>>11851588If you look at what DCMV was in 2020-2022 it was exactly "Todd just wants to have as many Batmans on a shelf as Hasbro has Darth Vaders." and not "Todd's line was for lifetime collectors who wanted cool, definitive versions of characters they already had."Everything has gone mad if somehow the opposite can be said. Up is down, down is up. Cats and dogs living together, fish raining from the sky.

do we know anything yet about Mattels Collectors line? Like price or scale?
>>11851614We are expecting more info this weekend at SDCC
>>11851595How many years will people have to wait for Mattel to release their Happy Meal versions of Power Girl and Starman Jack? I'm holding a Billy Dee Williams Two Face that got made just because it's a cool fucking figure. Todd's DC line was a wild ride, there was a cool mix of classic designs, movie versions, and newer stuff. The best figure of the line is probably the Page Punchers Brainiac, and that was just McFarlane Toys going off and doing their own thing, playing to the company's strengths to create something weird and different.Imagine if Mattel were told to come up with their own version of Brainiac. It'd be some generic unpainted robot, soulless and boring. Mattel has stayed alive by always playing it safe, never taking risks, and making cheap products for five year olds. After almost two decades of grimdark Snyderverse stuff that drove away an entire generation of kids, DC is really keen to get back to offering products that kids want. Masters of the Universe proves that if a franchise is allowed to wither and loses that connection with kids then it's just going to die and fade away.Right now DC is trying to cover the basics and make sure the franchise can survive. It's going to be really interesting when Superman and Batman go public domain in a few years.
>>11851620This guy is a scalper and supports scalping
>>11851619but that's SIX more days.
>>11851620>It's going to be really interesting when Superman and Batman go public domain in a few years.Actually it won't matter at all. For example, Mickey's first incarnation already entered public domain and nothing major has changed. The issue is only the ancient version of Mickey from Steamboat Willie is public domain and Disney still holds the trademark to his name. So no one can release a tv show or movie called Mickey Mouse still or call their character Mickey Mouse. The same will be true for Batman and Superman. DC will still own them lock stock and barrel besides ancient looks from the late 1930s that are very little like modern versions of the characters. And even if a product was made mimicking those looks, it can't even be called by the name Batman or Superman. There are already bootleg Batman and Superman figures made in China that are in a better market position to sell.
>>11851609same, and im the biggest 89 faggot here probably. reusing the crappy head and not painting the emblem properly 5 times in a row is pretty fucking bad.
>>11851620you're holding the cheapest of toxic chinese trash featuring the image of a liquor salesman that couldn't get through his latest role without being drunk off his ass, and never even got to star in the feature you idolize him for as anything other than a background character. It will break within 3 years should you unbox it, which you won't, because you don't even actually enjoy this hobby.
>>11851630There are those lame public domain horror movies with Mickey and Winnie the Pooh, but those are just edgy deconstructions of characters nobody really gives a fuck about and are inherently shallow and boring.Imagine a no shackles hard R horror movie with Batman fighting even a generic serial killer like in Seven, or finally getting a Superman movie about Superman that doesn't have dipshits like the Justice Gang taking up half the screentime.>>11851658>>11851621It isn't my fault I went to walmart to buy diapers for my buddy's kid on the way to his birthday party and saw a full wave of McFarlanes sitting there for msrp that will easily go for double or triple that on ebay. Honestly, I kind of suspect I have Q powers or God loves laughing at me because I swear there was a beam of light coming down through the roof window shining right down on that aisle, like the clouds were parting or a quest marker in a video game.I don't know why you're wasting your time being angry at God's favorite McFarlane collector instead of just posting your own stuff.
>>11851669I told you last thread, I saw the Wonder Woman wave a week or two ago and other than taking a picture to make fun of you for paying a scalper $120 for Poison Ivy, I just left the figures there. You really do nothing to help your case against being one of the most irredeemable attention faggots on this site.
>>11851669You're lying to yourself about the resale value. No one's actually buying this stuff for very much over MSRP, certainly not enough to outweigh the credit card interest you're undoubtedly putting the initial purchase on + selling fees and shipping costs.
>>11851675Ironically enough he is one of the people that overpays for figures to get them early. He just was bragging about paying a scalper $150 for the Poison Ivy that's hitting stores right now.
>>11851677He's got main character syndrome and that's why he likes Todd so much. Todd is the main character of main character syndrome.
>>11851614Wed or Thurs night
>>11851678You like thinking of yourself as an NPC?>>11851675>>11851673If the value drops then I get to keep a cool Two Face. I'm hoping the Alex Ross Superman goes cheap, I only grabbed the Batman so he can be shelf buddies. Batman 89 is neat as a shelf buddy for Chris Reeve Superman but not necessary. Like I said last thread, it all depends on what happens on ebay.I also have them up for grabs in a follower freebie thing but I'm betting whoever wins will choose something else up for grabs like Silver Age Supes or one of my extra Power Girls.A lot of variables. In the meantime for the next week or so I'll just chill and enjoy them.
>>11851687Todds are collectible figures made by Todd. Surely they will go up in value once Mattel starts serving their un-wired capes on every store shelf in the country, while our Todds remain strong with high quality wired capes.
>>11851620Fuck I hate I missed him, that head looks great. I was going to ask you to post it but now I can avoid that >>11851687Sheesh. Money, power, bitches, followers and toys.....No wonder you won't be my friend .

