Is buying the CoolProps Thomas even worth it? I'm kind of a die hard fan of Thomas & Friends. The teal edition that released this year is on doorzo for $6,500 and it's unironically one of the rarest pieces of Thomas & Friends merch that exists. The normal one without Annie and Clarabel costs $1,950 on doorzo. I'm thinking maybe I could by a bachmann ho scale teal and normal thomas model and buy the kato face pack to slap on the models and call it a day. But I don't know I've always wanted a replica of the TV series prop since I was a baby so I don't know. Iv'e always worried about making a 3d printed version because I live in a very hot climate and fdm can warp.

Buy an Elegoo Mars 05 Ultra for $300 and teach yourself the basics of blender. There is no sane reason to spend $6500 on anything like that.

Nta, but I have that exact printer and have been using it for a while now to print minis for my D&D camoaigns. Is there a particularly good channel/series you can recommend for learning Blender?

Is that really a toy? Sounds like it’s a prop replica.

Just do what >>11845833 said. Also there are people who buy the screen used faceplates and cast them in resin, you should look into that.

This but unironically. You will benefit greatly and will have way more satisfaction having actually built something yourself. Buy a car for the difference in price, idk
