Nothing from SDCC set my world on fire this year, but this is pretty cool.
I want this
Best reveal. 3 heads for moleman is awesome!
>>11861795Warning: Articulation looks pretty bad. Needed finger articulation at that size.
>>11861799My brain says $39.99 MSRP but my brain on Hasbronium says $46.99 MSRP.
what are my niggas in the genny getting today, if anything?for me, it's Cyclops, Gambit, and maybe Magnetomy love for the Dafne X-23 figure compels me to make a live action X-Men display
>>11861829Just Magnus for me and it's only because he's a decent stand in for a Grant Morrison era Magneto they'll probably never actually do.
Finished Spider-Phoenix since it will absolutely never EVER get a figure and put him in the Enter Electro display
>>11861829Nothing, they didn't do a good enough job on the 2 MCU figures I might have bought, Doom and Thor, so I'll see if they get cheap or won't buy them at all.
>>11861837that looks really cool, anonI always picked the scarlet spider suit in those games
>>11861837Nicely done. Good use of the old Scarlet Spider head.
>>11861844>>11861846Thanks anons, the Scarled Spidey head is unfortunately the only one I had that matched up. Preferably I'd have liked to get the ToyBiz Spin n Trap Spidey head but that one is hard to find especially in the EU, so this one will do for now
All of these look like shit.
>>11861837I'm at a point in my life were I do understand the resentment for mutants. Humanity was right to build sentinels
>>11861892As the only person who doesn't like Channing Tatum's look in Gambit's costume, even I have to admit the figure is an impressive likeness to what he looks like on screen.
>>11861895I like that it's not a totally neutral face like they usually do, his expression looks appropriately like he just said something stupid and is posing with his staff
>>11861837Noice
Face the might of DOOM
>>11861829None, but I don't collect live action stuff. Maybe Cyclops if I ever see him on sale, since I'm a Scottfag and love Marsden in the role. The brown boots trigger my autism though. Why would you commit so hard with every other aspect of that suit only to not do the yellow boots and gloves?
>>11861910the figure would've been based on concept art before they finalized the actual shooting costume, and he'd ended up with brown boots in the movie people would've complained if hasbro went with yellow boots thinking it looked better
>>11861908Do kids even care about MCU movies now? I guess someone must be buying these and there's no way an adult would....right?
>>11861908>>11861921It's the kinda thing an uncle buys for their nephew that they'll play with for a maximum two days before chucking it into a toy box to later be sold at a garage sale or given to goodwill.
>>11861908>>11861921Ollie's show at least black kids don't. Full of the equivalent toys for Black Panther.
Why don't you buy 1/6th Marvel gen? There is some impressive stuff to be had for only 300 bucks. That's just roughly 5 Marvel Legends 2 packs.
>>11861927Fully articulated.
>>11861927Im poor or I have taste
>>11861927I have considered getting a hot toys occasionally but I'd just have too much autism about having one giant figure and not multiple, and I definitely don't have space for more than one
>>11861931> I have tasteIf you're too afraid of the girl figures there's a cool Gambit figure for the same amount, but they made the Magneto and some the others higher priced.
>>11861927They rarely make shit that I'd want, it's mostly movie slop. There's also the element of each figure being a ticking time bomb of material degradation.>>11861933This too.
>>11861927I'm still surprised they gave her such a nice ass.Anyway, I collect 1/12-1/10 and have pretty much all my life. 1/6 would just look out of place, not to mention they're space hogs and you generally can't pose them as well because of the cloth/pleather/silicone.
>>11861927if I was going to spend 300 dollars on a 3 foot tall figure, I'd probably just get the Haslab Galactus off ebay or something
New wave is up.Amazon has them listed for a November release.
>>11861941Wow did it really not hold its value?
>>11861962Yikes, Doom looks rough compared to the promo images
3 more days until the only good Ultron releases
>>11861970Looks heavily movie inspired but the head doesn't match. Is that really a comic look?
>>11861799Marvel's blind guy that has radar sense and fights with sticks
>>11861969why does this doom have a round belt buckle when every other toymaker has a square one and the in the trailers it's also square? are we really getting 2 dooms or is hasbro extremely retarded again?
