>>11846694Thankfully I’m not interested in any of this
>>11846682I want this so bad. Stinks that the license is still so funky. They showed off the gal playing Pamela in that Crystal Lake show, wonder if NECA is going to make her?
>>11846690no guns allowed pal
>>11846690Guns are too quick.
>check out NECA Australia>$90 for Sackhead Jason>check out ebay>$40-$50 for same thing, and it's NIBI don't understand this. I've never bought NECA before but I'm interested in the Sackhead Jason fig they have. Is NECA horribly overpriced through the Australian store, or is NECA a common scam product on Ebay?
>>11846809I think it's cause your currency is fucked. If it's cheaper on eBay just buy it there. Though the newer re-release coming out will have some minor paint and articulation upgrades.
Big Bird is reeeeally good.>B! B is for Badlands!
>>11846812
Dek is reeeeal good but hindered by the skirt, so that's unfortunate. Still a nice feeling figure.
>>11846817The face plate swaps are really nice on the predators.
>>11846811>I think it's cause your currency is fuckedProbably lol.As long as it's not a widespread scam thing on ebay then I'm sure it's just corpo pricing in Ausfagland.>Though the newer re-release coming out will have some minor paint and articulation upgrades.Oh cool, didn't know this was happening. Is there an ETA on when that releases?
>>11846825The store is saying Q3. Could be sooner than that. If you're impatient, you can snag the figure now. The articulation improvements may not even be something you care about. The last several Jason re-releases have had the ball jointed hips and pegged hinged wrists. And, again, just minor paint applications and changes. If those are all too minor for you to care about, you'll be fine grabbing what's out there now.
>>11846809Keep in mind that the prices listed on the Necastore do include GST, but NECA in general is overpriced in Australia. Places like Popculcha and other collector shitholes just take the American price and double it when converting to dollarydoos, but they do that for everything. The Playmates TMNT Footcruiser was $80AU. I have bought from the US Necastore in the past, but I'm not sure how viable it is now since they opened the Australian equivalent, because they might region block you or shipping might be rape now. These days I just buy my NECA figures at Big Bad Scamsite because it is less of a scam than buying locally.https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/product/friday-13th-part-2-ultimate-jason-action-figure-34461?variation=69866$40US, and their cheapest shipping for one figure is $9US and generally takes 2-3 weeks (and I'm in the bush). And BBTS will charge you GST because our government made all large online stores do it, so that's nearly $55 total. After currency conversion, it's gonna be about $80AU shipped. Compared to Necastore with the cheapest shipping which works out to $102 total, so you'll save $22 buying it at BBTS. Unless the exchange rate goes to shit before then. >>11846811Our currency isn't great, but it isn't really that bad at the moment. About $0.70US=$1.00AU, so we should be paying roughly 50% higher according to the exchange rate. For example, the new MOTU Core movie stuff was $15 dollarydoos at retailers, which works out to about right according to the exchange rate.We just get gouged by collector stores, so NECA decided they could charge roughly the same or more when they started up their Australian store. For the most part, that is. I have seen some stuff on their store or on Costume Supercentre (the Aussie equivalent of Costumes dot com) that was priced decently. I got most of the movie Turtles there for less than it would have cost to import them.
>>11846809Also, I forgot to mention regarding eBay prices, check what they are charging for postage. It is fucking ridiculous these days. Your $50 figure might end up costing $60 to ship.
>>11846809And a second follow up, check where the eBay listing is located. If it's China, then it's most likely a bootleg or a USB thumb drive that will give anything you plug it into super AIDS.But looking at a few of the ones there, they say the seller is local. I'm guessing they are just clearing out the old ones now that the updated version is on its way.
>>11846887How the hell does Australia have their own NECA store, but it's more expensive than BBTS. I thought the whole point would be having the bulk delivery to Australia would mean cheaper figures there.I've wondered about the tariffs too. Wouldn't they ship directly from China to Aus to keep prices down? I can't make sense of it.The Aus store doesn't ship to NZ so won't take my my dollariwis. I have bought stuff from Popcultcha though, occasionally they have decent sales. Also Sugotoys though I have yet to ship anything so not sure what the real cost is.
>>11846674There are multiple reports of Target cancelling people’s Savini Jason orders, so be aware of that.
>>11847750Oof, guess another figure to add to the list of canceled releases.
>>11846887>>11846889>>11846894Well, I've gone and ordered it. No shipping fee, store location in Australia, and the store has a very positive rating. Seller even sent me a whopping $2 off offer to encourage me to buy. I guess I'll see if there's anything stank about in 2ish weeks.