>>11851737And yet here we are. Todd put his worst sculptors onto DCMV because he knows these will sell no matter how bad the figures are, even at $35. Collectors just need to stop being easy marks and no one would be able to take advantage of them, but they never will.

>>11851785this is called fomo. stop it. you are a fool if you truly thing this. In 10 years the figures getting put out will outclass the ones we have now by miles, just as it's always been, and you'll just be selling your old stuff to get the new ones. This line of thinking is a trap that locks you into a life of constantly buying anything you only kinda sorta want.
>>11851785Oh please. You lil faggots are such pessimistic retards you don't even know what you're talking about. It's more probable you'll die of retardation in the next 10 years than fucking Batman toys no longer being made.
actually good figures with un-fucked faces coming in hot
>>11851791>>11851792Nice floors. The statues on top of it are alright too. Which SHF did you get?
>>11851796I'm memeing they are essentially statues and also suffer the same scale as Todd figures. I don't really want to display them and am probably listing them soon, but they were cool 15 years ago or whenever it was I got them. The figuarts that is absolutely not the one I clicked is Fighter of Rage Goku
this is definitely better than Todd's Ivy tho
>>11851801>The figuarts that is absolutely not the one I clicked is Fighter of Rage GokuNice, i just got mine in as well, need to open him.
>>11851806I'm waffling on keeping him. I was about to crack him when I remembered he's gonna be next to a fucked up battle damaged full power Frieza which doesn't really make sense, but he is a great figure. Decisions.
>>11851801I have so many DCD figures sitting in a tub in my garage. I want to get rid of them but I'm also afraid they're just sticky messes at this point since I live in the desert and they've been subjected to some extreme heat over the years. I don't want to open the tote to find out.
>>11851810As long as it wasn't humid in there you're probably good. You'll be thinking about it til you check so just check now and post pics, it'll be fun. No one ever talks about these anymore.