>>11861927anon please>some character from some game I don't play>300 bucks that could go to stuff I actually want>it's just a big barbie doll>implied higher quality, nothing there can do a better job than regular plastic would.>it's not meant to be played or fiddled with. it'll sit on a shelf collecting dust and devaluing faster than any marvel legends could.fans of hot toys like them for these reasons and that's just not me.
>>11861962Did Magneto sell out?
>>11861980Dude can you see it? It's much higher quality than a Marvel Legend
>>11861969>grey plastic instead of silver paint (which we've seen them use plenty of times)>no power/magic effects>lifeless plastic cape >hood that sits higher than it should>no paint wash to bring out details, just a few spurts of airbrushing Genuinely awful
>>11861969He can punch or clap.
>>11861972It's his look from Marvel Rivals, the game.
>>11861993I doubt he can bring his hands together
>>11861985magneto didn't go up for order, the listing wasn't active, and still isn'tI have gone to get some groceries and come back in the past 30 minutes, so it's not impossible it didn't go live and sell out, but I doubt itI'd check again at the top of the hour if I were you, that sometimes happens
>>11861986it doesn't do what I want from an action figure. end of the story.
>>11861969this looks like what they'd put out for lines made for 10 year olds and younger
>>11861997I found his Amazon link on IG, judging from the comments he hasn't gone live yet. I'll keep an eye out though. Thanks!
>>11862001Well post it so I can stalk it too
>>11861997>>11862001I'll bet he's cancelled cause the "nazi legs" thing caught mainstream attention
>>11862002preternia on twitter has all the links
This is how Amazon wins. By getting everyone talking about Magneto not being available yet, they generate FOMO and people buy him en mass.

>>11861969it's amazing that this line can shit out genuinely amazing live action figures and then put out some unfinished looking piece of crappola in the same wave
>>11861998Given that tangled mess of ugly joints, especially that toe hinge, it doesn't do what I want an action figure to do.
>>11861978ML's is based on the earlier version of the suit. Marvel later changed the belt because as we all know they like to flip flop things all the time. Can't really blame hasbro here
>>11862010Shut the fuck up retard. Why do you even say such stupid shit?>>11862014That's cool, but no one asked.
>>11862011Thanks I don't want to give that other guy free money
Magneto looks so sad and defeated, I don't think I could bear to look at him on a shelf. Where is the proud, defiant mutant of old?
>>11861969Jesus, will they go bankrupt for using metallic paint for metal parts? Almost thought this is a kid's line
>>11862018It's the same link I got from him, just expanded out because 4chan thought the original link was spam.

>>11862026
>>11862050he used to be more like logan when he was just a guy who was stocky and hairybut then they made him blue with wolverine hairbut several marvel characters have wolverine hair
with this >>11859234 in mind, is SHF Gamerverse going to continue or no? I really want Captain America in that style
Decided to grab the Gladiator and Deathbird two pack while it's slightly discounted on Amazon. While I'm not a huge fan of the Shi'ar, I always thought Gladiator had a sick design and the figure is a good representation of it. Cape sucks, but it is what it is with the hard plastic ones.
>>11862074My uncle owns Bandai, he said >we’ll see
>>11862074Just because Hasbro abandons the gamerverse branding doesn't mean SHF has to, unless it's a dictate from Marvel themselves in which case future similar releases may just be called Marvel Games from them too if Marvel Games is shared branding across licensees.
>>11862011Magneto is up
Give us Marvel Legend figures based on the 90s cartoons. Give us weird mullet Scarlet Witch and Hypnotia.
>>11862079The thrid party cape scene for him is a nightmare for autistic people. The best option for years was for whatever reason colored super brightly, and then when this new two pack version came out that actually did have bright colors, they changed the length of his collar to be shorter. So if you wanted one that was as high as the plastic capes collar you either had to get an old one or get fucked.I guess you could just make it yourself though
>>11861784Getting a Children of the Atom Sentinel is pretty hype.
>>11862124>hypnotiaHell yes
>>11862119Got em
>>11862020He looks homeless.
>>11861980
>>11859184>no extra heads>almost no effect parts, even single war machine got more>No proton cannon (which already exist)are they even trying?
