What does /toy/ think about soft-goods?
The pricier figures and third party ones seem to favour it.
>>
Case by case basis.

This.
It depends on scale, manufacturer and the character design. Soft goods are always bad as tight full body suits like with capeshits. A mixed-media is best. Plastic coats, long skirts always ruin articulation. Western owned companies always make terrible soft goods that look total ass.

I like them

I like them. Vinyl/plastic coats, skirts, etc restrict a figure's posability. I still remember the POTF2 figures where you had to take the capes off to seat a figure in a vehicle.
>>

I dont really like it unless its covered, those parts tend to discolor quickly over time

it only looks good at 1/6 scale, because any smaller scale, you cant capture the details of the clothing and the thickness of the clothing becomes weird

Agreed. Some of it works well (adding a cloth good cape), some of it is excessive.
That sweater >>11847001 it has on feels like something most actual humans would never wear
Don't know about the pants or the guy on the left, but the red on the guy on the right looks like an additive: >>11847007

>>11847092
Agreed. On 1/12, soft goods capes and robes generally look fine, but frumpy shirts/pants look terrible.
>>
>>11847001
Soft goods should be used more frequently in first party action figures. Mainly female characters, as they usually give them plastics skirts that limit articulation.

SHOW HER TITS!
>>
>>11847327
you do know this is the interwebz and there's plenty of porn on there?
of real live people?
not just plastic dollies?
>>
>>11847001
I like them, one downside is pants. Some poses the figure can do but the pants feel like you're going to stretch or break the seam on them.
>>11847440
Desire is about specific tits, not tits in general

soon after her father's presidential term ended, Ashley lost importance, and her skills and knowledge can't land her a job

so she turned to the one thing she knows, giving men overtime