perhaps we have been too harsh on Toddbut probably not
this is 100% a re-used multiversus back drop
>>11851813yeah but that ones for the Hyper Dimension shelf, this is the Frieza I was referring to
>>11851810>I want to get rid of them but I'm also afraid they're just sticky messes at this point since I live in the desert and they've been subjected to some extreme heat over the years. I don't want to open the tote to find out.Like >>11851811 said, as long as it isn't too humid where you live, you'll be fine. I have a box of childhood toys and other nicknacks like trading cards, Game Boys and other consoles, stuff like that. All stored in a non climate controlled storage unit for about two decades. I also live in the desert and summers exceed over 110 degrees where I live, although we have very little, to no humidity for 90% of the year. Even after almost twenty years the toys in there were fine, some were sticky from plasticizer but not any more so than other childhood toys that my mom kept in her house. Others were fine too. In fact, my old Digimon toys from when I was a kid still sit on my shelf to this day, they're fine other than some loose joints, but they got that way long before getting stored from heavy play. All my old consoles still turn on, display video, and run games no problem, both my Game Boy Color Advanced, and my NDS all still work, my old Pokemon Blue save from 1999 even still works. I think you'll be fine.
>>11851804oh shit I'm 100% printing a flower crown for my Ivy nowthat's dope as hell
>>11851820pls do yourself a favor and get those consoles recapped soon. They do leak mobo and chip destroying acid and they are at end of life.also i must now admit to owning the McFarlane 89 Batmobile, oh well.
>>11851823You should tell people it's your Batstation. It only plays Batman games.
>>11851823Meh, I don't have the hardware at my own house to plug them into to play them, plus everything I have on there I have downloaded and backed up. I prefer digital preservation for games, emulation up to the PS3/X360 era has gotten good enough that the games run and look better on emulation than they did on the original hardware. Anything after the 7th gen has a good enough PC port that you don't need emulation outside Nintendo games and a couple of handful exceptions. I've been on a big media preservation kick the past few years gathering as many old games, comics, TV shows, and movies as I can store. I still get movies on physical media, as I don't have the storage for my entire UHD Blue Ray collection, but for games, comics and other stuff, it's all digitally stored and backed up with backup drives stored in my fireproof safe. I have like 2TB of console games and old PC abandonware games, about 150GB of comic scans (about 6000 individual comics), and a couple TBs of TV shows. And then my Steam account is 20 years old and has like 450 games on it. I'll be alright.
>>11851788>In 10 years the figures getting put out will outclass the ones we have now by milesEverything must come to an end one day, anon. Whether it be physical media, action figures, a country, or civilization itself. Your confidence towards eternal progress is naive. Especially with the inevitability of continuing price increases that price more of the base of collectors out with few new collectors to take their place. Eventually action figures simply will not be profitable to make anymore, and they will cease being made. Whether that is in 10 years, 20 years or more, it is a certainty.
>>11851821i got that figure loose on eBay and the guy did fuck around with it a bit, the flower crown isn't original I don't think. he had good taste>>11851824THIS Batman game>>11851826fair and same here, I was even more keen to play Godzilla PS4 on the emu than my PS5 recently until it got too annoying to keep working. >>11851828Again, the chances of you dying of retardation are higher than no more DC figures being made in a decade.
>>11851833How many Indiana Jones figure lines are running right now?
>>11851837how many people care about Indy vs Batman? How many canon Indy figures are left unmade after the Adventure Series line wrapped up? How long til Harrison Ford is a corpse?
>>11851837Indiana Jones has less juice than Batman, and you're a fool to compare the two
>>11851832I have my original consoles just for the sake that they were my consoles when I was a kid. I didn't even have all of them until a year or two ago when I bought my house and my mom dumped all my old stuff into my garage. It would be cool to display them, but even then, meh. It's much more convenient to just have everything playable on my PC.
>>11851837You are actually deluding yourself if you think Indiana Jones has the same level of staying power as DC comics which have been around for nearly 100 years.
>>11851843>actually playing TaskforceSadist. In reality I never really use my big complicated CRT setup, and I even have a much smaller one tied to a Mister FPGA now and default to emulation anyway. Whatever way you choose to play doesn't really matter at this point.

>DC General: Scalpers Edition
>>11851938I'm not even talking about Iran.Covid caused a huge shipping shitfest that made toys more expensive, upended people's lives for years. Then the tariffs caused another huge shitfest that increased the price of everything including toys. Now the AI shitfest is making computer components, and other items tied to usage of AI double or more in price as well as having an effect on electricity. Even if you were only looking at toys, two of those have have an impact that otherwise wouldn't have happened. We'd probably be paying like 23.99 for MLs at the moment if not for all this instead of 27.99 and maybe 21.99 for McFarlanes instead of 26.99. Maybe Maximum series and Elite Editions wouldn't exist. Maybe CEs wouldn't exist or at least would not be 34.99.Hormuz could impact plastic prices through oil but it's not 100% certain it will raise prices on toys permanently yet but its caused plenty of short term chaos.
>>11852021Does he really not even come with any accessories? Kind of crazy