>>11861965Nah, it easily goes for double that. Anon was just being very optimistic.
>>11862020True to the source material, I'm not entirely convinced Ian is still alive personally.
>>11862169It's cute how you ignore that costs of everything has gone up, no, of course they can't include as much as they used to.
>>11862200cost of alternate hands and effect pieces for the forearms are not high enough to warrant cutting back
>>11862200Marvel Legends' prices have gone up with everything. In fact they have exceeded inflation.

>>11862256no, they aren'tit costs nothing to rerun piecesparticularly soft plastic neon green swirls
>>11862241champion
>>11862269>it costs nothing to rerun piecesGood thing you don't run a company. You'd be bankrupt by now.
>>11862241Oh boy it's tiny and big arm man
>>11862207I agree with you, but I do find it a little funny you need a calculator to figure out that $20 to $30 is a 50% increase. Also, unlike most of the pay piggies that cheered the removal of BAFs, I clocked right away this was a huge decrease in the value of an average figure. If a BAF piece is roughly $10 in value, then a $30 figure is a 100% price increase (!!!) over a $25 figure with a BAF [25 - 10 = 15 x 2 = 30].Of course, this is all part of the overall market trend to sell action figures exclusively to collectors who largely make emotional purchases without considering value. Right now, Mattel is the only major company selling cheap and high value action figures with their 5.5" MOTU movies figures for $10 and 6.5" DC playline figures for $15. Whether they will remain at those prices, or were temporarily priced as "loss leaders" to kickstart their new toylines remains to be seen.
>>11862276Then explain the tremendous overhead of re-running an existing mold based on size and material qualityI'll wait
>>11862281Anon, that calculator uses inflation to show what MLs should cost if its prices increased by the inflation rate now, i.e. $25.79
>>11862288Inflation isn't the only cause of increasing prices though anon. We have the tariff bullshit that was pushed by both parties and then we have this bullshit war with Iran that has fucked the entire global economy even further. However, even when you take those factors into account the cost of MLs, relative to everything else, remains fairly cheap. Sure, I would have talked at and never paid $27.99 for an ML even a decade ago, but in that same breath, I could also purchase myself an entire meal at McDonalds or Taco Bell for what it costs to buy just one pound of uncooked ground beef. Toys are still relatively inexpensive compared to everything else and that's what I base my opinion on. Not the actual dollar value, but the value relative to everything else in the world.
>Leave RDJ to us
>>11862302hopefully this'll put mafex closer to making him
>>11862307I’d rather the fat fuck be soft goods
>>11862310I would most certainly not
>>11862300Tariffs and the Iran War both cause inflation that affects many goods including toys. Inflation isn't separate from those, it takes into account the price increases caused by factors like those as well as factors like the government printing money, material costs going up, etc.
>>11862311I want him to be able to move and not look like shit
choose one or wait like a chad for the mafex
>>11862312>honestly when factoring those chunky little tariffs and costs and materials rising and printing money and the economic downturn and foreign warsGod you /pol/ tards make every hobby sound gay when all you do is cry about money, are you poor?
>>11862314and you think a soft good blazer and pants would allow for that?
>>11862315I do think a Mafex is likely but not even within the next 5 years given they'll do 10 MCU figures from movies that already came out and then like 3/4 heroes from Doomsday before Doom
>>11862319You see how baggy they are?
>>11862322you see how high his cuff is going just from having his arm bent at a 120 degree angle?
>>118623215 years? i doubt it. i wouldn’t be surprised if they do a John wick 4 situation where Doomsday comes out and they announce it via a picture a few days later. They’ll only do it for him tho.
>>11862328they clearly have a queue and they've only shown a prototype for 1 of the 3 thunderbolts figures they've announced, along with preorders for Moon Knight and Sony Carnage, you're gonna see a full Fantastic Four First Steps quartet and probably a 4th Thunderbolt before they get to Doomsday, and that's if they don't randomly do Scarlet Witch from MoM and Kate Bishop or whateverAnd then they'll 100% do Cyclops and Gambit before anyone else from Doomsday
crap got a few more, Toybiz bases. Pls identify what they came with? White top left has wheels on the bottom, I think top right is Colossus, no clue what bottom left is
>>11862333wrong pic
>>11862331PLUS, because I forgot, they showed prototypes for MCU Ladypool and Kidpool, meaning they probably aren't even fully done making shit for that movie, I would've expect Blade or X-23 before either of those
>>11862325Yeah good thing the jacket is removable
>>11862317You should totally keep denying reality. That'll fix things.
