surprise batman 89 and alex ross wave up for preorder edition previous: >>11836792
Ivy CE went up for preorder yesterday. sold out in three minutes but they're still popping in and out of stock on amazon and bbts
You forgot to take your trip off
New Ross wave (Pic courtesy of anon in last thread)Mattel core wave 2 coming in August
Listen, I don't mind you coming in and buying McFarlane figures but at least come by and check in with me. I see you left brainiac and kid flash so that's cool but you left the shelf a wreck. What's wrong with vigilante? You skip him each time you come in.
>>11842145Eh why bother? We all know it's me and this way I might get freebies for being a community leader, like a free Phantom Lady or something something
>>11842154ill give you a phantom dollar for your efforts
>>11842154I don't think they give out awards for talking to yourself, being annoying, and putting the least amount of effort into the OP as you can.
There's also these and Spartan from Wildcats as part of the Image founders series.
>>11842160since when is alan scott called "sentinel"
And they're gone. Is Alex Ross Superman going up later? Not seeing him anywhere.Alex's customs are pretty cool if you've never seen them before:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBxPsVUge9s
>>11842161In the 90's.
>>11842160Something that's lost to time is Braniac's original gimmick. Both his spaceship and belt had forcefield tech too strong for Superman to pierce.
here you go fruitcake.
>>11842176Yeah he's too short. This is proper scaling.
>>11842177You know those are McF next to Bane, right?
>>11842177It's too bad those look like shit otherwise.
>>11842178Yes. I've been saying the McFarlane won't scale with the Mattel. That's my point. >>11842179Meh, that's just like you're opinion. I personally love them.
>>11842176That's perfect. I hate twenty foot tall Hulk Bane.
>>11842183To each their own. I still think that's going to be a Banelet next to your McFs but whatever.
>>11842164Why on Earth would get this instead of the Beast Kingdom figure?!
>>11842177Hardy is a manlet
>>11842159He posts actual figures. On the other hand, nobody likes you. Feel free to kys :)
>>11842199That's not Tom Hardy though. That's Bane. From the comic books.
>>11842208use your imagination faggot
>>11842138Is that Superman cape wired?
>>11842187I like a more tactical Bane than a rampaging gigantic monster Bane. >>11842188Beast Kingdom is alright but something about them just doesn't jimmy my jams. Plus they're 8 inches, and it's not a big deal but I never get to use NECA's Elvira or the Diamond Select Ro Laren because it looks weird and the only comments I get are, "damn that's a huge bitch." I want the metallic BK Superman but it's a SDCC exclusive or something so fuck that.
>>11842210That's... not Tom Hardy Bane? There is actually a Tom Hardy Mcfart Bane.
>>11842183he's still supposed to be tall as fuck, don't get psyopped by nolan's manlet version
>>11842212>I like a more tactical Banenigga he's like 7 tall and dresses like a luchadoryeah he's smart but he's still a dork like all of batman's villains
Who makes the biggest Bane?
>>11842210If I wanted a Tom Hardy I'd get one of the several different options. That's not Tom Hardy Bane though. That's comic Bane who's supposed to be a full six go seven inches taller than Batman. And that's before he bulks up with the Venom.
>>11842212Even in your pic he's like at least a head taller than Batman and much more muscular. You're defeating yourself here.
>>11842217Look when I was like five and Bane told me in a comic book he's a tactical genius I believed him, and that's the Bane I want to believe in.
>>11842217Really showing his 90s roots.>He's a tactical master, guys! Really!
>>11842227and of course his "genius" plan was to have as many villains as possible attack batman and then he'd come in at the very end
>>11842235It works for Batman on the Justice League and all the Robins in their teams. It's the classic "everyone get punched in the face while I sneak up and stab them in the back" plan.
>>11842183>i hate accuracygood to know
>>11842176Batman's head being bigger than Bane's is what bothers me most about this.
>>11842218>>11842218>>11842218>>11842218mondo
>>11842255bros
>>11842265fuck didnt mean to reply
>>11842183>>11842176i just hate the tiny beady eyes, the larger ones make him look more like a monster
>>11842248they did the same thing six years earlier too. lazy and incompetent company. mattel has never given anyone here any reason to get their hopes up for their dc product.
>>11842214This.
Why can't we have a proper OP?
>>11842291Is this updated in any way from the original release from like a decade ago?>>11842292>>11842294Are these new?
