>be me>naive, not too interested in Pokemon since around 2014>list on eBay a couple of empty Pokemon booster packs that I've had stashed for 20 years>doesn't even take 3 hours to get messaged by a scammer>block and forget them>the next day get two more people messaging me>both have similar feedback as Scammer #1, saying they either scam sellers to get packs free, reseal opened packs to scam buyers, or bothI removed all the listings and guess I'll keep them for now. I could sell locally, but I don't want them to be used to scam someone who might pay a lot for an Ex Deoxys pack they think could have something good inside. I hope future kids see the drama and greed that pervades this hobby and move on to something else, and Pokemon card collecting dies as a hobby to anyone under 40.
>>11847067There's a ton of videos on Youtube showing how much Pokemon scalpers are absolute scum. Just be grateful that they don't know where you live or you'd find your home broken into.
>>11847067what are you even talking about? Why do you care if something you sell gets used in a scam later? Just sell your stuff and move on, you can't even rip eBay selllers off anymore
>>11847178Did you miss this part?>both have similar feedback as Scammer #1, saying they either scam sellers to get packs freeThey were going to falsely claim to eBay that the packs OP sold them were fake, or resealed, or whatever so they could do a charge back. Scammers don't only try to scam the people they sell to. They scam everything they can.
>>11847210I caught that, did you miss where I said you can't even do that anymore? eBay just pays out both parties nowadays
>>11847178>t. scumbag scammer
>>11847067Sell them in a fb group
