The design kinda sucks outside of the head. Feel like every American monster for a decade was of a similar pale lanky semi-quadrupedal design
>>11840916Isn’t this figure worth a ton now?
>>11840916I've wondered this for years. You'd think neca, if no one else...It's also fucking enormous, in scale with absolutely nothing so far as I can tell.
>>11840970>You'd think neca, if no one else...That’s a monkey’s paw if I’ve ever heard one…
>>11840972No, it's not. It'd actually be the best option.
Everything about this release was so strange. A one off, online exclusive release that was released under the largely defunct Signature Series branding Hasbro had for movie releases that they also sort of bought back for some cloth Marvel figures around the same time. It didn't fit Hasbro's MO at all and it probably slipped by a lot of people's notice. It seems like a pet project of a designer they convinced his bosses of getting the license for and releasing.
>>11840916Because it may have looked cool in the theaters, but in toy form it's not so cool.
>>11841069Yes. It’s my most wanted ‘grail’ figure. I do wish to find it someday, even better in that enormous goofy box. I think it would work great as a 1/18 scale creature
>>11841275I liked this concept art.
>>11840977No, it wouldn't. Because neca is trash.
>>11841312Up there as one of my favorite kaijus that never got used. So cool that it's standing up on one fin that's bunched up, but you can just see the guy in the costume standing there if you use your imagination.
Whales have lice??
>>11841312I don’t think that was concept art, iirc that was a design some random guy came up with because the rumor at the time was that the monster was whale-like
>>11845881I think they do actually. They definitely get barnacles.
>>11845881Nearly every animal on Earth can get lice, mites, or some other type of parasite on its body.
>>11845881Yeah, sea lice are a thing.