>>11842320those are all the 8" mego-type figures. they've been in stores for a month or two
>>11842282I honestly do not recognize this woman, first run Kairi?
>>11842320It's an all new Retro cloth figure, so, yes? And they're also new Retro cloth figures.
>>11842314Cause no one wants to make it or even help make it.
>>11842329I can't even glance at a red platinum without feeling disgust at what mcfarlane has become so i wouldn't do the OPs anymore. Once they decided to cater to scalpers the line lost everything
>>11842329CrimsonCommander should make them, he’s the only one who seems to care to properly organize leak lists and releases
>>11842339Fuck off CC, nobody likes you, and you're a known liar
>>11842177Mafex NEEDS to redo comic venom
>>11842339
>>11842328>Retro clothtf does that even mean. its just cloth goods
>>11842364It means they’re supposed to be styled like Mego figures.
>>11842138>trip 'mo finally taking the b̶l̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶ credit
>>11842326yeah, mightve been when she was still in nxt. came with a pirate hat
See you at comic con.
>>11842385SHHHIIIEEEET
Need this asap matty
Mafex Harley got here quick. At this point I feel obligated to get Ivy and Catwoman, but that's it. If they ever do a Batgirl, I'd get her too and then I'd be set for my DC waifus.
>>11842415Slow down anon. Mattel will have what you need.
>>11842418That's funny.
>>1184241914 days anon.
>>11842414I always disliked the New 52 suit. Black and Blue is where it's at
>>11842376That's her then, asuka was the Empress and Kairi was the Pirate of the skies I think. It's funny what you can learn about a show you never really saw sometimes. When I was watching it was just BLOODLINE stuff during the thunder dome days and when I quit watching well idk wtf was going on but Roman was still the top guy.
Question and Beast Boy gotta be mcfarlane store exclusives eh? No way Walmart or Target would still pay for exclusives
Hohoho, he be funny
Where exactly do I buy Mafex figures at? Where is the cheapest place to get them? I'm interested in finally getting a Hush Superman. I tried looking at the used options on eBay and mercari but they're all over $100 which doesn't feel right for something used. I own a Mafex Spiderman and I got it used for $88 after shipping but that was also like 5 years ago so Im sure figure prices have changed.
>>11842432Gold label exclusively doesn't mean shit, they all end up at amazon target walmart after like a month
>>11842435This looks pretty cool actually
>>11842438Ali express the ko and swap it for the official off of amazon
Damn yall jumped on Matt’s cock fast as fuck. Ain’t got no heart.
>>11842439From pro scalpers for 4x MSRP
Yeah Mattel wins and it isn’t even close lmfao
Streets ahead
>>11842460The mattel fig unironically mogs the mafex
>>11842460>>11842464The Mattel looks like a cheap kids toy. Which is fine, that's what it is. The Mafex looks and moves like a collectible.
>>11842460>>11842464Why do Matt's marketers say ludicrous things like saying a kids toy from Matt is better than an import collectible?
>>11842438I saw a Huntress at a local comic place for 70 dollars, then I paid 90 for Harley on Amazon. Here: >>11842415
>>11842415They've shown off a Batgirl prototype. So it's only a matter of time she actually gets solicited. They just solicited Wonder Woman and she looks great. I have the rest of the Hush Rogues including Ivy and Catwoman and they're both great. Honestly the Mafex stuff is so good and I have a nice established collection of it now that I'll be hard pressed to get Mattel versions of those characters unless they're different versions I prefer or something. But as far as a fairly evergreen version of the bat rogues, Mafex is hard to beat.
>>11841400>If you just skip the whole first half with the original Babs plot, it's fine.Saw Killing Joke in cinemas and even though I hate the Batman/Babs pairing the first part was the only bit I enjoyed. I think watching the movie made me realised I hate Alan Moore. That said I'm still pissed they changed Joker's "one bad day" speech.
>>11842469Because it is for the priceLeft is an $80 2 pack bane. Right is a $100 + Mafex bane. Middle is a $32 3 pack that comes with a Batman and a nightwing.Absolutely mogged
>>11842485>They've shown off a Batgirl prototypeI had no idea, she looks solid.I honestly didn't remember her (or Huntress) even being in Hush, but it's been probably 15 years since I read it.I've always been a little hesitant to get Mafex because of the price and I always see people bitching about QC issues, but with the two I recently got, the only problem was one of Huntress' knees being kind of loose, but with that cape I knew I want to pose her mid-air anyway. Harley is totally perfect.Thankfully with DC I'm really only interested in the femme fatales and what not, Batgirl would be the perfect centerpiece. If they ever do a general comic Supergirl, I'd want to get her too.