>>11862312Still, I think the official "inflation rate" or whatever they claim is bullshit since so many items are outpacing it price wise. That's just my two cents. Regardless, it's not just happening to toys and is happening to everything and toy prices are still cheap relative to everything else. Toy collecting isn't even my cheapest hobby. I shoot guns, one of mine shoots ammo that costs about $1 a shot. Toy collecting is pretty cheap unless you're exclusively buying Hot Toys or expensive customs. At least compared to most other hobbies.
>>11862340Ameirca should stop giving money to israel maybe your toys will become cheaper
>>11862285You think plastic, paint, and assembly costs stay the same? You're really out of touch.
>>11862338And Disney+ Daredevil and Punisher
>>11862344You think including these with the new Doctor Doom figure would be cost prohibitive. You're a fucking retard.
>>11861784Holy shit thats awesome
>>11862342They shouldNobody will argue with you about this
>>11862341haha I always tell people Guns are the expensive hobby you could possibly be into. Thousands and thousands of dollars, especially living in a ban state with "pre-94 manufactured are ok" rules in place. I have a huge stockpile of ammo and haven't shot in like 6 years cuz I just don't wanna spend any more money on that stuff, I got my kicks out and scopes zeroed and it can all just sit now.
>>11862346You're why everything in the economy sucks now. Maybe educate yourself before talking. Maybe actually go outside for once.
Did any Jap company ever do a ScarJo Widow? I know Mafex didn't, but is there a figuarts or anything? It's weird that there's no upper tier figure of her at all, except for like Hot Toys I guess
>>11862366>this guy thinks the economy is realWhere is the battery compartment on the Days of Future Past Sentinel?
>>11862366You still have no explained the prohibitive cost of production of small reused piecesI can only assume you believe Hasbro reuses pieces because they hate you, not because it's cheaper to do so
>>11862346NTA but nothing is free anon. It costs them money. Probably only pennies, but money nonetheless. And as stated before countless times I'm these threads, these figures are budgeted by wave. >>11862353>I have a huge stockpile of ammo and haven't shot in like 6 years cuz I just don't wanna spend any more money on that stuff, I got my kicks out and scopes zeroed and it can all just sit now.I fuckin hear ya brother. I'm the same way. I go shooting now maybe once a year. And when I go, I buy ammo for that outing and don't pull from my stockpile. It's an expensive hobby. I want a new light for my VP9, but the main thing holding me back from getting it is, I don't want to have to pay an EXTRA $250-$300 on top of whatever the light costs to replace my Safariland duty holster with one that can accept a light attachment. I love my VP9, best striker fire 9mm on the market, hands down. But fuck H&K tax, holy shit. Any accessory for it from holsters to magazines cost a fucking fortune.
>>11862300>We have the tariff bullshit that was pushed by both partiesAaaaaaaaaaaahahahah! This is hilariously stupid, even for this board. Can't wait to hear about how the Dumb-o-crats also went to war with Iran, started a trade war with Canada, passed tax cuts for the rich, etc.
>>11862367Bandai did a bunch in her various different looks. Are you new? Did you not Google SHF Black Widow?
>>11862370>as stated before countless times I'm these threads, these figures are budgeted by wave.but that's not factoring in that Gambit was probably prototyped earlier than the others based on Deadpool 3 shit, and how the most recent wave of Deadpool 3 figures seems like they might've swapped out a more interesting figure for the random grey deadpool that wasn't even in the movie
>>11862373You don't know what Gambit was prototyped for. You're just making assumptions. And that doesn't preclude the fact that the cost to produce the figure, molds and all, are probably budgeted to this wave. So it doesn't matter when someone designed him.
I only preordered Magneto. I'm not that into movie figures, but something about him speaks to me and I imagine he'll be a real bitch to get later.