>>11852045Scalpers like you are scum
>>11852045Well I saw it and remembered you were looking for one. No offense but I'll ship Two Face after I get Superman. I like figures with stories and a Superman that represents a trust between two anons on 4chan sounds pretty cool.
is there some reason Mafex did specific storylines like Death of Superman and Hush? I assume they get commissioned by the media companies to make the figures
>>11852100>why did they do two popular more modern stories for two of the most popular charactersIt's a real headscratcher.

>>11852109>>11851591
>>11852118He had two paths to choose when Hush Batman was withheld from him in a cruel act by Amazon and ultimately by McFarlane for improper distribution practices. He could've walked away from the DC Multiverse line and remained blameless. But he chose the darker path. He now buys up figures, looking for rare, expensive figures that would be prized so he can sell them to the highest bidder. He follows now in Todd's example, depriving ordinary people of modest means of figures they would love and cherish. He has become the monster he once cried out against. This is the curse of DC Multiverse.
>>11852057Works every time.
>>11852112I can't wait for someone to make decent figures of this cast. I'm 50/50 on supes himself but I need an actually good quality toy of Lex, Mr. Terrific, and the Hammer.Guess I'm stuck hoping for... What... Mafex at this point? God, Mezco? What a terrible thought.
>>11852108>modern storiesnigga death of superman is 30 years old and Hush is 20but that wasn't my pointtypically a company would just do a non-specific version of the hero/villain, I'm curious if there's a known reason for why they did the opposite
>>11852029everything you just rattled off is fake economy bull shit that doesn't actually matter. Nothing actually changed. You're still buying toys. >Boo hoo I live in the country where I can make more money than someone with the exact same job title anywhere else, my Goku costs an extra $5 this yeardo you realize how retarded that sounds now
>>11852137Hush in particular is known for being a gallery of iconic batvillain looks, I understand why they use it as the basis for their American superhero line.Death of Superman is a little stranger. Steel and Hank Henshaw the Cyborg Superman have their most iconic looks in that book but Superboy's most iconic look is probably his fuck-ass t-shirt look circa Infinite Crisis. In this case I think they are still coasting on the name and reputation, decades later it's still remembered as a major event with lots of cultural clout. Some millennial dickweed with the ultimate helicopter parent was able to parlay talking about it with his Hollywood friends into a briefly successful film career.
>>11851938How do you go through life being this stupid?
>>11852156>inflation is "fake economy bull shit" and increased prices on everything doesn't matter You must live in a far more gilded cage than most of us, the effects outside just toys are palpable and force people to adjust their budgets. I take it you don't have a budget.
>>11852325>>11852312pfft euros
>>11852203Right, but now they're doing Doomsday and he was just branded generically as being from "Superman" And Lobo, who is just classified as "Justice League"But Batgirl is still "Hush" even though Barbara in the costume is only in Hush for like half a page in a flashback whereas she's Oracle for 99% of the story
Bones is back
>>11852435Well Doomsday is from krypton or a krypton scientist right? Like that's why he went after Superman because krypton blew up and supes was the only one left.
>>11852137You asked a question & I answered with the obvious. Yes, Death of Superman is still modern by comic book standards. And just like Hush, the storyline featured a wide variety of characters letting them pull from the same story.
>>11852515But Doomsday is a significant character in Death of Superman but they aren't using that branding, they're just using generic Superman branding>>11852521>the storyline featured a wide variety of characters letting them pull from the same story.Again, you didn't answer why they did that instead of why they didn't just do a nonspecific "Batman" subline