>>11842462You think they'll release the Bane on its own? I was super keen on this set until I found out they made the Batman silver, and I just don't need more variant Batmans in my collection.(I know I could just not keep the Batman, but my sentimentality 'tism makes me feel bad breaking up figure packs and selling figures I've bought)
>>11842496I imagine they'll release a better one once the collectors line comes around
>>11842490You might as well say $20 mcfarlanes mogged Mafex. No. They. Don't.
>>11842509yeah no shit.
>>11842420what does 14 days mean anon?
>>11842515He means Matt will play their cards at sdcc regarding DC. I still don't know whether theyre just saying this for the memes or if that's true.
>>11842516hope is true im dying to see the what mattel is doing
>>11842518>im dying to see the what mattel is doingYour mom
>>11842515Probably >>11842385for like a year now he’s been saying see you at 2026 sdcc
>>11842516unless they announce a full wave of 6 inch sinestro corps figures, they won't have my attention
>>11842496If anything it’ll probably be a two pack next time like killer croc and Batman. Whenever they release a single card nightwing I bet he’ll have a back attachment for his sticks. I think you could get away with skipping the 3 pack but at $32 why wait?
>>11842523Well considering we already have 2 GL in the kids line I don’t think we’ll have to wait too long for yellow in either line.
>>11842529Yeah, great another Sinestro. Call me when they do Lyssa Drak.
>>11842513then why'd ya ask ya fuckin depressed wackadoo
>>11842462Dude if their collector version is just added articulation like a reverse ab crunch, butterflies, ankles and double elbows then I’m sold. I was hoping for motu chronicles style but if we can get those articulation points at $20 or so then holy shit.
>>11842532What’s your number?
>>118425411-900-BLUE-ASS
>>11842533i didn't ya dope.
>>11842533I asked (and I keep forgetting there is a collector line coming), so thank you for that. This >>11842513 is not me. More anons really need to make use of the "NTA" preface.
>>11842550Nta but I agree
>>11842527>at $32 why wait?I have a very large collection already and I don't like downsizing, so I'm trying to be more selective about what I buy as I get older. Really I don't need another Batman at all, but the only Bane's I own are the two Kenner Batman & Robin movie figures and the Legends of The Dark Knight one, which are all nice figures, but also have drawbacks in one way or another, so it'd be nice to have a good, well-articulated classic Bane.
>>11842565I mean to be fair you don't NEED any of these figures. If a company makes something new and I think it's worth the price, then I'll get it. I don't have a hard limit on prices, just what I think is worth it.
>>11842565Why does he have hair like that? Does he balance ok?
>>11842565I wouldn’t put it past Mattel to do tribute repaints in the kids line
>>11842570God I want wacky repaints so bad
>>11842569>Why does he have hair like that?It was the EXTREME 90s and the whole line features exaggerated versions of the characters. That said he balances fine, he is a really solid figure.
>>11842414:)
>>11842574You better never have spoken out against Jokerized
>>11842590another amazing doodle by the doodler.
>>11842590>mattel brought the boomer out of retirement We’re entering a new golden age!!!
>>11842591Tbf Mattel’s jokerized Batman looks a million times better than any of mcfarlanes jokerized. Also I don’t think that’s a fair comparison when I’m more referring to Kenner style repaints.
>>11842590
>>11842414Is this Damian from injustice?
>>11842460>worse articulation >painted on shirt>"wins"
>>11842603He only cares that it costs less than the Mafex
>>11842598>Mattel’s jokerized Batman looks a million times better than any of mcfarlanes jokerizedyou people just say anything on here
>>11842603Yes.
>>11842460I have both but Mafex Bane unironically might be the best Mafex figure in general so it really doesn’t That said for $35 it’s an absolute must have if you don’t have a good bane figure
>>11842512Mcfarts barely mog Spinmaster and sometimes Toddler plastic loses - badly.
>>11842512Not equivalent. Roughly each one of those figures in the 3 pack come to $11 each. The only thing mcfarlane sold that was dc around that price where the micro page punchers with comic reprints.
