Bricks and Minifigs drama thread part whatever

Gag order lifted, Reckless Ben part 3 is live
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auf_-bVs2WA
>>
Give me the tl;dr on part 3, my interest is waning.
>>
>>11840968
It's just an anime beach filler recap episode. There isn't anything new in it.
>>
>>11840968
Ammon spewed some bullshit on Fox News and the judge sided with BAM without reviewing the evidence. That's all that's new.
>>
>>11840979
>>11840998
LMAOif this was really all he had up his sleeve as a part 3, that's hilarious. Because that's literally fucking nothing. meanwhile the Streisand Effect of blocking it spurred on many other investigations that found a pattern of predatory malpractice, as well as the entire Legally Mine family drama lawsuit... Basically the internet as a whole just fucking decided to sped run parts 4 and 5, before Ben even got a chance

All the footage of the CEO talking to the cops, and we're talking some "show me the man and I'll show you the crime" type shit on camera, is all new. Not only that, but the courts didn't even bother to look at any of the footage that Ben sent them and just took the CEO's word on everything. Luckily the case has since been moved to federal court to avoid this whole circus, but those corrupt fucks are about to get absolutely reamed once the video becomes public.
>>
>>11840839
Don't care. Went to B and F the other day to buy bulk lego for pay your age day. Going in today for their deal on trading CMFs of the same value for eachother. Stay made, cope, and seethe.

BAM CEO seduces this female cop with his charms to set up Reckless Ben. It's like how Josh Johnson seduced the hunky cops with his bare feet, but less gay.
>>
>>11841209
>Not only that, but the courts didn't even bother to look at any of the footage that Ben sent them and just took the CEO's word on everything.
specifically, they AVOIDED looking at the footage ben sent them
You can hear the (lawyer?) asking Ben questions about the footage to try and find a reason to dismiss it, and then when Ben gives all the right answers, he just says "recordings don't show everything."
Also noticed there was no mention of the case moving to federal court, I guess that's for an upcoming part.
>>
>>11840968
basically more the same, but apparently someone can just subpoena Google to collect all your geolocation history and internet posts if you give them an email address. It's like this onion just keeps peeling back. Wouldn't be surprised at this point if Youtube stops posting his videos.
>>
>>11841445
That was one of the most wild shit in the video. The fact that Google just handed some random company the guy's entire internet history because they requested it is batshit insane. Absolutely massive violation of the 4th Amendment and I genuinely hope these police departments get absolutely gutted, but I know that's too much to hope for.
>>
>>11841445
the fact that google gives your geolocation and emails out is insane
>>
>>11841516
>>11841517
If it was actually a subpoena then it wasn't Google's choice, they were ordered by the Mormon court.
>>
They KILL PETS TOO?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I2MNDEDFCw
Why are they trying so hard to be the most evil bastards to eve exist on this planet? It's like they worship the concept of evil or something
>>
>>11841516
>I genuinely hope these police departments get absolutely gutted, but I know that's too much to hope for.
problem is, even if these police forces get the Sandy Hook treatment, and they completely clean house, they're not going to fire them. They're just going to swap them for guys from neighboring police forces, so that they can say they cleaned house on them, and none of them are working for OUR police force any more.

And honestly, I'm just surprised that mormon police can find the time for this much corruption, between trying to beat all their wives
>>
>>11841545
and that was a subpoena, can you imagine what they could tell you if you fucking paid them?
>>
>>11841582
You can actually just fucking do that too. Someone a couple years ago did it to some US politicians as a way to protest and demonstrate the dangers of the mass scale data harvesting, and the fact that companies will just sell your personal info for targeted advertising. If you're really specific about the data sets you're interested in buying, you can narrow down the number of relevant people to just a couple individuals, out of the entirety of the US population, and then you just have all their personal info
>>
>>11841148
This guy should be arrested just for that moustache.
>>
>>11840839
Watched it, mostly just a recap of what we know and what Ben posted but as a video proof with audio recording. I'm sorry but I don't really get why Ben is speaking on his behalf in these court proceedings (where is his lawyer?) and he's clearly not a great public speaker without a script so he should honestly get a lawyer to represent him and shut his mouth in court unless asked to testify.
>>
>>11841707
He does have a lawyer now, he didn't when the process started.
>>
So these have like millions of views, are these peoples lives like ruined forever or is this "it's online so it doesn't matter"
>>
>>11841381
I don't understand any of this, what was it about.
>>
>>11840839
has anything actually happened? Has Bryan been paid ANYTHING? Or is every one just shit flinging in court and imaginary court?
>>
>>11841707
He's not called reckless for nothing.
>>
>>11841815
There's a gofundme that raised 300k going to the Mansells.