>>11862371the Tariff bullshit from the left involves it not being ok and having to pay it back, which is fake and gay. If we just had the tariff's T wanted everything would be hella cheap for us by now, but no it keeps waffling back and forth wasting away any gains.
>>11862374it would if he got shuffled
>>11862371But Democrats are the ones that make him change the Tariffs based on mood swings clearly
>>11862395yeah thisleft alone the tariffs would have unironically ushered in a golden age for anyone living in the US

>>11862417No it doesn't, how the fuck would that even happen
>>11862550great placement for having so many figures I might suggest using a second one, though, just to give them more display room
>>11862552a lot of the times guys get impaled up the ass by horns
>>11862556One, that's not even fatal. At the most famous running of the bulls in Pamplona, only fifteen people have died since they began keeping records over a century ago. Two, why the fuck would that happen to Stephen Colbert specifically
>>11862560>why the fuck would that happen to Stephen Colbert specificallythe ruby buttplug would attract the bull's ire, obviously

>>11862604Make sense, but still getting one in latam was a huge deal back in the day, i hope they're not bootleg. These are reliable store, but still i hope they're not fake
>>11862600There's a lot of those harder to get figures getting a re-release outside of the states. Lizard is apparently coming too.
>>11862606it was mostly a jokebut within the realm of DVD sales on ebay, there are regularly massive increases in stock of random formerly "rare" sets that do actually come from people going through disused warehouses in europe and finding crates of sealed discs, sometimes they're even region A
>>11862609And the cel shaded Spider-Man from walmart. Maybe they realize people in here almost had no chance to buy them except from re sealers or little stock from their official stores.Anyway i'm happy to get one
>>11862016Well damn, thanks for the heads up. No doubt that Hasbro would release a more accurate version down the road given their track record.>>11862315Surprised to see that the SHF seems to have gotten the correct belt design this time around when they've had similar issues as Hasbro before.

>>11862605what’s wrong with mafex?
>>11862650I think he means that you'll be waiting a long ass time for a Mafex Doom
>>11862655compared to what? getting an inaccurate figure that forces you to double dip? let’s not forget that even the accesories for the shf could be inaccurate like endgame thanos
>>11862665well, I'm NTA, but I laid it out earlier in terms of what's confirmed to be in the Mafex pipe line vis a vis live action Marvel shit, it's like 10 figuresAnd I wouldn't anticipate actually having a Mafex Doom in your hands until like 5 years from now
>>11862681also keep in mind they still haven't even done Thanos even though they have started doing bigger characters like Bane

>>11863010damn every version of sam looks like he got ass cancer since the last movie
>>11863011If I pull that off will you die?
>>11863014it would be extremely painful
>>11863016You're a big guy.
>>11863018FOR YOU
>>11863011>now you'll REALLY regret not going to the dance with me, Ashley
>>11863019Gasp!
>>11863019Why does he have ears
>>11862600The cel shaded animated Spider-man Walmart exclusive is suppose to be getting reissued as well.
>>11862387>If we just had the tariff's T wanted everything would be hella cheap for us by nowAre you mentally retarded?
>>11862133That does like a huge pain in the ass. I wonder if people who try to get custom Doctor Strange capes face similar problems. Gladiator is a character I don't really care about going the extra mile with though, so that's fine. Jim Lee Deathbird is what actually sold this two pack of I'm being honest.>>11863019Was getting caught part of your plan?!
>>11863082>who try to get custom Doctor Strange capes face similar problems.Shockingly not. There's two different comic ones always in print and like one for every MCU figure because its the Chinese who make these
>>11862923but I didn't even test how far he can move, unless you tell me you shouldn't crunch him at all.
>>11862829>>11863120Do you have a pic?
>>11862315Could they have used any more fabric on the figuarts' oversized cloak, it's like it was made for a much larger figure
who the fuck paid this much for just the stupid fucking whip?
