I don't think this is something that's quite up to the standard I would want to display on my shelves as an adult collector. But me as a child would have easily just jumped on these without a second thought. Because this is pretty much already how I treated the ginpla sets I had as a kid. I would always try kitbashing different combinations, And I would go even further than just swapping the arms and legs, because I would often try separating the lower legs and forearms that were already press fit together. And I ruined so many of my god damn sets by snapping the little 1mm internal connecting pegs, or leaving pry marks all along the edges. But I had fun, and that's what counts for kids.Also, as someone who's cracked A LOT of ball joints as a kid, I have to point out and respect the super reinforced socket designs. This shit really looks like it's designed to be idiot-proof. And as a final thought, I dont know how much this shit's going to cost, but even kid-me would gladly pay 5-10% more if they would add in cover panels for the hollow sections. That shit looks like cheap ass garbage
So are any of the brands on OP's rundown - robots that can scale with standard (1/12) action figures? Even at least a 5 inch figure?

Anyone here got great robot base from the recent diaclone reboot line? I've heard that it came with supports because the legs can't support the combine robots weight. Is that true?

Seems like it's the same overall color scheme, But they are using the standard head, not the EX head. Also, as someone who bought into the OG Tread TM, it is by far one of the laziest and lamest of all the TM sub line. And probably the most deserving of an entire redesign, to try making a proper Battle Tank TM