$79 MSRP, or $39.50 since it was a two-pack versus $19.99, but also a two-pack so $10.00, versus a $49.99 single Toddler release (in the box).
>>11842610this is a bad example, because even in this blurry photo the mcfarlane axolotl monster looks a lot better.
Yall can go be faggots somewhere else. These Mattel figures are fucking AMAZBALLS for the price. I’m going to keep buying cheap KIDS TOYS and have a great time playing with them while you bitch and moan. Toys are meant to be FUN. Toys are meant to be PLAYED WITH. Toys. Take your overpriced “adult collectibles” break’em off in your ass. I could stick any one of these Mattel figures up my ass right now and they wouldn’t break because they passed the pull test. You’re paying top dollar for fragile bullshit they’ll explode if it falls off of a shelf. You’re insane if you think you’re the winner here bud.
>>11842631
Batcave Compound and the oversized Kenner Batcave are dope. Anyone here have Batcave set up?
>>11842610>>11842620they really just made some random giant monster for that movie and just named it "kaiju"?sure there's dozens of giant monsters from the comics they could've thrown in
>>11842631This unironically
>>11842631>AMAZBALLSPlease never post again thanks
>>11842645Suck my balls
Maybe we should just enjoy fun affordable toys and stop being jaded adults that need extreme price points to justify purchasing useless plastic.
>>11842648You have none we established that when you posted that shit
>>11842150Someone on that other site that seems to give y'all cooties when mentioned, reported it was the Nu52 Superbro that was at Ross, but they also claimed White Knight Joker, which is old news. So perhaps confusing Classic for Superbro?
>>11842652Ask your mommas asshole about my nuts. Made her fart a was slapping it so hard. She’s my number 2 toy after Mattel’s bane.
>>11842651I buy both.I win.
>>11842624>blurrySister, not everyone is a rich patio owning homeowner well-off enough like >>11839292 >>11840100 to own a Nokia.

>>11842678He really is Da Bomb.
>>11842680dis guy gonna shit in all our plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaants
>>11842658You typed AMAZBALLS unironicallyEverything after that is hilarious but keep trying faggot
>>11842688Nta but you retards are so easily baited
>>11842462
<3
>>11842769Meant for>>11842743I appreciate you doodlefag and I’m glad you decided to stop taking your meds
>>11842414You are in luck
>>11842786literally not the same thing
>>11842770Please fuck off
>>11842616Hostage 3 packs doesn't mean i want every figure in the pack and plenty of McFarlanes clearanced out at 11 bucks or less. I got a Damien and Red Son Supes for between 5 and 6 bucks each from Walmart early in the line
>>11842636It's a guardians of the galaxy idea from James Gunn's dcu
>>11842855So get the one you want on eBay or something. A 2/3 pack is not gonna go on clearance.
>>11842786I like how Man Bat has ankle stuff.
>>11842870It's just a cut. No guarantee it offers much movement. Also the amount of renders is disturbing as we can't see if the actual figure looks good or bad. At least hasbro has physical figures shown in the livestreams
>>11842138Has there been a Vampire Batman action figure that I'm not aware of?
>>11842460>worse articulation>painted on shirt>not even accurate to his Knightfall designI mean if you're on a budget sure it's "okay", but Mafex and McFarlane very blatantly clears this one.
>>11842884Yes. One from DC Direct and one from Mattel.
Batman with long ears just looks goofy.
>>11842884>dat knee
>>11842890Thanks.So outdated. Hopefully the newer companies pick this up so I can have my first Batman. I love this edgy gimmick.
>>11842786Aren't these 12 inch?
>>11842786manbat looks like shit
New teaser from Fondjoy. Is this the first figure of the current Batsuit?
>>11842676It's not becoming of you to be so envious in public anon. You look silly and we are laughing at you.
>>11842962I actually really dig the new batsuit, too bad Fondjoy has been fairly disappointing from what I've seen so far.
>>11842891shut up nolan
>>11843003Disappointing how? They are the best you can get at that price point
I'm gonna need this.
>Valley Forge went out and spent $70-$90 on Ivy>Casually walk into Target this morning to grab neosporin and paper plates on my way back from dropping my dog off for his haircut>See thisGosh, VF must be feeling so fucking stupid right now. Imagine paying Mafex prices for a McFarlane figure.
>>11843086Well, did you buy it?
