Recently got the WhaleWorks female body in. Very impressive engineering, though personally I'm not a massive fan of the thigh swivel. It works for her as she's a muscular type but I personally would have preferred the Figma style "encapsulated swivel" as it looks cleaner and you still get a good natural range.Anyway I decided as she's quite tall and toned to make her into an orc. Printed a head (female jungle troll from Action Figure Fusion, scaled down to 90%; it's meant for Mythic Legions and I need to print a better neck connector but it looks good on her) and dyed the figure with green and yellow Rit-Dye. Taking her apart was fairly simple, putting her back together took some strength. She's not finished yet, gotta finish painting the head and I'm tempted to add some tattoos/body paint but not sure.Aiming for a weird blend of "tribal" and "ganguro" with her overall look. You could also just use very fine sandpaper, and if its shallow enough this can remove it. Theres that remove-zit doll cleaner stuff, seems to work well on bad stains but if you get it on any paint anywhere else on her it will entirely strip it off, so its a use with caution sort of thing like the zit cream. You could make baking soda/water paste and scrub the body with a soft toothbrush but this could damage it so be careful. Some people have had success using very small amounts of acetone and light rubbing with cotton swab or pad, but acetone can totally melt your figure depending on the type of plastic and how thick it is, scary option so really research it. Whichever method you use make sure you wash and dry her well afterwards especially when using chemicals.Last option I can think of is just repainting the body. Probably the safest route in terms of not risking damaging the plastic too much but you need an airbrush or thin paint and lots of time. This is often the problem with chinese figures doing single runs as well.Plus they can guarantee they'll make money with each run of a different character because of the FOMO.

But yeah at this point these figures are not good enough for $108 for the figure, $38 for shipping, and a $30 dollar (if you pay before it gets to you) tariff charge. Won't be ordering another one for sure. At this point I am 100% done with Japanese toys. I got 2 shipments from gundamit this week and they were 2 bucks total each to ship.