>>11852535Because the story is popular & already has a lot of major rogues plus side characters, retard.
>>11852618againwhy did it need to be attached to a story at all
>>11852623Because they felt like it. Maybe it was a stipulation when they originally got the DC license. Who fucking cares?
>>11851669Weak bait sanjay
>>11852626>Maybe it was a stipulation when they originally got the DC license. Why would it be a stipulation for them but no other companies making DC figures?
>>11852633You forgot to take the name off when you hopped threads fake Marvel OP
>>11852634It could've been that they initially were only to get the license for that one story. Or maybe they were only interested in doing this one story and then expanded to other DC properties. It really doesn't matter at this point.
>>11852641So, you don't fucking know either.Don't be a hostile fag next time.
>>11852646My point is no one fucking knows. You continually screeching about it isn't going to get you an answer. And, to be fair, you were being hostile first, I was just matching your energy.
>>11852633Shut up crimson commander
>>11852648>screeching about it>"why is this happening?">"shut up, retard, the answer is obvious (even though I don't know either) so stop asking stupid questions"
>>11852651I never asked "why is this happening"
>>11852655I did, retard
>>11852657I mean, you've been harping on it for like an hour and a half now. There are a number of reasons and you should be able to gleam some of them all on your own. Drop it already.
>>11852662>there are a number of reasonsSuch as?Again, because you kept ignoring this part, they could just do a "Batman" subline and make all these same characters and they would look near identical, and wouldn't need to be tied to a specific arc that is finite and doesn't actually include every character, but they did not do thatThough they seem to be doing it nowAnd, once again, I'm asking if anyone (but not you, since you don't know a fucking thing) knows why
>>11852664I listed several probable ones earlier. >And, once again, I'm asking if anyone (but not you, since you don't know a fucking thing) knows whyLiterally no one has been able to explain why they do DC the way they do. You're not going to get an answer that will satisfy you. If you don't like the possible answers I gave earlier, then that's on you. Chill out and post some toys or something.
>>11852664Because it's easier to differentiate specific versions of characters based on the stories & thus the artists depictions, stupid. You have actual autism & will probably still not be satisfied with this answer.
So whomever claimed the nu52 Superbro was a Ross Con mcfart was probably confused since I have the other four (but not the Action Comics #1, but I assume scalpers are beating me to all of the good stuff).
>>11851621That is insane.
>>11852693This came out last month and I haven't seen it anywhere. How is it at Ross?
>>11852727Toy companies do not know distribution. They do not understand. It is the furthest thing from their mind. Rarely have I ever seen a product that actually had good distribution in this day and age besides like Black Series Darth Vaders and MCU Ironman and Spider-Man
>>11852772It isn't so much the toy companies fault as it is the retailers that order from those toy companies. Stores like Target and Walmart do not give a fuck about toys. The toy section is probably the lowest priority in the entire store outside of the two months leading up to Christmas.
>>11852843Pretty much, I guess there just isn't enough margin for big retailers to push toys outside of their collector cons and Christmas. It's irritating AF that stores like WM have so many store exclusives to help drive foot traffic but it's either boom or bust with those. I can't tell you who many trips I took looking for Krang or Mutated Mer Man.
Mattel wins. See you at sdcc. :)
>>11852882kids figures with three or four extra poa won’t cut it ;)