>>11843086Also, I can confirm, in person, Ivy looks trans
Based chinks
Based
>>11843093the fuck is that arm bend? lmaoIt sticks out because the scultp is actually great otherwise.
>>11843090Its not THAT bad, I've been staring at it for what, a week now and I'm not saying it's great but you guys act like it has a superman jaw line or something. Black mask has tiny baby hands btw, or maybe his sleeves are too long.
>>11843089No, I don't buy McFarts
>>11843106>whoops just took a chunky mcfart kek
>>11843061that's like the goofiest i've ever seen him look while trying to be serious d e s u
>>11843093Is this Absolute Catwoman?
>>11843099>great sculpt>gorilla arms>disjointed mess of a crotch>1/10 boobs on a 1/12 figure>torso basically no connection to the restI forgot /toy/ doesn’t know what women look like
>>11843115Good thing it's not based on a real woman then.
>>11843118Too bad the figure doesn't look like that either.
>>11843118good thing you incels dont breed
>>11843124It's absolutely trying to emulate this style.
>>11843140It’s absolutely failing on all accounts
>>11843141Ok.
>>11843140It isn't doing it well
>>11843086lol my walmart has had a starman jack for a month now and I paid a chinese smuggler stupid money for that, tooI don't want to deny someone a Starman Jack if they want it so I'll rescue him from clearance and keep him mint someday probablyFor like a year straight none of the retailers around me were ordering new McFarlanes so I got conditioned to things just being ebay exclusive
>>11843155You've been told time and again that you're stupid and that you can get these figures for MSRP if you just wait. But no, you decide to be an attention whore and do things like spend import prices on an fucking McFarlane. So fucking stupid. You do these things to yourself.
I think if Starman Jack were looking at two Starman Jack figures and you told him one sat at a Walmart behind a bunch of Supergirls and one was smuggled out of the production factory, across the silk road our ancestors have been using for thousands of years, then across an ocean and delivered to the house of someone who'd been sweating for the Starman Jack release for almost a full year, he'd choose the one that was carried by camel across the desert. If someone else has a Starman Jack, it'll never be as cool as my Starman Jack.
>>11843086so they based “her” on amouranth right I mean it’s really obvious
>>1184278612 inch dawg
>>11843158There's a figure I want in hand ready to ship for less than $80. Previous versions of Ivy sells for almost $200 because every casual and hardcore collector goes after Batman stuff and she's a huge missing piece for a lot of people. Maybe Walmart will get one in stock, maybe I can get to Target before the network of scalpers I know operate near me because all the antique shops within a 20 mile radius are stocked with booths full of their legos and mcfarlanes. It's one thing when you think there are people who are actively looking for these things, but when you know the names of at least half a dozen people who make a living waiting outside Walmart so they can buy whole shelves of Batman toys...I know that sounds like cope but I've been at this shit for a while and $80 to close the deal on a figure that might cost double or triple that down the road and just be done with it is fine. I hate it but it's fine.>>11843168Kinda looks like the Power Girl head with different hair.
I saw a leaked listing on a Chinese site for superwoman power girl from Mattel. What the fuck could that even be?
>>11842908>People say they want toyetic figures>People complain when Todd makes vampire figuresMust be two different groups
>>11843188I was one saying Todd should’ve started doing oc vampires when those were coming out. They were cool as shit but I didn’t want dc vampires
Lot lizards
>>11842962>fondjoyI literally just posted this in the Jada thread Apparently they dissolved
>>11843175Justify it however you want shit for brains. Regardless of whatever you tell yourself to cope, you're still paying scalper prices for what is, quite frankly, a garbage product. For essentially the same price, I got picrel. People like you are the reason scalping is so prevalent. This cost the same price as whatever Valley Forge paid for Posion Tranny. At least the Mafex looks like a woman.
>>11843205This is all translation fuckery. Fondjoy is still very much intact and active.
>>11843211>At least the Mafex looks like a woman.A mint colored fridge
It's insulting that McFarlane puts a couple plants and hands in as accessories for a $35 figure. And didn't even paint the body.
>>11843230Meanwhile for less you can get a 3 pack from Mattel. Anyone giving that beady eyed Canadian fuck money at this point is a shit for brains faggot retard.
>>11843233This.
this figure mog mafex so bad that im thinking to never buy another figure from them
>>11843227Keep coping buddy. She's got more curves than your mom does.
