I forgot to write the title sorry brosThere hasnt been a thread in over a month so I figured id make oneI got these johto figures recently and I thought they looked really good together, its my favorite generation (ignore goku)
>>11862069There isn't a lot to really collect from Pokemon. Gotta keep the collection old-school.
>>11862069Garchomp single finally in stores. Only thing missing is Epic Tyrantrum, but no word/hint on a rerelease yet
>>11862069All I want is a single generation (doesn’t have to be gen 1 but likely would be) that’s both relative scale and non-static. I would want it to have some humans (also at relative scale) and prominent locations. Imagine a series of sets that recreate the game. To use gen 1 as an example, the first set could be Pallet Town: it would have all the buildings; an action figure of Red / the player; relative scale of the starters bulbasaur, charmander, and squirtle; and the first patches of Route 1, which would include pidgey and rattata. The other sets would be the towns, major locations, and connecting routes, with all the pokemon found therein.
>>11862156>All I want isThen you go on to describe what would be the most extensive toy line in the history of toys. You want articulated figures of 150+ Pokemon in scale with eachother, plus trainers, plus buildings, plus the literal routes????
>>11862175Yeah, but once I had all that I wouldn’t ask for anything else.
>>11862185Yes but "all that" has never been done for any toyline in history. It's completely unrealistic.
>>11862175I had the impression blokees wanted to do that since every kantomon since wave 2 had a special card with an unique "151" logo
>>11862156the line would be killed by shit like Oddish. nobody is buying that loser
>>11862198anon said he wanted all 151 plus trainers plus buildings plus the actual terrain of the routes. blokees was never gonna do all that.
>>11862156Not only would this never happen, even if it did, you and the rest of us probably wouldn't have the space for it unless the scale was even smaller than scale world. It's a fun idea, though. Could be neat to have AR dioramas that you could see through a headset that scale with your figures. I remember seeing one of them advertised doing something like that with minecraft years back.
>>11862104I saw this at my local target the other day and kinda wanted him but passed
>>11862156>That will be $999.99 per town, sir>2999.99 for Saffron
>>11862273Fuck you, man, Oddish is based.
Have we got any good quality figs for Snorunt / evo's, and Honedge / Evo's?
>>11862422There was an ep where an Oddish painted itself pink and wanted to fly with its Hoppip friends. That ep was really memorable for me for some reason.
>>11862156This. Although having buildings and routes is overkill. Maybe a Pokemon center playset, but that would be it. I would love for 150+ to have articulated figures. Just give the license to Blokees.>>11862175Obviously some Pokemon cant articulate like Voltorb or Magneton, but for the main hitters like starters, they should at the very least have basic articulation. >plus buildings, plus the literal routesYeah thats too much>>11862273Obviously no, but for Pokemon as small and simple as Oddish, they would act more as accessories rather than standalone figures.e.g. A Vileplume pack with and Oddish that can move its little legs and a Gloom. throw in an accessory like vine whip for Vileplum and boom! Or a forest pack for forest Pokemon. So two Oddish, two Belsprouts and then add a bigger figure like Tropius. It is possible, but Jazwares and Tomy are stupid for some reason. Blokees has a chance.
>>11862156I just want Tomy to reprint older gens more often and not just starters/eeveelutions/legendaries
Saw this at Target while looking for SS86 Starscream (which they didn't have). I was tempted to buy a Garchomp, but I just don't have room for it...
>>11862915Lol. My Target will never be stocked like this. Last time I went there was just a wall of dozens of Gallades.
>>11862932i don't know what possessed them to release Gallade and Scizor along with Charizard Y for the special aisle release. They should have bumped up the re-release of Mewtwo and the new Blastoise. It also doesn't help that I think stores underbought Charizard Y/scalpers thought it was a hot item to flip because muh charizard so they sold out quickly and Target got another 2-3 waves of them in.
>>11862601that packaging has so much soul
It's been ages since I tried getting a western pokemon release. How easy is it to get ahold of Deoxys, Cinderace, tox, and zera? Those poseable ones
>>11863132cinderace, tox and zera are pretty bad and not very posable. cinderace is the worst and its legs barely move which makes no sense. deoxys is a great figure though. they are all available on ebay for under $25 each since deoxys is relatively recent and the other three are not very desired.
I remember when pokeymans was still new, I resisted buying the figurines, knowing that I could never afford 151 of _anything_even if each one was a buck, that felt completely insane and unfeasible to me. and what happens if I get, say, 142 of them and can't get the rest? It would drive me insane. My stepbrothers had a lot of the figurines though. Naw i'm content to have like, 9-10 plushes. Which is not to say I wouldn't welcome a few more.
>>11862069Does anybody who went to comic con ever notice that one store selling Hasbro Makuhita for $10?
>>11863318Funny. That's how much the moncolles were when I was living abroad so I went as crazy as I could, but even then I was concerned about scale. Especially since bigger toys existed too
>>11863328Man I miss all my old digimon and pokemon figures....
>>11862413Why? I'm replacing my plamo for it.