>>11852932how about working on bleez's bubble butt?no?didn't think so, fucking who cares
>>11852634Many others do. McFarlane figures often credit the source story the design is pulled from.
>>11852963>many others donoand mcfarlane credits the artist more often than not
>>11852938Bleez and Star Sapphire would be real nice, not McFarlane versions either.I want that Mattel ass
>>11853009mcfarlane is doing star sapphire according to the leaks, but there's a high chance she'll have a tranny face so there's even less reason to care and I already don't care

You ready?
You ain’t ready.
Get ready!
Mattel's Collector line reveal soon?
>>11853214Like, we won't see anything until tonight at best
Guys I’m genuinely excited. Mattel’s kids line has been great. I’m hoping for motu chronicles style figures but if it’s just the kids line with added articulation, sculpting and wired capes I honestly wouldn’t be disappointed.
>>11853214Tomorrow
>>11853223>McFarlane Toys: Unreleased, Unannounced, UnleashedLmfao are they going to show all the dc shit they had to cancel? Holy shit that’d be hilarious.
Stop talking to yourself.
>>11852727Target reset has moved a lot of stuff these past few weeks. People have been reporting all sorte of NECA, Bandai, etc. Also notice how HIGH it's priced. That 3PK is not much less than Bezos or retail.
>>11853238Yes.
Walmart is now dynamic pricing their instore pick ups and deliveries by ebay prices for select mcfarlanes. I loled.
>>11853013There's a high chance she wont be at retail and might just be MTS only given how late in the game their license is by Nov-Dec
>>11853296seems kind of pointless to put it in ross if its not cheap as if someone goes to ross and sees something for 30 bucks they're probably going to pass. if they're making the trip to ross they weren't there to buy overpriced toys.
>>11853341The cheaper thrift shops have been increasing their prices more and more over the past few years to the point it's becoming almost as expensive as just buying retail. Go watch some Goodwill hunt videos and be shocked at what they're charging for literal trash.
>>11853341Those are the only trips Ive ever made to Ross, and I've found something three times. Total.
>>11853341I was surprised that the Make It Mind Harry Potter potions, which someone here recommended for mad scientist props sold at $20+. And that LuthorCorp lab also sold at $20+. I was hoping for it to pegwarm and get pink tagged like the Black Series figure I picked up today for $2.99 for her backpack, flashlight and to dump her headless body into a fodder lot so I can dump useless shit like all these Todd BAF pieces I have. I finally picked up that Lab for $12+ at Target because all I want is LexHoult in his green battle suit. Especially now that the pictures people have been taking price that was some early design for the first movie that got cut (like the Yeti), but still got turned into a toy do to lead time.
>>11852100>>11852137Japan doesn't get linear translations of American comics, they get select stand out story arcs. The way American comics look is very different from Japanese manga which has a standardized look with some slight style changes as the series goes on due to the artist changing styles. But American comics will have multiple styles within a storyline due to different artists. To sort of make due with this, Mafex seems to mostly commit to specific eras for their figures.
>>11853345Goodwill is a fucking scam. There entire system of taking shit donated to put onto eBay with scalper level mark-ups is just shitty behavior for an alleged charity. It would be like FIFA donating World Cup tickets to a local church group for underprivileged kids and that group turning around and reselling them on StubHub and claiming that the profits fund their work, which 'benefits the children. And yes, they are charging absurd prices for trash. My second-hand hair dryer finally broke after 6 years so I walked into a Goodwill to look for a replacement. They now make you take items to the cashier to test them, so you would need to get into a fucking line just to find out if you can buy shit. And a new, cheap Chinese dryer from Amazon was less than the cheapest thing they had at Goodwill so I just walked out of the store.
>>11853360It's unusual that the Japanese who are interested in western comics don't just adjust to how American comics are, like how we adjust to how manga literally have no coloring except for an occasional early panel or cover.
>>11853363the profits do fund the work anon. what do you think they're just gonna dump an NES setup from someone who died and whose family members just dropped all their stuff off onto an orphanage or something?
McFarlane Toys just shit on everyone who paid $30 or more for Power Girl. At least she wasn't $35 MSRP though.
>>11853445I get to buy more Power Girls? Did they fix the belt?
>>11853453No, its just a re-release.
>>11853463I'll take it. I painted my Power Girl while I was on mushrooms and fucked up a spot on the back of her belt. If it's a Vault release that's an instant three more.
>>11853468Every day you prove to be a bigger faggot. It is actually kind of impressive
>>11853468Couldn't you just have removed and redone the belt spot?
I don’t understand Todd’s reasoning on this re-issue when the repaint that has more paint just came out.
>>11853474You know that overhang under the belt where the red paint meets the white? I was trying to line that but then wiggled and when I wiped off the red paint it'd stained the underside. It's only like a drop and on her back so who cares, but I decided against fucking with it entirely and sealed her. Also I suspect the sealer I use is going to start yellowing. I think I'll just pop the head off the one I have now and put it on a new body. Thanks for the Power Girls, Todd.
>>11853477Same thing I thought. It feels like McFarlane Toys has multiple teams who don't talk to each other and one decided on which Vault figures to do and another decided on the repaint.
Oh shit she's up
>>11853484I don't see any yellowing in that image but the torso having blue shading but the arms not looks a bit off. With shading I feel like you've gotta go all in on specific parts of the costume that are all the same material.
>>11853488Autism is one hell of a drug
They literally named the banner on their site after Power Girl in the filename but none of the other characters. Someone within McFarlane Toys is obsessed. Also who really asked for the Santa Batman to be reissued? That is almost as weird a choice as the old Azrael.
>>11853505Or perhaps it’s a direct message to Jarret
>>11853505wow, santa batmanthe power of todd
>>11853491Yeah I should have used a lighter bluish grey that was less noticeable.>>11853499One for display, one to keep mint, four for backup>>11853505If anything is guaranteed to get me to show up it's Power Girl
>>11853505Should have reissued Super Powers Mr. Freeze instead.
>>11853511>three to scalpftfy
>>11853511You've made Todd a very rich man.
>>11853515There's still time to release a Phantom Lady figure.
>>11853518My guess is you would buy 24 of those from BBTS if they will let you.
>>11853505Cool, now I can have more power girls than our pal VF. MR Freeze is awesome, I missed out on him thinking I could find it later. Idk about lighter shade of blue azrael, the one I got a few months ago isn't broken or anything.