>>11843239It does look good, but it doesn't look that much better than the Mafex. Not enough for me to buy another Hush Batman anyway.
>>11843240My mom looks like the crypt keeper
>>11842867>A 2/3 pack is not gonna go on clearance.shit like that goes on clearance all the time, especially at target
>>11843249ur moms entrance is the crypt and shes the keeper.
>>11843249So, that means I'm right. Thanks.
>>11843239Looks fucking awesome but I’ll wait for a black repaint
>>11843245
>>11843258Nta but crypt keeper got some hips on him. Used to beat it to him on the free hbo weekends.
>>11843259Too bad no one in these threads actually buys these figs.
>>11843227green skin Ivy > normal skin Ivy
>>11843262Anons post their lpzz and inart figures but nobody cares. Like 2 threads ago someone posted their redhood and nobody gave a shit. We buy expensive shit we just don’t usually post about it because the poor do not care to be reminded they’re poor. FYI I’m also the Mattel “shill” according to you whiny bitches.
Can someone explain why this fag is having another meltdown? Go play with your baby toys, retard
>>11843275Who are you even talking about?
Imagine being such a fag you don’t @ who you’re whiny about.
>>11843211Mine should be arriving tomorrow. Catwoman is next week.
>>11843281Based. You said you already had Harley so you'll have your Gotham City Sirens complete by next week.
>>11843284Yeah, it'll be a nice little display, and once Batgirl comes out I'll be done.
>>11843287>and once Batgirl comes out I'll be doneCan’t wait to see it in two years!!!
>>11843289I couldn't find any indication of when she's supposed to come out. It seems like they showed the prototype alongside the Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne, which are up for preorder.
Glad I passed on her after seeing how they screwed up the paint color on the head matching to the body. As well as just the headsculpt in general.
>>11843304Are you crazy? The colors aren’t that far off and the headsculpt surprisingly looks really good. Reminds me of Jessica Rabbit
>>11843304face botox ivy, there's something poetic about that.
>>11843308that head is yuge
>>11843291Mafex only does two solicits a month so it takes them a bit to get stuff out. Bruce, Clark, and Wonder Woman all went up and were from that show, I'd imagine Batgirl is coming sooner rather than later.
>>11843308jessica rabbit if man
I really do want a Hunter/Prey Motherbox costumed Superman now. Guess I'll have to get a Waverider now, any decent options for a Doomsday figure?

>>11843308you are fucking blind
>>11843304Only fags hate this. Enough with this weak ass bait.
>>11843413keep trying, mosche
>>11843239>>11843252>Those thick veiny legs and handsome face sculptsHow much are these figures? I was just thinking about buying Mafex Hush Batman and Superman. I might just wait for these instead.
>>11843460
>>11843460>>11843461Nobody cares about this dead line anymore bro.
>>11843467You can't stop me
>>11843476Spend that money boo boo
>>11843461They did a pretty bad job painting this particular one at the top of her bustier.
>>11843476the doodler will stop you.
>>11843460They look pretty good, better than the original releaseAside from the fact that she's still massive I wish they had given her the heels from the golden age wonder woman
>>11843510>better than the original releaselollmao even
>>11843510you won't trick me into buying the same figure again
>>11843262basically what >>11843267 said, these thread are filled with poorfags who buy fartlane or dont even buy toys at all
>>11843524I think they have shifted to buying the Mattel kids line now. McFarlane is too expensive since so many are $35, or difficult to find if red platinums, or they're just Batman and Superman
>>11843160Where's that Shade from?
>>11843413>fagsor pedos
>>11843524They mostly just bitch and call people poorfag while never posting any of their figures, whether they be domestic or imports and as such deserve to be ignored outright.Kinda wild the mcfaggots and poor fags actually try to use an image board for posting pics while the rest just of general just seethes at the gall of someone enjoying something, even if it isn't great.
>>11843537They're bots.
>>11843537Glad to be one of the few people still actually posting toys.
>>11843546Whoops, forgot pic
>>11843548The crotch piece seems oddly undersized.
>>11843460>>11843461>>11843304Looks really bad. Did they get a new sculptor in the past year? Because Black Canary and both of these, the head is just way too wide in the face. Looks weird as fuck on a woman. The PP Supergirl was so good, did whoever sculpted that get fired or what?
