series (which is more than can be said about the protagonist of another, lesser Star Wars sequel story). Also, Gar Stazi was the baddest of badasses and I need a figure of him too.
Is it true Luke has ultra high Dark Side potential because the Dark Side powers you get when you turn scale off your Light Side?
Just got the new battle droids 4 pack delivered. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize they were releasing so soon, I thought they were going to be in November with the rest of the Geonosis shit
>>11847038I don't think that's how it works. The Force is the Force, you're as strong with it in the light as you are in the dark. It's just a matter of how you use your power.
>>11847050They were already in-stock on the day they went up, did you not notice that it wasn't a pre-order?
Huh, I had no idea the Gendy Wars Anakin/Ventress two pack was a thing. Give me a clone armor Obi-Wan and Durge two pack, fuckers.
>>11847038Powerscaling Star Wars is so frustrating. It gets away from the actual philosophy of the Force altogether.
>>11847107No I was completely surprised, I have had trouble paying attention to TVC since I have been more focused on other toys this year but I still try to keep up and get stuff I have been really wanting like a B2 which I have wanted in TVC forever