RICO case has been removed to Federal court and assigned to new judge who promptly reversed the TRO, so Ben can post shit and monetize them

There will likely be a lull in updates since everyone's lawyers will be busy building their cases and advising their clients to hold back (as they should)

That doesn't stop youtubers from digging up old dirt on BAM and the corrupt police. Did you know the judge that signed the warrant for the Google subpoena was ALSO from BYU?
>>
>>11841870
the current Federal judge went to BYU. They're fucking everywhere.
>>
>>11842022
Mormonism is basically a cult. Their religious figure Joseph Smith said that god talk to him, and this was during the 1800s. If he did this in the 20th century he would have been seen within the likes of Jim Jones, David Burg, and Charles Manson by most of the general population
>>
When Millennials and Gen X pass, the story will happen again with a wave of old sets filling resale shops. I’m worried some people won’t get their value back.
>>
>Calls Police
>"Hey, so these guys are trying to extort me. Is that a crime?"

I'm thinking this is kind of unusual.

They 100% wont. there is a natural life cycle for collectables where they reach their max market value when the kids who grew up with them hit their midlife crisis, and have expendable income. After that, the market dips as all the people who want it already have it, or they fucking die and their kids try to sell it. For "evergreen" stuff like Pokemon, there is no foreseeable market crash, because there has been a constant influx of kids growing up with it. But Disney crashed starwars into the ground trying to squeeze blood from a stone in stead of just flying the ship. Kids think it's cringe. It's not evergreen any more, it's just a dead franchise. They will probably still hold some value as rare lego bricks, since i don't expect the love for lego to die out just yet. But lego starwars peaked a year or two ago
>>
>>11843558
>i don't expect the love for lego to die out just yet
It's inevitable since lego doesn't bother making sets for kids anymore.

threads like this are why 4chan are dead, everyone justs wants to drama post and not actually discuss the hobbies they enjoy

everything in part 3 basically happened before it all blew up, he couldn't afford a lawyer at that time. He said he talked to a few probono lawyers and they all said its open and shut case just show your evidence you don't need us. But then no one actually looked at his evidence at all. Now he can with how big his patreon has gotten. He says he now has 5 lawyers working on this

I looked it up after I watched the video the other day. In a civil suit the other party can grab your entire Google data but they need proof that it's for the case. Google will also contact you and give you time to protest the data request, which I feel like Ben probably ignored.
>>
>>11845877
I was just about to comment on the Google thing.
Ben kinda made it out like they just gave him everything the next day after confronting them for the first time, which is fucked if true, but I assume it was more towards the tail end of the thing, after legal stuff/court was already in motion.

I'm glad I have two Google accounts, my main one is logged in on a separate browser, exclusive for Youtube, and my main browser is a burner account I made so my search history wouldn't be linked to my Youtube account when they bought them and merged it, and whenever I visit a website and it's like LOG IN WITH GOOGLE AND GIVE US YOUR DETAILS I'm like yeah lmao go nuts, none of it is real and I never check my emails.
Also luckily my main account has been active for so long they haven't asked me for age verification, I assume it's probably 15+ years old or so, so unless I made it as a googoogaga baby then I'm clearly atleast 18 by now, but won't surprise me if they throw common sense out the window and change that in the future. I would like to get a fake ID AI generated to get the burner account verified however, if anyone is into that.

>In a civil suit the other party can grab your entire Google data but they need proof that it's for the case.
It was for a "criminal" "investigation". The main villain of the part 3 concluded in December that there's no signs of extortion and in February she wrote up a search warrant saying they totally need all that data because there's signs of extortion.
>Google will also contact you and give you time to protest the data request, which I feel like Ben probably ignored.
They forbade Google to notify him.