>>11843562Rumor is that mcfarlane just outsources their sculpting but no one has proven it. Also my guess would be they have all their good sculptors on the Marvel statues or other projects, and just have the dregs on DC now because they lost the license.
>>11843582That would make sense actually. I saw that Lizard one in person the other day and it’s honestly pretty great looking
>>11843582>Rumor is that mcfarlane just outsources their sculpting but no one has proven itALL their sculpting is freelance just checked LinkedIn. This has been common knowledge for years.
>>11843610this is not unique to mcfarlane. most sculptors are freelancers
>>11843610I don't see how that can be proven with linkedin. Sure you may find people who say they are contractors for McFarlane as sculptors but that doesn't prove they all are.
No one remembers this figure. What happens to figures that are forgotten, tens of thousands were made, do they eternally sit in the basements of their owners, the figures being gnawed on by rats until they are lost forever?
>>11843644I never forgot
>>11843644>>11843645TODD! YOU HAVE FAILED THIS FIGURE!
>>11843093I hate that western companies themselves in fear at the thought of Twitter and pearl clutchers that they refuse to acknowledge tits.
>>11843647>>11843645This was the best McFarlane could do with face print tech. McFarlane sticks to the old ways. They have old Chinese men sit and individually paint the faces of each figure for 2 cents per brush application, which is why their figures now cost $34.99. Because no one there could figure out face printing.
>>11843649Same. Finishing Phantom Lady this weekend and maybe starting Power Girl.Just checked Walmart and Target for the Ivy wave but nothing yet.
>>11843617>>11843633They have instagrams where they talk about their work
>>11843657That is amusing. Do any of them brag about sculpting bad headsculpts like the face sculpt on that new Ivy or this Black Karenary?
>>11843657okay, and? most sculptors are still freelancers across the industry
>>11843652Damn, you painted these? Actually kind of impressive.
>>11843652love that catwoman
>>11843688Thanks. I'll probably reprint Phantom Lady and really go the distance like something I could submit to Monte San Savino or display at Verko's Vault but I'm still a long way away from that. That's like my life goal, I don't have it in me to make comics of her but I don't mind dedicating a lifetime to getting better at painting with her as my eternal muse.>>11843691She was really fun. I know for sure I'm gonna print and paint Vampirella and Death so I went with some purple in her costume so there aren't two pale chicks wearing solid black. Now that Todd is making artist specific versions of characters, why the fuck don't Adam Hughes and Terry Dodson have sublines? Todd is already going heavy with female characters, so he needs to stop flirting with the dark side and just embrace what he's meant to do. We all know Mattel won't deliver the goods.
Anyway. We're coming up on time for a new thread so if you want any specific picture or lists post them and I'll include them.
>>11843549Not every character can have a massive cock like Mcfarlane Catwoman
>>11843201Man they cheaped out on the paint. The previous uma poison ivy had a nice dry brush over the leafs but this looks so plain and the gall to charge 40 bucks after tax is such bullshit. Fuck mcfarlane the greedy fuck became all for profit despite claiming he didnt care about making few extra bucks Also its funny seeing so many saps on fb groups dumping their collections for major losses. Everyday a see new posts with cheap lots
>>11843836Ok we get it. You don't need to spam promo pics for this thing.
>>11843651And they created wonders
Never gonna give you up! Never gonna let you down!
>>11843836>Hushat least they copied the only comic accurate cape by tmnt of all things
>>11843243how big are these? and what cumpany?

>>11843092they really, really wanted to make Batfleck look thin, didn't they. must have been hard on them not to go overboard with visible abs.>>11843096guess will start seeing maskless jason todd heads for 35-50 showing up all over ebay and mercari soon>>11843129silly rabbitthey can't even manage to fap it to coomer toys
>>11843838
>>11843925How much do these usually go for? I'd be willing to give this a go if it's not outrageously priced.
>>11843925There will never be a better Batman figure than this.
>>11843896Why bring out the gold label box? The figures and hands are the same regardless of the box.
>>11843252>smiling headhell yeah
>>11843958I will now buy your Superman figure.
>>11843423If Jarrett wasn't such a useless OP, you'd have several options to easily check, but UPF-LPZZ really pretty much price out the same as Mafex or Hot Toys, only FondJoy, Beast Kingdom of those with legal licenses, will save you any money off Mafex and other Japanese companies. And Beast Kingdom has put out some stuff in the same price point.Only FondJoy or CT will give you less expensive, and FondJoy actually has a legit license.
