Welcome to the 1:18th general. All 1:18th scale lines are welcome including larger scales that may work with 1:18th. Post pics of your latest purchases, dios, customs and whatever else you feel like posting. We encourage mixing lines. Let’s keep this general fun and help each other out.Previous Thread: >>118305221:18th lines:Acid Rain(post apocalyptic soldiers, mechs, robots, vehicles)Boss Fight Studios(Fantasy, Zorro, Tarzan, Zombies, The Phantom, horses)Dime Novel Legends(Western figures)GI JoeHiya(Aliens, D.C., Predator, Robocop)Indiana JonesJazwares(Halo, Fortnite)Joy Toy(Warhammer 40k, Modern/futuristic military soldiers, mechs, dioramas, vehicles)Jurassic ParkMarauder Gun Runners(Modern military, WWII)Marvel UniverseMicromanPalisades: Army of the DeadPlanet Green Valley(Futuristic military females)Schleich(Fantasy, civilians, playsets)Shodo Kamen RiderStar Wars TVCThe Corps
>>11868097Awesome stuff!
Range Viper arrived today, and damn do the Hiya Joes just keep getting higher quality
>>11868412He comes with a good amount of accessories
>>11868415The grenade launcher's cylinder actually moves which is kinda impressive for this size.
>>11868418I do wish he had a boot swivel though so that it would be easier to put him in a nice knee resting pose.
>>11868415Score, great set
>>11868422After being initially let down by Baroness, the Hiya Joe line has legit become one of my favorite 1/18 lines. Which makes the fact that their Walking Dead line is so inferior very frustrating. The Joes arw basically the same price, but have better articulation and more accessories. Daryl and Negan dont even come with swappable hands to better hold their guns and crossbow.
>>11867784fwiw I ended up ordering the Acid Rain figure I thought looked cool in the last thread, should be on it's way now
>>11869194I should give them a try again. I was really happy with their Robocop and Dredd lines, but the Aliens/Predators were shockingly bad engineering, especially leg and ankle articulation.
with a new joe movie announced... will we see more 1:18 joes or is everything gonna be 1:12 gayness? For the Snake Eyes solo movie all toys were 1:12 IIRC.
My Nanmu Allosaurus arrived. It's Nanmu's first and seemingly only 1/18 scale figure since it's the smallest Allosaurus species. Kinda crazy that Allosaurus europaeus and Allosaurus fragilis are the same genus, but one is the size of an elephant and the other is the size of a horse.

>>11869458I never collected their Predator or Alien figures, but I would totally recommend giving their newer Joes a try. Range Viper and Baroness barely feel like they are part of the same line given how much better Range Viper is.
>>11870362One simply ate his Wheaties.
>>11870362Even with his armor and spear, the allosaurus looks like it could make a snack of him
>>11870606They look like the guys you hire for a pre-historic safari.
>>11870362>>11870365Would the Hammond Collection Allosaurus be a good enough stand-in for Saurophaganax/Allosaurus anax to complete the articulated quadrilogy?
>>11870708Truth nuke>>11870828Probably, A europaeus was still weighed as much as a clydesdale. I wouldnt want to fight one without a gun.>>11870977Unfortunately the the Hammond Collection allo just isnt big enough to slot in well as Saurophaganax/Allosaurus Anax. Sauro was like 3 to 4 meters longer than Fragilis and upwards of 2 tons more massive than it.
>>11871128That's my boy right there. God I love him. so cute.
>>11870853 May I recommend David Drake. https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/18775054-dinosaurs-a-dirigibleI will add as a disclaimer that time travel research is (in the book) a tightly guarded secret of the government of Israel who are attempting to "fine tune" arrivals in the past for their own specific interests.
Goddamn, the Acro looks so good. I can't wait for it and my Dryptosaurus armor.
