I broke off a piece from the hub too, but it was some of the extra feather layers, it looked like a separate piece that was glued together anyway. my wings went in pretty easy, but one was a couple milimeters further out than the other and I slipped trying to get it the last bit in, I felt like such a jackass when it happened, it was one of the first things I did, the figure was barely out of the packaging. I bought some generic replacement joints off aliexpress but their pegs were a little big for the holes in the wing and I haven't tried sanding them to fit yet so just don't get clumsy and ham handed like me.
