is mezco worth investing my money in? I'm considering saving up for iron man
>>11828926that's a mezco figure? i thought their whole stick was full on soft goods. that looks like marvel legends
yh I was honestly surprised since I thought it was soft goods that look like a pajama. turns out I was wrong and they have a few plastic molds such as black bolt. I really like the clean design but for $125 is insane. I think ill just save my money for csm shf figures
>>11828980Mezco, like Hot Toys, will use all plastic or metal when needed, naturally Iron Man doesn't really use cloth goods. They're just generally meant to be premium figures at a smaller scale. The Darkseid they did even used Polystone(somewhat unwisely)
>>11829007i thought retro ironman was only metal on the armour and the yellow parts were like an undersuit
Some Mezco figures are well worth the money. Their Conan, Tmnt, Popeye, and Dick Tracy are all excellent for example. I just got the Arnold Conan they put out this month and even the likeness is good, which is something they normally struggle with. Their comic stuff is definitely more divisive, especially the ones where they redesigned costumes, though it seems they’re moving away from that and just doing classic versions people like more.
>>11828926It's a very hit and miss company.Always wait for reviews on the fig you want, several at least.
>>11828926Honestly, their best stuff is really fucking good. Popeye, Conan and others come to mind. A lot of their stuff just isn't worth it though. Their superheroes look bad with how the fit of the costumes are. Something with regular clothes is better. They're hardly ever worth the asking price though.
nightcrawler just got announced and scarecrow from the bat series as well. def going to wait for a review since I can't burn through money rn cuz I'm waiting to start my summer job.