>>11853598Why do they now insist on this terrible Robert Wuhl headsculpt for him? The silver age digital is perfect.

>>11853671Yes. Batman is unironically a terrible character. If Bruce wasn’t mentally ill the lantern ring would’ve chosen him over Hal.

I'd be ok with having a conversation with a few of you guys. I mean, as long as you didn't keep referring to the general or something weird like that I wouldn't see a problem. It's hard to make new friends when you get older so it'd be kinda nice to actually talk about comics with a person who enjoys them.
>>11853898>I didn't realize McFarlane Toys was such a nefarious organization until all this platinum shit started happeningtodd did like 8 different color variants of the original bendy-limb Violator way back with the first wave of Spawn toys back in 1997 or whatever
>>11853916That didn't really matter back then as there was no online ordering so most likely you went into K-Mart, found the regular one and bought it. That was it. I know since I had all of Spawn wave 1 (which was around 1995 or so) except Clown which I didn't want. They were easy to get. As evidenced by the fact that many unopened early Spawn toys are still cheap on ebay now. Tons were made until they started shifting to be more a Suncoast, Spencers, Comic shop niche staction thing. But now when most ordering is online and most stores barely stock action figures, he is sending people weird variants of figures they didn't order randomly when they just wanted the one in the solicited picture.
>line is going to end with no Watchmen>line is going to end with 59 Batmen and not a single definitive one Can’t fuckin wait for tomorrow evening desu senpai

>>11853978>you can get the three figs for only $25 after shipping*after taxwhoops! Obviously if you have Prime shipping is free.
>>11853979No problem. Surprised nobody is talking about this. It's too good of a deal to miss out if you've been on the fence with the Mattel figs or if you've been waiting weeks for the 3 pack to go back in stock.
>>11853951Knightfall is pretty close, BUT it has a plastic cape. >>11853961Because not only is Batman sick of Batman figures the figures themselves are sick of being created. I don't think White Latern Batman looks that great in person. The white and silver looks kinda muted and it's just kinda like a shiny grey instead of a white and silver. Maybe they ran out of silver paint with Captain Atom.
>>11853985>Knightfall is pretty close, BUT it has a plastic cape. That's my only issue with knightfall. The plastic cape. I've been waiting forever for knightfall batman but with a wired cape to be announced but I don't think we're ever getting it.

I'm going to try to watch the MotU movie. I've never seen anything MotU and the only thing I know about it is Mattel was too pussy to make Conan figures so they came up with this gaudy neon fever dream of a franchise.

After looking over the heman figures I won’t accept legends 2.0 with wired capes. I want what those figures have going on. Not accepting anything else for a collector line.
