Just ordered pic related in a confirmed box. Not that much more expensive compared to a single random. I'd say it's like 0.5USD more? I don't think it's a rare so that helps. I just wish that the Ultraman Wheels line would have more of these attack team vehicles rather than only having 1 per wave. Maybe if they were 1/3rd of the wave. There's so many iconic cars in the Ultra series but I suppose that means Blokees would also need to acquire the actual car license on top of the Ultraman license...

I put emphasis on it being water based because Tamiya's accent liners which are popular, are enamel based and WILL cause plastic to crack if used without coating the plastic. Water based ones are also a LOT easier to clean just using water and q-tips.

>>11864658Except if you end up with a packing error, which happens but is really rare, buying a sealed case will get you every figure of the wave besides one regular version of either headliners, which will be replaced by a Galaxy or Armor chase. If you're chasing the combiners, the only thing you need to keep in mind is that dino mode Grimlock will be one of the chases from Defender W04, so if you want a regular grimlock to have all of your combiner look consistent, you may need to buy it separatedly, in case you get one of the chase variants.

You only need to know that Blokees has an official no-repeats policy for full, sealed cases which means all the 1/12s you see are confirmed. The secret variants (1/144 and 5/144) normally replace the same character (1/24) in the case.

Seems the leak for Ultron may have been inaccurate. It's already the 31st of July, of course today is the final day in July but I feel we would've seen photos by now just like King Joe which is early August. It would also line up with my pre-order for it not having moved. My Daredevil pre-order has shipped and is moving though but that still has no photos from Blokees or any actual date announcements. couple of things to note when building this. his fingers are individually articulated. it'll be tricky to connect the fingers as you go because they do feel fragile so be careful holding the parts. I almost lost one of his fingers because i didnt put enough pressure and it flew out. also, his knees are VERY tight so i recommend having sandpaper ready to shave the joints down by a smidge. overall, it's cool. he really has some heft to him unlike the rebuild eva, probably because of the LED unit. his torso and abdomen is quite dense

I have Blokees King Joe on the way, hope there'll be a USB-C rechargeable LED kit for it too. The cells on those stock LED modules seem annoying to swap.It was possible with Keeppley's because the torso was big and hollow enough to insert a whole custom PCB + battery pack + speaker. With Blokees there is less space due to how it separates. Or maybe I'll just add reflective stickers to the underside of the clear parts. idk.

They were spending a lot of time and energy on Facebook and reddit and still seem to be as active on reddit; no clue about FB since I am not on there, but the pages you can get to publicly, without an account, aren't as busy or updated as I remember them being a year ago. I never go to Instagram so no clue but when I do look at their pages, it's mostly promoting TF, BFC, and often, the most recent 'con' type appearance, of which there seems to be something almost every month. I was only interested in the Spider-Ham - whom I would want to scale smaller, so I haven't really paid attention but yeah - I believe you are correct, they didn't release defender class. They might in the USA since I think the Galaxy and the blind box concept for them would compete with Hasbro's kids toy scale, which is very profitable for them, and the existing blind box relationships Marvel/Disney has.
I hope one day Blokees releases a 100% Havoc in Heaven's Sun wukong. Still happy with this guy

Idk if anyone remembers me posting about my secret rare Optimus that got mismatched with sharkticon parts a couple threads ago, but the replacement finally came in. When I have been in a Target or Walmart and needed help, I've had to explain what I was looking for and why it might not be in "xxx" aisle as they are trying to shove me off to and to get them to literally look up information and actually assist me. At hobby shops and at import (typically Japanese), they often either know when I say Blokees what I am talking about, or I say 'like Bandai Model Kits" (which is what I say in import shops) or Gunpla. Even LCS stores that don't sell Blokees knew what it is when I asked (but I admit that was well after Transformers was probably in their 5th or 6th wave, no early on).

It's funny because I bought the blind box while I was visiting New Zealand, but I live in Australia and asked them to ship it there. I'm surprised they did it without me providing a receipt, I just had to spend a couple days emailing them back and forth.
