>be me>use cashback site>"20% cashback on Aliexpress orders today!">Oh goody, thinks I>go to Aliexpress and order over £1k worth of toys I've been wanting for ages>rub my hands in a very Jewish way because I'll be getting over £200 back>next day>THREE of the vendors I've ordered from message me to say the items I've ordered are "out of stock">the items are still listed on their shop pagesWhat the fuck is going on? Why do they do this? Did they see that they would be losing 20% and decided to deny the sale? Does Ali allow this? Should I report them?
Damn, Eurocucks deserve to get scammed. Keep importing the third world and become the third world.
>>11839156I got this bullshit only with low rated/ young (1 year or less) stores.Just buy from stores with 2 or more years old and high rated ( 96% or more)
>>11839164Yeah, it's only with fairly new stores but I just want to know why they do it. They're clearly breaking the rules of the platform. I've also had them Jew me with extra shipping charges. I'm not bothered if it's like $3 but sometimes it's substantially more.
>>11839220>Just bought the lowest rated game from a nobody studio on steam and it's awful!! I want to know why Steam did this to me
>>11839158Have you considered being nice to people?
>>11839226Have you considered rolling over and dying?
If you're buying on aliexpress to begin with you deserve to lose every penny
>>11839158Importing guys like you?
>>11839156>subhuman britfaglmao
>>11839156As someone with A LOT of experience with this, I can tell you that most storefronts hold no inventory, so when you place an order it goes to the warehouse to fulfil and it is only at that point you found out if it's available or not.The real bullshit is that the warehouse sometimes have stock, but have increased the wholesale price, so the storefront end up asking you to pay more.In addition, a lot of storefront use the same warehouses, so they are fighting for stock and sometimes just making an enquiry is enough to show demand and the warehouses increase prices based on storefront interest. It's honestly fucking chaos. I find I have most success ordering from 3 different places at the same time and then cancelling from the other 2 as soon as one ships.
>>11839156They're chinese
>>11839156You’re fucking with masters of capitalism aka the chinese, you think they’re going ti let you get discounts.
>>11839156I haven't ordered from then since last year when they tried charging me a $60 tariff on a $45 Transformer
I mean most the time they just sneak in the supposed discount back in as various incremental service costs throughout different steps of the purchase, so you technically made it out better by just dodging the order completely.
>>11839156I buy half my stuff from aliexpress since it's the cheapest way to get toys in NZ.- Most often it's legit, they just don't update their listings well.- Sometimes they try to scam you. Common tricks are "hey we don't have X but would you accept Y?", or they send you one half of your order and if you don't appeal in time you won't get a refund etc.- Sometimes they realize they have the last item of it's type, and relist it for a higher price since often they're aftermarket scalpersI've had this happen a dozen times, and can at least say the refunds are simple and fast. Never had a problem getting one.
Why do Americans cry about Chinese making too much crap and do nothing to improve their situation? I guess you deserve all the fentanyl getting smuggled into the country as it weeds out the undesirables.
>>11839332Dropshipping from a proper warehouse is fine, everyone does it. Some Chinese toy makers even provide dropshipping services so they can skip wholesale logistics. The problem is that some Aliexpress, Ebay and even Amazon 3rd party sellers dropship from other retail sellers on cheaper Chinese platforms like Taobao and PDD. Even worse is that some of these sellers are dropshippers themselves. So you end up in a chain of multiple dropshippers without knowing, each stage charging a fee for merely copy-pasting your shipping info.
>>11839156Happens quite often.>see the fig i want>substantial late tax >buy it anyways>seller contacts me, the item is out of stock>fig appears same day three times as expensive>no buy
>>11839156Literally just bought a bootleg of a toy id wanted since childhood from here. Says free returns, if its just absolutely fucked is their return policy good?