>>11843944>>11843961Sorry meant to tag you as wellAlso - sites are already taking pre-orders even without a release date - or even giving you a final price even after taking your money for a 'pre-order deposit,' but you can see the final price of other, similar figures by the company (Arkham Knight) and those are $100+ even before the tariff and delivery nonsense:https://gundamit.com/lpzz-1-12-batman-hush-superman_p8526.html
>>11843966Yeah I saw that they're like $120 prior to shipping. I dunno, that's even more expensive than Mafex figures for me. I'm still paying around $75ish before shipping and even with tariffs and stuff I'm still getting out about $100 for one shipped. I dunno if these look THAT much better that I'd be willing to pay $120 + shipping. I know the chink shipping won't be as expensive as nip shipping but still.
>>11843961>FondJoy actually has a legit license.>implying people here of all places actually care about that
>>11843896McFarlane is nightmare fuel for artificial scarcity now. Figures tons of people would want available only at a comic con. Even hasbro just dumps con exclusives on pulse. McFarlane is so weird because this doesn't help their bottom line at all since they limit production so heavily, especially on the con exclusives like that beast boy
>>11843986Todd is just stuck in that 1990s mindset, it's really no different than the current variant cover scheme going on in comics now, only you could at least get a copy of the book even if it wasn't the cover you wanted. Todd is just keeping an old fashioned practice going of blink and you miss it.
>>11843986Just how many people do you even think want White Lantern Hal? Do you even read Blackest Night?
>>11844032>>11844032>>11844032
>>11843968I want the Hush Superman now that CT is making one, I had one bad experience with a Mafex KO that the ebay seller then claimed was a CT and offered to replace with a new CT, and then offered to refund me 50% if I didn't file a claim through the site. He was banned from the site but those types of sellers pop back up. At least it was easier to get my money refunded via ebay than it would have been through say Ali but now that I know what to look for and how to avoid scam scummy sellers, that's what I plan to do. I'm just waiting for the store I have in mind to post four legit reviews with pictures. I think the last time I checked it was $40 including the shipping, which means I can expect a damaged box and a crushed package.
>>11843986>McFarlane>artificial scarcity>>11844003>>11844009Todd is just stuck in a comic book shop mentality, where you produce fourteen variant covers for the same issue and sell them all, and idiots buy books and then buy shit like shelves and pedestal for their big omnibus editions. But none of them FUCKING read those huge paperweights, much less any one of the 13 other variants. Those get bagged and boarded (and probably some get slabbed). And then these fucking people put their boxed toys up in their living rooms, or 'man caves' to show off what looks like a badly laid out toy aisle at a furniture thrift store, to mimic the same energy as the idiots who do the shelf threads on /co or elsewhere.
>>11844009More than the approx 2500 that will be available, and yes i read it many years ago though found it a bit distasteful from my perspective. But that's me.But I don't see why Hal fans wouldnt want to collect a shining white version of Hal as a White Lantern even if its a tiny snapshot from one bit of an event. It really would stand out on a shelf.
>>11844158Are you guys seeing it too or is my brain /pol/ fried?
>>11843847i do not hate that batman
>>11844179I've got White Latern Batman and I think the white and silver just look off, it's like the white isn't white enough and the silver kinda looks like a shiny bright version of a grey kinda. Maybe they tweaked the formula for Hal. I think a White Latern Sinestro would be pretty awesome, but it's not happening this late in the series.
>>11844218I kinda see it but I think any amount of /pol/ is too much.
>>11844218nein
>>11844158https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0p-NyGCEeN8
>>11844320TrueBut that's how it came out of clam shell, so technically the employees of the factory used by the KO company (and it wasn't CT, I latter found out, but a Malaysia company that knocks off CTs, which I assume Mafex suits find amusing), those employees are the ones responsible for putting a dead iron spiderling in a box and sending him across the pacific ocean by his lonesome.
>>11844378why is kite-man 'presenting' in this picture?and 'presenting' to whom?
>>11844158Lmao the 1 thing that can get you banned on eBay is circumventing their standard procedures, what a retard
>>11843245Okay, this will be my first LPZZ figure
>>11844291>>11844218fried and probably tired
>>11842150lmao she has downs syndrome
Man, the Batfleck 2.0 from Fondjoy is such an improvement in the articulation
>>11844544
