While the clothing being molded on is a possibility, it's also equally possible that she'll be nude with soft goods clothes once they actually start working on her. Remember that the last time we saw her was when she was just a cutout of her artwork, like the loli doe is right now - this is just a proof of concept showing her in 3D for the first time.

Same for the sockets that hold the faces and bangs. So, other than color, heads are swappable. Though this might not be true as the number of species increases.

While the full furry faces can fake more looks by repositioning the eyes and angling the head, you're stuck with just two static looks for the mid furry faces - straight ahead neutral and smiling while looking to the right. The least they can do is give mid furry the same options; either that, or include more faceplates for mid furry to make up for it.

You should NEVER have them looking perfectly straight ahead, or you get that "dead fish" look from them. Slightly adjusting the eyes so that the bottom curves of the irises are just barely visible (and by extension making the eyelids crop a bit of the top of the iris) makes it look a bit more lifelike, as human faces almost never show the full iris unless something's wrong.