>>11863120no I wouldn't say that
probably the rest of the figures we'll get for the movie, not counting Xavier, another Jackman and maybe Tobey
>>11863179its funny how gay and awkward this looks with them rounding up all ther characters and getting orbiting shots. its like a really bad roll call
>>11863182it's aping the one from avengers 1, but it's just weird and awkwardit's also funny how this scene has leaked a ton of times but nothing else has, almost like it's been repeatedly put out in better quality each time on purposewe'll probably see it again but with finished SFX in like october or whatever
>>11862241>the coom becomes the coomer
>>11863179>best scene of the movie>it's terrible
>>11863033The better to hear you with, my sweet!
>>11863203the best scene would've been the one with Dafne Keen but X-23 isn't in the fucking movie at all
>>11863207Brother, give it a rest. We get it, you like her. Holy shit.
>>11863251As I've personally only mentioned her twice in this thread and she's only been mentioned three times in total in this thread (the third time was someone else just talking about a potential X-23 Mafex), I think you're fag for whining
>>11863253>in this threadsure, but you bring her up regularly enough that I remember it.
>>11863256Unfortunately for you, I'm now going to make sure I continue mentioning twice in every Marvel general thread until the day you die, and woe to you should her likeness be used again in figure form. You shouldn't have said anything.
>>11863257She's a slut
>>11863257You lil fags need to not get so fucking offended at everything, I just told you to chill out, holy shit. Fucking sperg.
>>11863263>I just told you to chill outNo, behaved as if her name had been spammed throughout the thread.I believe that you have some kind of ulterior problem with the actress, and it's your own fault for showing your hand.>>11863261Yeah, that's one of the reason I like her.
>>11863265I hate having to share a hobby with such autists. Holy shit.
>>11863269The last time she was notable in these threads was when her Marvel Legend figure was first revealed, and while a few people called Dafne hot, there was one person who spazzed out and acted like everyone was a pedo for liking a 21 year old girl with decently large breasts.I assume that was you.
>>11863270You don't need to overreact bro, it's cool. I'm glad you like her.
>>11863272>I'm glad you like herYou obviously aren't, you complained about her being referenced three times in a thread with over 200 posts.
>>11863273Ok
>>11863270She's not even that hot, she's pretty mid tbqh
>>11861781Does anyone know when the duo of doom two pack goes up for sale on amazon? I wanna preorder it
>>11863279based tiny collector.
>>11863279it's fun how the ML Doom's quality barely exceeds that figure
>>11863279This goes up in september im pretty sure
>>11863279I guess we know what the next made to order is
>>11863296that would be interestingthere's MCU haslabs they could've done, but maybe they felt the demand wasn't there, an MtO live action Sentinel would be a foot in the door to other thingsbut of course they'd all just have to big figures instead of like seeing how many people would be willing to pay for a $100 Agents of Shield 4 pack or something
>>11863296>a THIRD MTO SentinelI wouldn't mind it but I would hope they put something else between it like they did with Mephisto
>>11863279Unironically looks better than the legends
>>11863355No it doesn't.
>>11863257At least post some images of your X-23 figger when doing so.
>>11863256I brought her up once. There's dozens of us.
Ross comin' through
>>11863447Mad about the messed up eye paint though
>>11863447not too doomer, those figures are all like a year and a half old
>>11863447All of them at once is kinda crazy.
Well anons, have you booked your spidey tickets yet?
>>11863509I'm gonna see it early next monday, no crowd
>>11863509I got my tickets, I'll pretend to be surprised when Jean Grey is revealed
i mean the whole sadie sink thing.. everyone knows right? Unless we are all wrong. but i imagine only people like pic rel don’t know
I can't bring myself to gaf about the whole ordeal cause if it is Jean, introducing that character in a fourth Spider-Man film is incredibly retarded, and if it's not, then it isn't worth all the secrecy. Movie's gonna suck anyway cause it's still packed with all those shitty characters from the first three and Jon Bernthal's awful Punisher
>>11863526who knows anon…
>>11863525Yeah but it's still funny that they were trying to be super secretive about it and Steve Lacy just comes out and casually says it
>>11863530oh you mean his denim grey suit? yea it was nice
>>11863538it’s a cute way to be coy lol
>>11863534Somehow, it's an actor not from the movie that leaks it kek
>>11863179who the fuck's the pud in white near the end supposed to be?
>>11863600mystique and reed richards are both wearing white there
